This Riad is located in the heart of the medina not far from jemaa el fna. The personnel is extremely friendly and helpful and will guide you to nice experiences in the city. The breakfast is served on the roof terrace, and is very delicious. We stayed in the sapphire suite which was spacious and with beautiful interior. I would recommend anyone to stay here.

There was an extra charge for the hot tub which we didn't know until checkout but our kids loved it so much we would have paid anyway. Also, some bread got left in the oven one evening and burned, creating a lot of smoke. I was a bit concerned that no smoke detector went off--but honestly, I did not see a smoke detector in any of the 4 places we stayed in Morocco. Maybe there are not common.
I can't say enough about how lovely and welcoming the staff at Riad Reves D'orient is. We weren't sure where to park so someone met us by motorcycle and led us to the car park. Then a porter carted our bags to the Riad (about a 10 min walk). We were there for New Year's Eve and the riad had prepared a nice Moroccan dinner with music and dancing. The staff was accomodating and made our young children a simple dinner of chicken and spaghetti. The rooms were welcoming with rose petals strewn on the sink basin. Everything was spacious and clean. Very strong wifi signal and lovely roof oasis.

Really have to search something out to find a criticism. Breakfast was lovely, room was comfortable, terasse is amazing. Jacuzzi was only marginally functioning and needed a day's advance notice. We understood this and it was December after all, but would have been nice to have it fully functioning as that is one feature that my kids (older 18, 11) enjoy.
The staff are to a person extraordinary. They go above and beyond time and again. This is definitely a place we plan to return to. Beautiful old riad-style (courtyard) house. They tell you to feel like you are at home, and honestly you really do! Marrakech is a wonder to discover. Reves d'Orient is an amazing place to use as a base from which to do so. Try the cooking lesson - lot of fun and yummy!

I traveled with a friend of mine and we only spent one night at this Riad and it was amazing. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was pleasant. I felt as if I was staying in the home of my family. One of their staff (I can't remember his name, but very nice gentleman) escorted me to the hammam (which is not at the hotel) and even waited until I was finished so I did not get lost returning to the Riad. The accommodations were beautiful and everyone was helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this Riad.

Considering the room rate there really could be a water boiler and a small fridge (we have to handle insulin as our daughter has diabetes). The beds and the blankets in the small chamber of the Saphire are somewhat short. Still these are minor problems.
Great location. Despite being right in the medina it was some crooked alleys away from the main bazaar and quiet and calm. Nice staff. Good food. Splendid breakfasts. We stayed in the Saphire suite whith nice decorations - really as something from Arabian nights. The bathroom with its octagonal cupola resembled a hammam - very beautiful. The roof terrace where we had all breakfasts was nice.

Nothing--loved it all.
I am convinced that staying at this Riad was the key to our fabulous experience in Marrakech. Kareema and Rashid were so lovely--after we were transported from the airport, they gave us a warm welcome and helped us arrange any activity we wanted in our quick 3-day stay. We rode camels, had a city tour, shopped in the market and made our most favorite meal of the trip during a cooking class at the Riad, and had a great experience with the Hammam bath at their spa. Would HIGHLY recommend Riad Reves D'orient!

Everything was as described by others who have stayed here. From the staff to the meals to the facilities, everything was excellent and much appreciated.

Not best location as this Riad is located in very narrow complex streets and can be bit difficult for someone coming back after night out ;). I guess its all part of the Riad experience.
Very friendly staff and personalised service.

On ground floor not the most private sound wise as door right by toilet which only had a curtain for privacy. Was quiet in raid so ok but would be a bit uhh uncomfortable if busy downstairs as its right next to where people sit. Research the hamman at the other raid was very vigorous as scrubbed severely was painful at times as was the massage the English and French was limited so hard to explain this.
The welcome, breakfast on the terrace, dinner was great value and tasty. Room was beautiful everything you need. Local knowledge good and transfers easy from raid to airport. Incredibly relaxing and surprisingly quiet. All the mint tea you could ask for water available if needed ok price. Offer excursions if wanted too.

Location is very central moments from medina shopping streets but it is down a set of narrow alleyways which makes it hard to find on first arrival (they do offer to meet you though on the road where the taxi would drop you, for a charge presumably) and we were back early because of kids but I would fancy in the dark as not sure lighting all that great so torch might be useful.
Traditional beautiful decor all done to a high standard. Individual rooms , we has sapphire suite which is fab for families as separate twin room leading off. Friendly and helpful staff. Good mix of breakfast all served on terrace which is beautiful. Readily offered mint tea when came in from tramping through the medina which was very welcome.

Nothing! It was all positive!
I am a frequent traveler and this was by far my favorite hotel stay ever! I traveled with my mum and sister and we felt so welcome by everyone it was as if we were in our own home! Everyone at Riad Reves D'orient was sweet and kind and would go out of their way for us. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful and makes you want to spend a day just lounging around having tea and hanging out in the hotel. We had considered staying at a modern hotel chain, but we're so glad we didn't! We would have missed out on meeting these wonderful people, Samira, Yasin and Yousef, and we would have missed out on being in a Morrocan style home with beautiful architecture and lovely people. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and tea are served whenever you want! You don't get that at a chain hotel. The Riad is also very close to all the markets and the Jamaa Al Fna and everything is within walking distance. All in all, we were delighted with the Riad and it's wonderful staff and wouldn't think twice about staying there again!

There isn't much to criticise. The free Wifi is a little weak in the rooms, but there isn't much else I can think of.
The gang at Riad Rêves D'orient were absolutely fantastic. Mostapha, Yassine and Yusof all helped us feel relaxed and welcome in the lovely and peaceful surroundings of the Riad. The location of the riad was, in my opinion, perfect. It is inside the medina and therefore close to all the things a visitor to Marrakech wants to see, but at the same time manages to be secluded and traquil as it is down a sidestreet away from the main thoroughfare. The food in the Riad was fantastic as well. The Lemon Chicken we had here was probably the best of our trip. When we returned to Marrakech from Essaouira we wanted to book back into here, but it was fully booked, so we booked into one of the sister Riads- Princess du Desert and we were not disappointed. I would have no qualms in recommending this Riad to friends and family.

It was great being picked up from the airport and being taken to the riad. I would have not found it on my own. Mustafa welcomed me and he was amazing the whole time. Meet Samira and she was absolutely lovely too.Always checking if I was ok without being too intrusive. Breakfast was fresh and filling had dinner on my last night that wa excellent too. Very relaxing! I cannot wait to return!
