The room was great and I felt very safe walking back late in this area. The manager was excellent and did everything possible to make our stay as comfortable and as welcoming as possible. He helped is book an excursion at a fraction of the price of any internet seller and street vendor. I recommend that if you are there for the weekend you try their evening meal. It was delicious. I would recommend to anyone.
Nothing to complain about. It was a great place to stay and would use again.
Rose du desert is a beautiful riad near jeema el fna, principal square in the heart of Marrakesh.Youssef and his staff are available and kind people.rooms, cleanliness and friendliness are exceptional. we recommend it to everyone! Marlen e Alessandro
Great location. Yousef and his staff were wonderful! It was my second visit and we were well looked after.
Some building work in the house next door which woke us at 8.30 in the morning. Nothing to be worried about.
Staff were pleasant and helpful when arranging excursions, transfers, giving directions etc. Arranging airport transfer was worthwhile as finding riad would have been difficult if travelling independently.
Highly recommended accommodation with very helpful staff :)
perfect location, very clean facilities, friendly and helpful staff, Yussuf is an excellent host who was always there and provided us with maps and sightseeing tipps. All in all a very pleasant stay and I can definitely recommend this Riad as a place to stay in Marrakech.
Breakfast was good but could be better, I missed fresh fruit
The staff is very very helpful and always at disposal to give all the support and information.
In the end of January the weather is not warm and the structure suffers a little humidity affliction.
Nice and helpfull staff. Approx 10 min to jamaal el fna square. It is located at the old city Medina.
The Riad was in a good location, close to the main square yet far enough away from the busy streets. It was good value for money, the roof top terrace was really nice and most of the staff (especially the guys) were very friendly.
Rooms on the ground floor were really cold and damp, therefore definitely ask for a room upstairs. Breakfast is average and the same everyday. We had booked online and upon arrival had asked whether we could pay in cash (to avoid the credit card fee). Asma then told us that our bank account had already been charged with what it said on the booking invoice. We couldn't check our balance (internet was very unstable for most of the time) but believed what we were told. When we returned home we realised that this was wasn't the truth and we had been charged an additional € 24 than we had been told and what was stated on the booking invoice. We were not impressed that we were lied to and therefore would not recommend to stay at this Riad unless the price is fixed beforehand.
Great location, perfect hospitality and very pleasant comfortable stay :) Definately recommended :)
Everything. Seriously, there was nothing to complain about.
Perfect location: the Riad is located in the old city (medina), not far away from Jemaa el-Fnaa, but at the same time aside on noisy streets and markets (souk). Friendly and helpful staff speaking English and French, nice breakfasts, quiet, and, of course, very authentic oriental interiors. Very comfortable and relaxing place.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Room could be cleaner, old wet and dirty bath mat on floor. Breakfast was stingy and wanted to charge extra for a 1 egg omelette!
Very helpfull and nice staff, they have two riads on the same street, boyh very similar. We had nice room on the grounf flor it the second one. Room was very clean and had a safe. Nice breakfast served on the terrace. Good location, far from the souks makes it easy to find and to come back later, not risking of getting lost. Few minutes walk from jamma el fna.
Room was bit humid but ok, poor wifi reception in the room but good on the terrace.
Very helpful and friendly staff.
Aircinditiining very noisy when it's turned on,
The staff are excellent ,good welcome and so helpful.Very clean and comfortable.Traditional Morroccan style place in a good position able to walk to main square.Quiet and peaceful.
Mostly the staff. They were kind, helpful and nice to be around. They plan my excursion, loaded me up w.maps ans directions. The guys are there 24/7 w.out complaint. As a solo traveler I couldn't have felt more secure. It can be tricky to find but the people on the street will stop what the are doing to help. I wish I could recall their names b.c I'd like them to know how much I appreciated it all. One morning I didnt eat the egg they served and didnt mention it. The next morning they were concerned and wanted to know what kind of egg would make me happy. Such nice people who go out of their way to make it a pleasant stay. Shokran guys!
Can be difficult to find but the cities of morocco can be diificult at first. Find a monument as a point of reference!
Very professional and helpfull staff. Clean and nicely restored riad.
A little difficult to find. When you see the sign above an arch at the mainstreet (route sidi abdelaziz according to Google Maps), you enter the alley and go straight to the end (there is an other mosque). At the end you go left, then is the building on your left side.
staff were extremely friendly and helpful. the room was clean and comfortable the breakfast was delicious and filling
the riad was a little difficult to find and we should have taken up their offer of a taxi pick up from the airport,
very friendly staff cental location clean and comfortable good breakfast
The riad is really nicely decorated, the beds are comfortable and breakfast is fantastic!!! In terms of price quality it's really great!
As anything in the medina, it's quite hard to find the riad, once you get it it's not so bad. On arrival, a kid helped us find it and wanted to charge us 5 pounds for it, the riad owners didn't really help us sort out the situation, which was a bit annoying. But apart from that, it's a fantastic place. Walls were quite thin, so you could hear all the noise in the other bedrooms
This place is great. Staff was very helpful, they arrange us a taxi at a good price when we depart to the airport, location is 15 min by walk to main square, but this is not a problem, you are in Marrakech! Rooms are clean, breakfast is ok for this price. I recommend this place if you want a price/quality accomodation.
The staff first of all who was onsite 24 hours a day! The accommodations, location - all of it - were perfect! As a solo traveler, I felt like I was at home. I misplaced all their names but Yoseph, his friend & Asana(?) took care of my every need. They had maps, highlighted directions, arranged an excursion & transportation and made me so welcome. I am truly indebted to them for making the end of my trip in Morocco a dream vacation. They were even concerned that I enjoyed my breakfast! Thanks to each of them. If I return to Morocco, there's no question I would stay there again.
Everything is perfect in this hotel. Easy to find.
Location of hotel, not nice surroundings walking to main square Jemaa el-Fnaa.
