Located in Marrakech Medina, Riad Bab Agnaou offers a hot tub, terrace and traditional Moroccan lounge. Jemaa El Fna Square is a 10-minute walk away.

Score from 85 reviews Good
Hospitality of personnel Very nice breakfast Clean and quite Very good located in medina
Everything, nothing was too much trouble, kind, gentle staff and, if course Akdo the parrot. Amazing bathtub, like a swimming pool, bliss! :)
very kind staff
A bit difficult to find in the center.
It´s very calm and reposing, with some green plants in the court yard, everything is made to feel good. The people who work there are very friendly and helpful. There is a parrot who sings sometimes especially when he has no public. But no problems for the night, he needs to rest as well. The room is surprising at first but it's beautiful and the bathroom is authentic. It's located very close to the souks so it's quick to join the place Jamaa El Fnaa. We had good moments.
The pool is close the winter even if it's not so cold. You need to pay for the hammam.
The riad is beautiful building, a place of tranquility after the mayhem of the medina. The staff are wonderful and most helpful. The breakfast was delightful.
The only very minor negative was that hot water was a bit random.
Wonderful staff and authentic feeling of the property.
Location was great, close to the souks, yet as soon as you stepped inside the Riad it was so quiet and calm. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fresh and tasty. A beautiful riad with authentic decor. Once you have your bearings it is quite easy to find too. As with most places in Marrakesh, make sure you know your basic French.
Very friendly staff who were very accommodating Amazing breakfast Lovely roof terrace with small pool to cool down Great location, however need to request to be shown on first visit - lots of winding alleys Ginger cat Very secure and safe Riad Felt at home
Wifi only strong on ground floor however not major problem
Bed very hard
The staff are unbelievable, extremely friendly caring people. The food was great as well as the quality of sleep, very quiet. The hammam lady who did the massages was great.
Wi-Fi wouldn't work in our room. Our shower had no head, it was like standing underneath a garden hose.
Room was excellent Place looked great People were very nice Food was good Must like cats which I do! Would stay again!
No signes for the place anywhere. Only manager speaks English but is rarely there. The down stairs rooms are not very private but the decor make up for that!
Place was very relaxing, decor fabulous and staff were really amazing went out of their way for us all the time.. This place is in centre of medina and is very good value for money. The terrace is a great place in evening very romantic.
Wifi could have been stronger in rooms upstairs but was good downstairs.
Excellent location, right in the heart of the medina but down a maze of alleys so you could hear a pin drop in the courtyard, very peaceful in the middle of the craziness ! Architecture , decor, cleanliness, friendliness/helpfulness of staff all 5 star Great value for money
"Pool" was an open air bath tub on the terrace Would be very difficult to find on your own, not a problem though as there are a lot young lads who hang around the taxi drop off points who show tourists to their riad for a euro or two, DEFINITELY worth the euro, you WONT find it on your own!
Everything. Felt very safe, wonderful advice regarding travel and sightseeing, extremely helpful staff, quiet location.
Nothing at all!
The riad is beautiful and we particularly liked the huge bath. The terrace was magic, the colours, the comfortable chairs, the plants and the little pool to cool down. The service was very good, we would recommend this place
The staff were fantastic, so helpful, especially the two night staff. The location was very good and it was a welcome retreat to arrive back at the beautiful Riad after the craziness of Marrakech!
We originally booked the most expensive suite with the beautiful vaulted ceiling however upon arrival asked to move due to a smell of mould and how open in was to the main reception area, we felt we had to wisper in our room. The second room on the first floor was much better and more privacy!
Peronnel was great and friendly. Hotel is well decorated. Worth every penny.
The location of the hotel is in the middle of medina where it is hard to find your way especially after 9:30pm. Eventhough it is safe to travel in marakkech you would fear of walking on the back street when it is dark.
Proximity to the centre
Very kind and helpful receptionist! Most amazing interior design of all riads, I've seen so far. Great mattress and cozy room.
Hard to find and not that recommended to head back late at night.
Beautiful Riad, very friendly and helpful hosts, great breakfast, beautiful terrace.
Superbly located. Quiet and relaxed atmosphere, nicely decorated. Good breakfast and service. A truly splendid option in Marrakesh with great value for money.
Friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast, nice Moroccan decor, amazing roof top, super clean.
Staff and owners very nice, everything perfect, including the riad navette from the airport.
Loved the decoration of the Riad and the location was amazing. It took us ten minutes to walk to the main square and 5 to the mosque and museum. The souks start 2 doors away so you can always just go out for a wander. The staff were incredibly friendly and although they didn't speak English through our poor French we managed to get through and they were always willing to help. Lots of places to sit either in sun or shade if you wanted a rest and our room was beautiful. Breakfast was good although heavy on the carbs. Maybe a little bit more fruit would be nice.
The bed was on the harder side for me but that's just my preference. The plunge pool wasn't filled during our stay but I am guessing they didn't expect people would want it on the cusp of spring and to be fair it was cool for Morocco just hot for us being from Newcastle. If we asked I suspect they would have filled it. All in all no real complaints and would definitely go back to both Marrakech and the Riad.
Everything was excellent! Service was 5* . Very clean and confortable.
