This place was gorgeous to be in, we were delighted when we arrived. The breakfast was really nice and the staff helped us with lots of things-they were very friendly. I loved the Lounge area in the courtyard. Very romantic and great value.
It took about 15/25 minutes to walk to the main square and souks-not a problem at all for us-but could be off putting for those not good with walking. But I really thought this riad was great value and I felt safe in the peaceful streets surrounding it
Great Staff, lovely riad
Location in alleys, basic breakfast
Staff were very friendly and helpful Rooms are beautifully decorated and clean Has a lovely courtyard and terrace Small number of rooms so you don't feel crowded out Very quiet even though you're in the middle of the Medina
Wi-fi reception not very good No tea or coffee making facilities in the room
Small but charming riad for little people. nice staff, nicely decorated, clean enough.
Small but charming riad. However our room as with most rooms were more like a single room than a double. The bed was more a large single, not suitable for anyone over 6" tall. My partners size 11 could not fit in the space between the bed and the wall, I'm a tad smaller and was just able to squeeze in my side of the bed. The rooms were very nicely presented but very dark. No natural lighting in the room the only window looked out into the very small court yard approximately 15" x15. The room terrace where you have a meal was ok. You have to share tables with fello guest first thing in the morning. You didn't have a choice. I could go on, but the positives were that the staff was rather nice. If you don't mind dark alleys and walking for miles through the cobbled and being harassed by the locals fine otherwise stay on the mains. All in all an experience I would not have missed. At least nit to go IT again.
great place in a great location, delicious food, nice and helpful staff. just perfect
The Riad was gorgeous & very zen. staff were very friendly & helpful. Breakfast was fantastic. Rooms very clean. Ask for pick up option for the first time so that you won't get lost.
Wifi was very unreliable & the bed was a bit small for 2 people.
Central location. Nice pool. Good value for money and cosy. Gave good directions and map to navigate around.
Hard to find initially. Will need to pay street kids to bring you in for the first time. Other riads in Fez were much better signposted.
Friendly staff. Also met the manager, he was nice guy too. The riad was clean. I would recommend it.
Location is not the best but it's ok. Also the wifi was not strong in our room but didn't bother.
Breakfast was more like dessert! Cake, pudding, crepes etc. A savory option would be nice :) Also the unofficial bag boy ripped us off so much. And they charged us 10€ to get our laundry done and only told us the price after it was done! Also 15€ airport transfer is probably a bit much.
The staff at the Riad were very helpful. I arrived during a rain and hailstorm, and they made me mint tea and served me cookies while I watched the downpour. The room was lovely - large and comfortable. Unfortunately I wasn't able to enjoy the rooftop patio due to the rain, but I had a delicious breakfast that they served extra early for me so I could get to Merzouga that day.
Unfortunately, most riads (like Sadaka) only have wifi in the common areas - not a problem unless you need to Skype, and then everyone has to listen to your conversation.
You enter inside the riad, and you feel yourself like in a fairytale: such a beautiful inner garden, everything is decorated in a very nice way: a room, toilet, terrace.. Chantal, the owner, is very polite and nice, as well as guys that work there. We had a problem with our bag that needed to be repaired, and Chantal asked us to bring it to her, and the next day we got our beg repaired so well! All atmosphiere of being in a nice home elegant ambience is very pleasant.
The breakfast could be better and with bigger variety and amount. It is kinda buffet, but in reality it is not. You have to ask for one more peace of pancake or cheese or glass of juice every time, and you will get it if you ask. Just it makes you feel a bit uncomfortable asking all the time, which is not pleasant. But this minus really can not spoil general feeling that this riad gives.
This could not have been a better place to stay! Chantal and her fabulous employees truly made me feel like I was at home. The value and service was excellent. If you are more than one person, they will organize custom and private tours of days trips. One of the best hotel experience's I've had in my many travels!
Wifi wasn't strong, and the Riad is just a bit far far the from action but nothing out of question for younger travellers.
Riad Sadaka was AMAZING! The staff was super nice and friendly and was great at giving directions around Marrakech - they would even walk us there if they had time! The Riad is super cozy and has a homey feel to it. You get to know the other guests as the courtyard and breakfast areas are very open.
The only downside I could think of would be that all the rooms are centered around a common courtyard - making privacy and noisiness a problem. But honestly it would only be a problem if you were EXTREMELY PICKY (or like on your honeymoon or something). I personally did not find it an issue at all!
Nice English speaking staff.
Could be a better breakfast.
Wonderful riad with a great terrace, nice fountain in the courtyard and cozy pretty rooms. It’s located in the Medina near the gare routier not too far from Jemaa el Fna. The owner is really nice, she also helped us renting a car. We really spent a great time.
Chantal, the owner is very welcoming and she has the patience to explain all she can about Marrakech. Adil the manager is also very open to give you advices and very friendly.
Attentive and knowledgeable staff. Good location once you get to know your way. Clean and comfortable, great terrace and good food.
Chantal the owner couldnt do enough to help, from recommending excursions and helping arrange them, providing food and drinks, she really went above and beyond. A gorgeous Riad in a great location. Highly recommended
Very stylish interior design. A little bit of an anonymous feel to it, so if you want to be left alone, this is your place.
The location was a little challenging to find.
A beautiful riad that is a haven from 'full-on' Marrakesh. Chantal, the owner, was incredibly helpful; finding restaurants to eat at, picking us up by car, recommending places to go and things to do, cooking exactly what we liked for dinner. She even made panna cotta specially for our kids since the restaurant the night before had run out. We loved the breakfasts on the roof terrace in the sun. If you are a largish group who fancy a quiet dinner together (we were 4) I would recommend asking them to cook you dinner one night; the food is high quality, authentically cooked by a great Moroccan chef and served in the roof terrace room. Since we were the only ones dining, it felt wonderfully luxurious. Chantal also managed to put up an extra bed into our triple room so our family could be together, which was great. Top tip: those plugs in the sink and shower are for covering the plugholes when not in use!
Great staff, very helpful and knowledgeable on the area, things to do etc
Hospitality of Riad staff. I would stay here again simply for this reason. Relaxed atmosphere created. Quiet at night. Cleanliness excellent.
Drains smelt from time to time in bathroom.
Loved the decor and ambience of the riad. They served us delicious tea and cookies upon arrival too!
Special thank you to Chantal, very warm and friendly hotel, feel at home.
It took us exactly, 1.30 hours to find the hotel, in the heart of old medina, you need a guide every time you go out.
The Riad was very beautiful and calm, they received us with a delicious traditional tea, the personal specially Issam treated us very kind and helped us in any requirement. Breakfast was good and the room was confortable, I definitely recomend this Riad
