If only I knew how amazing this place and it's staff was before I only booked one night! Treat yourself if you're staying in Chefchouen and make Riad Rifandalus your host home. The people were great, location has you right near town center, service was perfect, everyone was so helpful, the rooms were clean and felt like home, breakfast on the roof overlooked the city! Oh the memories in just a single day and night's stay. The room we stayed in was a two bedroom apartment with a bathroom and a kitchen. Everything about this place felt as comfortable as home. During our stay at chefchouen we made a nomadic go of it by staying at different places each night, but this was by far the place to stay if you're visiting Chefchouen. If you're only staying for a night, treat yourself to this Riad. If you're staying longer, there's no place I'd recommend more highly than Riad Rifandalus; it really made our trip staying here.
Everything. The rooms are lovely. Too bad we couldn't stay longer.
Quality of beds (could sleep forever...) Peacefulness and breakfast at the terrace with a nice view.
A bit difficult to find even with locals trying to help... Shower not adequate to tall guys....
The owner, Ahmed, was genuinly nice and very helpful. We were travelling onto Fes and he arranged to have a guide take us to the grande taxi stand and arrange a fair price and the route to Fes. By doing so we paid half the rate at a cost of a few dirhams to the guide. The hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was on the terrace with fresh juice, homemade butter and local honey. The rooms were ideal for a 5/6 family and well air conditioned.
We only stayed for one night could easily have stayed longer.
Wonderful breakfast served at the terrace ...the charismatic owner of Rifandalus and his attentive nature made our stay extra special!!!
The owner met us at the closest car parking area and then gave us the option of a different room at a special rate which we took. Fatima charmed us at breakfast and fed us delicious food.
I stayed in the Rabat room and loved the private terrace overlooking the city. The cold breakfast was filling, tasty, and varied (although it lacked protein.) The staff were very pleasant and I enjoyed conversing with the owner, who was keen on getting feedback for improvements. Overall, a lovely stay.
There were a few minor mechanical issues, but none that really affected my stay, except that the shower leaked all over the bathroom floor.
We loved the helpfulness of the staff. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything taken care of. The location is perfect, and the patio has a wonderful view of the mountains.
Great location. Right in middle of the city. Staff was very friendly and catered to every need.
Well located and charming. A family owned riad with friendly staff. The rooftop terrace is amazing.
Spaces are tight, with too much furniture getting in the way. Does not accept credit cards or usd.
Great atmosphere, very friendly owner, good breakfast, helpful staff, great location, great upstairs terrace
Staff wasn't great with English, wifi didn't work in our room, and some of the facilities didn't work 100% which added charm/character in some instances but in others was a little annoying (shower leaked water to the bathroom floor)
Great location, friendly and accommodating host/owner, charming rooms
It's a little difficult to find, in part because it's relatively new and in part because the street isn't known by locals by its official name (Hassan II), but rather as 'Andalus' (I think). It might help to post walking directions. Essentially, if you ask a taxi to drop you off at Bab Souk and enter there, you'll turn left inside and follow the street. The riad will be on your left side after a few minutes walk.
This family-run riad is an absolute gem. We felt incredibly welcome and well taken care of while staying here. I would highly recommend this riad to groups of friends or families as the two-bedroom apartments are a great alternative to single room hotels.
Anasse and staff were very helpful and had wonderful attitudes. The 2bd apartment was perfect for our needs and the location in the gorgeous medina was great!
Location : perfect location in old town.. Easy to walk around Staff : friendly.. Helpful. We arrived 7 am (original plan was 6pm previous day, outlook was 3 am per front manager understanding), he had been waiting for us as we definitely need help to park car and walk to hotel... Breakfast : nice and delicious...
Difficult to locate hotel by gps.. Need local people to lead us
Good location, in the center of Chefchaouen (although difficult to find at first). Friendly personnel.
Breakfast is served in the room; there is no central dining room.
Not well known yet. It was difficult to find.
