- Staff were fantastic, very helpful in arranging transfer from train station and arranging a guide to show us the medina, looked after us very well - Beautifully decorated and a rooftop terrace with great views across the city - Good breakfast and dinner
Best shower with verry good wash products
Location, wrong map on google maps; if you don't know the area you'll never find the riad; ask to bee waited in an important place.
Very beautiful with excellent service. Comfortable and quiet with access to a terrace with a gorgeous view. If you are feeling adventurous, there are markets close by.... five minute walk. People are friendly.
Nothing. I would love to go again.
hospitality breakfest perfect location
no wifi in room
The staff were really friendly and helpful. They arranged transfers for us, and made suggestions as to where we could eat. The Fadila room we had in the tower was small but had the most wonderful terrace.
The riad itself is not easy to find on first arrival but is, in fact, not all that far from Bab Boujeloud and Place Batha.
Riad Said is gorgeous and grand, room was very spacious and luxurious, location was very convenient near Place Batha and Bab Bou Jeloud, and the best French baguettes I have ever tasted!
Quality of customer service was extremely poor. The water in the rain shower leaked through the light fixtures in the shower itself, creating the risk of electrocution. When I notified the first staff member Mohammed, he advised this was not a problem. When I escalated to the second staff member Adil, he recognized the danger and advised the problem would be fixed that day. I had to follow up on 2 separate occasions across the following 2 days of our 5 night stay at the riad, as not only had the risk of electrocution not been removed but there had been no communication whatsoever on the issue from any staff member, despite my multiple follow ups and request for communication initiative from the riad on second follow up. The risk of electrocution was not removed for the entire duration of our stay across 5 nights. When I expressed my unhappiness with the general customer service upon check out, I was met with farcical excuses from Adil who palmed off accountability to manager Tony who was not present in the conversation -- very unprofessional. I felt unwelcome by manager Tony throughout my entire stay, he rarely talked to me or smiled at me, and I felt particularly uncomfortable when he invited me to check out 1 day earlier than my reservation.
The location in the old city (although only accessible on foot), peaceful courtyard and private roof terrace.
Long climb up to room, which wasn't noted on booking.com website.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
No secure parking. Finding the place is a bit of a challenge.
Adil the manager and his staff were excellent
Eating breakfast in the direct Moroccan sun every day
Liked sitting on the rooftop enjoying the Medina and mountain views
That we needed an escort to go to dinner for fear of getting lost. The first night we were too late to say we wanted the Riad to serve us dinner (because we thought we would be able to walk around and find a restaurant so we didn't order prior, as they offered). The other two nights we ate at the Riad because after two exhausting days we were too tired to be escorted to dinner. Felt a bit trapped. We usually like to eat out and not at the hotels we are staying at. Not our thing.
the staff was very friendly and attentive, they had great suggestions and were very helpfull. breakfast was excellent. rooms and bed were very spacious and comfortable.
location, the roof top terrace and the personal service at breakfast
knowing where to park and who were official guides. loads of people promised to guide you but no-one actually knew where it was.parking officials had high vis bibs on. would be worth putting on website parking location
Loved the location and ambiance of the place
They did not offer us breakfast because we were leaving too early in the morning.
Staff were very helpful and friendly. Superb rooftop terrace with comfortable seating and great views.
Our room was gorgeous and quiet, the courtyard was beautiful, breakfast on the rooftop was lovely, and the view from the rooftop was amazing. Can't say enough good about Adil, who advised us on an airport transfer, restaurants, a guide for our first day in the city, and many other essentials and was always as charming as he was helpful. The kitchen and other staff were great, too. Riad Said is one of the favorite places we stayed in Morocco.
The staff was great. We felt like we were staying at a local's historic home. Nice and close to medina. Very quiet and comfortable.
Riad Said is fabulous, very comfortable, and rooms are beautifully presented. Staff extremely helpful and courteous. Many thanks to Tony and all the staff we met for your efforts in making us feel so welcome .We won't hesitate to recommend you to others.
- Very charming decor - Excellent location, inside the medina but quiet and close to the gate where the taxi drops you off - Nice breakfastm with views of the medina from the roofterrace
The architecture and overall feel was what we expected of Morocco. The apartment was spacious and authentic. The position of the riad was ideal.
Breakfast was not value for money and was very slow each day. The management was impersonal and did not look after the guests. They provided as little as they could, not what would be expected at this cost.
A beautiful authentic riad adjacent Fez's historic medina. Staff were very helpful, always pleasant and accomodating to our family group of seven adults. I would stay there again.
Our visit was during Christmas time/winter in Fez. We had some issues with heating in the Anbar suite.
