This is a beautiful Riad, with amazing people like Laziz and Hammid who run it. They will do anything for you to make you feel very welcome. We had the nomade suite, having the sitting room was lovely especially at night when the fire was lit. We ate in the Riad for three nights and the food was lovely. Hopefully we will return sometime
The Riad was an experience in itself. Anything you wanted you just ask for. Hammid and Laziz are wonderful people and really made our holiday. Sometime we will go back and stay in the same place.
Everything. Staying at the Riad Safar was like having our own private room at the Alhambra, Grenada. The most authentic and magical place I have ever stayed. The city itself is fantastic to explore but this was made all the better by our accommodation. The staff are just lovely despite the language barrier (our french is shamefully poor) and it's a holiday and hotel we shall never forget! A thousand thank yous!
Going home :(
The quiteness and that in the middle of thetown the decoration of our very spacious room and bathroom
We liked it all
hospitality eagerness to help tranquility
have to walk everywhere
The staff, particularly Laaziza and Hamid, are wonderful. (Be aware they don't speak English, so you'll need some French.) The riad itself is exquisite and we agreed it was the highlight of our stay in Marrakech. We felt as if we had our own little palace and were encouraged to treat it like home. It was spotless. Laaziza's cooking was the best food we had in Marrakech. Dinner on the first evening was complimentary. Breakfast was also good - traditional Maroccan. The roof terrace is fabulous; we spent time there late afternoons listening to the call to prayer coming from every direction. We slept very well.
The bathrooms/showers, although very clean, could do to be updated. A minor issue though.
Great location in the heart of the medina - the staff were very friendly and the breakfasts were lovely. Really nice boutique feel
The toiletries were a bit ordinary, the shower could only be hand held and the pool was empty
Beware the sultan room. No proper toilet, damp and smells of drains. All for 100 euros a night
The staff were excellent and very helpful. The roof terrace was very pleasant. The Riad was attractive.
As always, navigating through the Souks can be difficult. The Touareg Room needs some refurbishment.
