Situated at the heart of the famous Marrakesh Medina, near the souks (markets) and a short ride from the Jemaa El Fna, this attractive house has been restored respecting Moroccan traditions.

An interesting property close to the souks and markets of Marrakech.
This property feels like a private house that is not well adapted to having tourists. We had a very poor check-in experience having to spend a great deal of time filling in forms and other formalities: in other places this was done for us. We were then asked to pay upfront for the entire stay before we had even seen our room. The payment was a pain because, although the riad proudly displays credit card symbols, the management clearly do not want to accept money this way. We were asked to pay in cash in Euros then cash in Dirhams before they finally accepted a visa card (but with a lot of moaning and rolling of eyes). This is not a good way to start a stay! The room was alright but the shower had fallen from the wall and had not been repaired. I don't think this is very good. There is no key given to the front door and when guests return from dinner in the evening there is a long wait (5 minutes) outside to get let in. Also guests constantly ringing on the door disturbs other guests. The breakfast only had sweet options. Even the crepes came with sugar already loaded on whether you wanted it or not. Some cheese or something savoury would be good. We did not get a receipt.
