Place was very relaxing, decor fabulous and staff were really amazing went out of their way for us all the time.. This place is in centre of medina and is very good value for money. The terrace is a great place in evening very romantic.
Wifi could have been stronger in rooms upstairs but was good downstairs.
Excellent location, right in the heart of the medina but down a maze of alleys so you could hear a pin drop in the courtyard, very peaceful in the middle of the craziness ! Architecture , decor, cleanliness, friendliness/helpfulness of staff all 5 star Great value for money
"Pool" was an open air bath tub on the terrace Would be very difficult to find on your own, not a problem though as there are a lot young lads who hang around the taxi drop off points who show tourists to their riad for a euro or two, DEFINITELY worth the euro, you WONT find it on your own!
Everything. Felt very safe, wonderful advice regarding travel and sightseeing, extremely helpful staff, quiet location.
Nothing at all!
The riad is beautiful and we particularly liked the huge bath. The terrace was magic, the colours, the comfortable chairs, the plants and the little pool to cool down. The service was very good, we would recommend this place
The staff were fantastic, so helpful, especially the two night staff. The location was very good and it was a welcome retreat to arrive back at the beautiful Riad after the craziness of Marrakech!
We originally booked the most expensive suite with the beautiful vaulted ceiling however upon arrival asked to move due to a smell of mould and how open in was to the main reception area, we felt we had to wisper in our room. The second room on the first floor was much better and more privacy!
Peronnel was great and friendly. Hotel is well decorated. Worth every penny.
The location of the hotel is in the middle of medina where it is hard to find your way especially after 9:30pm. Eventhough it is safe to travel in marakkech you would fear of walking on the back street when it is dark.
Proximity to the centre
Very kind and helpful receptionist! Most amazing interior design of all riads, I've seen so far. Great mattress and cozy room.
Hard to find and not that recommended to head back late at night.
Beautiful Riad, very friendly and helpful hosts, great breakfast, beautiful terrace.
Superbly located. Quiet and relaxed atmosphere, nicely decorated. Good breakfast and service. A truly splendid option in Marrakesh with great value for money.
Friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast, nice Moroccan decor, amazing roof top, super clean.
Staff and owners very nice, everything perfect, including the riad navette from the airport.
Loved the decoration of the Riad and the location was amazing. It took us ten minutes to walk to the main square and 5 to the mosque and museum. The souks start 2 doors away so you can always just go out for a wander. The staff were incredibly friendly and although they didn't speak English through our poor French we managed to get through and they were always willing to help. Lots of places to sit either in sun or shade if you wanted a rest and our room was beautiful. Breakfast was good although heavy on the carbs. Maybe a little bit more fruit would be nice.
The bed was on the harder side for me but that's just my preference. The plunge pool wasn't filled during our stay but I am guessing they didn't expect people would want it on the cusp of spring and to be fair it was cool for Morocco just hot for us being from Newcastle. If we asked I suspect they would have filled it. All in all no real complaints and would definitely go back to both Marrakech and the Riad.
Everything was excellent! Service was 5* . Very clean and confortable.
The place to stay when visiting Marrakech. You can't go wrong with this location for the price. Everyone there was friendly and helpful. The front desk staff to the staff working at breakfast. They all were very, very nice and made our stay very pleasant. We would definitely stay here again.
It was perfect!!
Our stay was perfect, the staff were friendly, helpful and made us feel incredibly welcome. All the facilities were amazing and they made our stay perfect. Many thanks
Superb location, interesting decor, very nice ambience. If you're coming straight from the airport I'll highly recommend the pick-up by a staff member from the riad. It's impossible to find it on your own for the first time. Even going through medina on your own might be a challenge... Once you're there it's easy to find your way around. Fantastic location!
The staff was very friendly and willing to assist you in every need. The breakfast and dinner were incredibly tasteful. We've also booked a hamam & massage at the Riad, which was simple but very nice. Excellent value for money! Furthermore there are some great cafés and restaurants located nearby the Riad, and we thought the route to the main square (Jemaa El Fna) was relatively easy to find. Pay close attention, ask for a map with directions and you should be fine!
The Raid is lovely - clean and well maintained. The staff is helpful. B'fast was ok... we didn't try the other food though. Location is good - next to a significant landmark and a short walk from most of the 'sights' of the old town. On the whole - good value for money. Note that they have a caged African grey parrot and two cats who roam around the premises... just in case that is a problem for you. It wasn't for us.
Not particularly easy to communicate with the staff if you do not speak Arabic or French.
it's very beautiful hotel!
Lovely small riad, the breakfasts were wonderful, riad was nicely decorated and staff were friendly. Good location, not far from the main square and very safe. However definitely ask for a transfer or for someone from the riad to meet you in town when you first arrive as with all riads in the medina, its tricky to find by yourself for the first time.
The atmostphere was very nice with a strong Moroccan flavor. The dinners were execllent, better than a restaurant and freshly prepared. The staff was friendly and helpful and the location was well located in the medina. Having the transportation from the train station to the raid was very helpful and neseccary.
We had booked Riad Ta'achchaqa and this has been confirmed by the Riad. After arriving we noticed a lot of difference with the photos but the bathroom was the same. So we thought they renovated and redecorated the Riad. At arrival we asked if this was the correct Riad and the personnel said yes. They also know our names. So we thought this is the Riad we've booked. But at the end of our stay I had to pay by credit card and therefor I had to go to another place, about 100 meters through the alley. After arriving there it appears that we never stayed in Riad Ta'achchaqa but in a dependance, but they wanted us to pay for a 4* Riad which obviously wasn't!! We felt very misguided that they didn't inform us on forehand and that they acted we were staying at Ta'achchaqa but actually we didn't!! So if you book this Riad make sure you in the right Riad and not in the dependance called Assala.
