We loved the Riad Rose du Desert and next time we go to Marrakech we want to stay here again. The price is very good considering the good conditions and the moroccan atmosphere. Staff was very nice and helpful. The location: the riad is very close to the city center, to Jemaa El Fna, to the street Bab Doukkala where you can find a lot of nice things to buy and meet a lot of nice people and close to Majorelle Gardens (walking distance). The riad is very clean and it smells good every day. The patio and the rooms look very nice and authentic. They serve you with cookies and lovely mint tea upon your arrival. The riad is located on a hidden street where is very nice and quiet. There are two twins riads, one is blue and the other one is red. We stayed at the blue one. Maybe next time we'll try the red riad :) The breakfast was very tasty but a little too poor and we had to pay for the tea and omelet. When we arrived it was not easy to find the hidden location and we had to pay a boy on the street to take us to the riad (but it was worth).

We loved the staff and how welcome they made us feel. They helped us find places to eat, find taxis, made us aware that haggling is expected and what things should cost. We felt safe and very well looked after. The riad was very clean and well taken care of. We would definitely go back! It is a bit off the beaten path. For anyone unfamiliar with Marrakech, email first and have them pick you up at the airport.

Great location for a riad. Close to everything yet not buried deep in the medina. Lovely staff, felt like you were staying with family. Loved the décor, especially in the central courtyard and in the salon...gem of a place!

Excellent, very friendly and helpful staff. Our room was simple, but nicely decorated and very comfortable. The location in the medina was good compared to other riads, with just a couple easy turns out to a main street. After a week in Morocco, we determined that the medinas are not for the faint of heart - the area seems to get progressively seedier as the night goes on, and this makes it less attractive to go out at night (a problem considering the riad does not have a restaurant).

It's a great little riad. The location is perfect, in a quiet little street, but very close to main attractions. Walking distance to Jemma el-Fna square, Jardin Majorelle and all other main sights. No need to use taxis. The riad itself is perfectly clean and recently renovated (it looks like it has been renovated this year - but we didn't ask). It has a truly beautiful patio and a roof terrace where you are served breakfast. There are also sunbeds on the terrace so you can relax during the day. Breakfasts are continental, with baguette, pancakes, honey, jam, orange juice, coffee and moroccan mint tea. Super tasty! The staff is very kind and helpful. Even though the price was really low, our room was cleaned and towels changed everyday. Great value for money! I really recommend it. It's a perfect combination of great location and high standard.
