Riad Tawanza

Tiny riyad full of charm, really authentic with a peaceful atmosphere and a very efficient and welcoming staff. A lovely experience.

Very difficult to find a taxi close to the Riyad.

The Riad is a welcome sanctuary right in the heart of the Medina.The plunge pool was a real bonus, The staff were very helpful. Breakfast was a bit basic but fresh.The roof terrace was good to sit in in the evenings

We would never have found it without Amina picking us up.Once there we could memorize the way but I would advise anyone to get help from the Riad the first time.

Riad très joliment décoré avec piscine et végétation, un havre de fraîcheur ds la médina. Cuisine d Amina excellente. Terrasse donnant sur la ville magnifique. Et enfin excellent confort (literie).

il Riad è nel cuore della Medina, quindi inserito nel pieno centro storico di Marrakech. L'ambiente è molto curato, e le stanze sono tutte molto caratteristiche e confortevoli. Sicuramente utili d'estate, sono la piccola piscina centrale,e la terrazza. Anima, la gestrice, è davvero sempre disponibile e molto cordiale; è lei che fa la verà differenza, e ti consiglia bene su ristoranti, escursioni, ecc. Ti accompagna ovunque nella Medina, che ovviamente conosce come le sue tasche.

Di negativo c'è ben poco. L'acqua calda non sempre è bollente, e la temperatura della stanza alle volte è un pò bassa, ma questi aspetti non sono da considerare se non nei giorni più freddi dell'anno. Il riad è difficilissimo da trovare la prima volta, ma un qualsiasi ragazzo ve lo indicherà per pochi spiccioli. Unica vera pecca, la non possibilità di pagare con carta di credito.

Tiene una excelente decoración, muy buena limpieza y una amabilidad y atención por la gente que lo regenta excepcional. Te hace sentir muy comodo y como en casa, de volver repetiría; lo único que no me gusto es el acceso al Riad ya que es complicado en un primer momento y de difícil acceso.

L'accueil et la gentillesse d'Amina qui s'est occupé de nous pour nous rendre la vie facile et agréble. Le décor somptueux du Riad, avec la piscine rafraîchissante et la terrasse au soleil.

L'hospitalité d'Amina et de Siam, toujours aux petits soins pour vous. La propreté du Riad. La piscine. Le décor et l'aménagement du Riad. La chambre (cannelle) et sa salle de bain avec baignoire.

Bien que ce Riad soit proche de la perfection, il y a une petite fausse note c'est le manque de provisions d'avance pour les boissons et la nourriture, notre hôte est obligée à chaque souhait de la clientèle d'aller faire des achats.

Il giardino interno

Il riad e' situato nella Medina in una posizione un po' scomoda il parcheggio descritto sulla cartina e' molto piccolo e difficile da trovare, il riad e' piccolo e per arrivarci abbiamo fatto fatica ....l'Interno e' carino specialmente il giardino e la piccola piscina , non lo consiglio per chi ha bambini ,l'hammam descritto si trova sopra il terrazzo ed e' uno sgabuzzino.....le camere sono provviste di condizionatore....ma non riesco a capire perche' non sono dotate di frigo.....noi siamo arrivati a Marrakesh con un caldo infernale da seccarti la bocca ,ed eravamo costretti a comprare acqua fuori dalla struttura . La signora Amina e Siam sono le persone che gestiscono il riad sono gentili ,ma noi siamo arrivati nel periodo di ramadan quindi non potevamo pretendere tanto,per la mia esperienza consigli il riad in altri mesi ...comunque sempre un esperienza da vivere

Es un hotel muy bonito y acogedor , muy limpio y confortable. Amina (la responsalbe) y su compañera son muy hospitalarias. Nos recibieron con un te y pastitas. Luego nos acompañaron a dar una vuelta por las calles para enseñarnos el camino a casa y la ruta más sencilla. De todos los riads en los que hemos estado, éste es el más bonito sin duda.

The staff at Riad Tawanza are absolutely amazing and do anything for you. They look after you throughout from choosing your breakfast in the morning, to helping you with excursions and making sure you dont get ripped off in the medina and the souks - simply cannot be bettered by anywhere else I've been to.

The reason we were not too impressed with the Riad is that the owner is not very nice. Our room had a couple of problems with the shower drainage and we asked for some assistance via email. The ladies at the Riad fixed everything for us very quickly but I asked for some money to be reduced from our bill as I felt not having a nice comfortable shower each day reduced my enjoyment of the trip. I needed to email her directly as the housekeeper of the Riad has no influence over this. I am still waiting for a response from her regarding this issue and I am now sitting back in London. Based on this, I have to say it wasnt the best experience overall.
