Score from 89 reviews Very good
We had an amazing time at Riad Tahili. Perfect location, wonderful staff, lovely breakfast and smart rooms.
Perfect location, just within the city wall, 10 mins walk to the main square. Staff were great, booking restaurants and trips for us. Riad is beautiful, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely especially when eaten on the roof top terrace.
Not really an issue, but the rooftop jaccuzi was a little difficult to get in and out of.
The moment we walked in the door they sat us in the air conditioned dining room (a great break from the July heat) and offered us tea and moroccan pastries. Our room was spotless, sheets and towels were clean and the bed was so comfortable! There were also his and hers robes in the room which was a nice touch. Staff was helpful whenever you needed help or advice on where to go. The breakfast is incredible! Load up and you won't be hungry until dinner time.
The only thing I wish was improved is the wifi. Not sure if it was just our room or not but we had a weak signal.
Top floor for breakfast and sunbathing Hammam and massage Friendly staff Nice shower/room Really close to the souks
Couldn't turn of the aircon in our room so woke up cold in the night! [even though it was august...]
Cute little place, extremely clean. The hospitality of the staff was out of this world. They would do everything to accommodate your needs.
The staff. Wifi connectivity. Location. Cleanliness. Rooftop.
The Riad is close to the main square where feasts are made and is the hub of activity in the Old Town. Mohammed the manager like all the staff are helpful, polite, friendly and go out of their way to assist in any way. We booked through Mohammed to be collected and returned to the airport for €30 which was hassle free. The driver was there waiting as promised and he was very polite and informative. From the time we arrived to the time we left we were welcomed and made to feel at home. The Riad was so lovely and comfortable with a great shower. It was very clean and a haven after walking for hours site seeing. I would defiantly recommend it and like all the previous reviews it is a great place to stay. Wifi was good in the room which was fine for us. The jacuzzi on the sun terrace was fantastic to relax in and massaged your aching feet. We also had our breakfast on the roof terrace every morning. It was sweet as pastries and cake is an unusual start of our day, but the mint tea and orange juice was welcomed and very refreshing. If you need any help or maps of places to visit then Mohammed is your man, he even put arrows on the map so you knew which direction to go. In the Souqs this is a god send, one word follow the blue signs to Djemmaa El-FNA square otherwise you get lost in the covered market. A fantastic 4 day break which I would recommend to anyone, if you can speak French a bonus.
Be wearing of people who say they are not guides but are and pester you for money. Also the henna ladies who just grab your hand and start tattooing it.
The oasis of calm and beauty, the level of service and attentiveness, the facilities in the room, the rooftop jacuzzi and sunbeds, the location - only a few minutes walk from the main square, the ability to drive to the front door, free wifi.
Stepping outside the front door into the utter chaos that is Marrakech
Marrakech is a stressful city and the Tahili & Spa Riad is very peaceful. It is close to the main square and to the Saadian Tombs. The bed was very confortable and the staff extremely friendly. It was a very good choice.
Proximity to where it was "all happening";in Marrakesh's main square;the souqs by day and food stalls and entertainment by night. Was situated at a safe walk distance to and from the Riad. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Riad soft furnishings and decor were tastefully done; linen excellent and bed very comfortable.
We felt that minor maintenance issues ,like blown light bulbs, the unusable room safe , power point connections not secure in wall position ;doors ,with locking/unlocking problems, plus unhooked drapes, just detracted from the overall presentation...the pool needed vacuuming .
Faultless ,location 4 mins from main square but also so quite and peaceful ,great roof terrace and staff so helpful a real gem of a Riad !
From start to finish we were looked after really well. Nothing was to much trouble when we needed something. Comfortable, modern, clean, quiet. Rooftop was beautiful. Rooms were spacious.
Beautiful sun terrace
Towel rail hanging off in bathroom. Hairdyer outlet insecure and would not hold plug.
That I could not stay more days.
Location, and the rooms were a pleasing aesthetic and clean and comfortable, magnifique!
It was the first time that me and my boyfriend went to Marrakech, and after the amazing time we had we are coming back for sure! The Riad have an amazing decoration, the rooms are extremely clean and they always pay attention to all the little details. We also had free breakfast every morning at the terrace and to be honest we really miss that now, at our home. About location, it was only 2 minutes away from the Djemaa El Fna square, so it was very easy for us to explore without getting lost. What made our stay even more special was the staff, all of them, extremely nice and always ready to help. The last day we decided to try the Spa, and let me tell you that it was the best massage ever, and after that we even had some mint tea waiting for us, really nice! We totally recommend this place, and we are coming back soon with more of the family.
Staff were extremely polite and helpful, always smiling. Room comfortable and clean, great shower. Good breakfast and lovely service when anything ordered eg drinks, evening meals. Rooftop whirlpool very nice indeed, although could do with bit extra cleaning but hard when on the roof as always insects falling in. Breakfast waiter is truly lovely, such a genuine smile. Manager Mohammed very knowledgable and always keen to ensure you are having a nice time and have all you could need
Only minor thing is that any extras you order are put on your room tab to be paid at the end. Be sure they know your room and heck regularly what is on your tab as we were charged for someone elses drinks, I don't think this was a con I think it was a gnuine error that they put it on the wrong room tab.
A very very clean, well maintained Riad with a great ambience. It's only 5 mins walk to the big square, yet it's very quiet and you can 'escape the madness' if you like. Breakfast on the rooftop is great and you can even jump in the jacuzzi if you want. You can enjoy a drink on the rooftop and hear the noise from the square and see the sky turns red from the sunset!! But the most positive thing about this all are the people who work there: Mohammed, Karima, Mehdi and everybody else are great and willing to help with everythng. I would definitely recommend this Riad to everybody! For me one of the highlights of Marrakech
Not a complaint, more an advise: not to book the trip to Ourikka valley via the Riad. Via the Riad it's more expensive and the agency that is responsible for the trips has a driver that is not very friendly. But this has nothing to do with the Riad itself, it's more the agency they work with.
Beautiful Riad with modern rooms in a brilliant location. Mohamed the manager could not have been more helpful or friendly.
Mohammed and the other staff were excellent from the minute we walked into the riad to the minute we left. He gave us a very warm welcome & then printed off maps for us, recommended restaurants & places to visit and booked a couple of tours for us. The rest of the staff were in the background but there when you wanted them to be which was great. The riad itself is beautiful inside, we had the Jasmine Suite on the first floor and it was one of the loveliest rooms we have ever stayed in (wonderful shower as well). The jacuzzi & sunbathing area on the top deck is lovely and the perfect place to start your day. We cannot recommend this place enough- its close to the Jamaa El Fnaa square so easy to get around and is in a very quiet backstreet so very little noise.
We enjoyed our stay here so much and there was hardly anything we didn't like... If there was going to be anything, I would say it would be nice to have a fridge in the room- however, they do provide cold bottled water every day. We would like to have bought some juice and bring it back to the room. Also (and only because my husband likes a cuppa when he wakes up) it would be nice to have a kettle in the room.
Calm and spacious, friendly and helpful, very clean and lovely beds, delightful roof terrace for breakfast.
The Riad was perfect, loved everything about it. The manager was very helpful and all the staff very friendly. Would highly recommend!
Wifi wasn't great but that's not why you go on holiday.
Loved the open spaces, the terrace was so relaxing and beautiful. Our room was super light and had double curtains (so I assume they must of acted on previous feedback of them being too thin!). Very relaxing.
Service for drinks was quite slow (a bonus that they sold alcohol though) and wine was pretty expensive, although slow service and expensive wine is just part of being in Morocco- nothing seems to be done in a hurry! Lovely staff though.
Chic styling, outstanding attention to detail, extremely helpful beyond expectation...it was exceptional in so many ways
What ever u expect u get & more cant fault it thanks to all ever ready ever helpful team headed by Mohammed under discreet watchful eye of the proprieters. Continue the good work good point for tourism in Morocco R.radi
