I really enjoyed my stay at Riad Tizwa; the location is ideal for the north Medina, the rooms are spacious and beautiful, and the free breakfasts were delicious (and large!)
My bed was oddly sloped, and when we arrived there was some confusion over our booking.
Nice large rooms and nice bathrooms. Lovely courtyard. Great breakfast. Helpful staff.
Rooms boiling hot on arrival because no air conditioning switched on (around 40 degrees outside and very hot in room with no window and no air conditioning on. Air conditioning was fair to moderate after a while, when switched on and left to run all day. Also : I was quoted a price in £ sterling whilst booking and deciding. However, when I had prepared to pay in local currency after getting cash ready and doing calculations based on the daily rate, I was then told I should pay in euros, or the exchange rate from the euro. This meant that I had a shortfall of about £40.00. I was very surprised and taken aback. I could not access my original Booking.com information on my mobile phone and no option but to pay up. The staff were rather argumentative and emotional at this point.
The central location and the excellent attention to our needs by Hassan who helped us find our way around, ordered taxis, bought bus tickets and generally was a delight. Excellent breakfast, attention to detail such as bathroom inclusions - all locally sourced. Relaxed atmosphere and easy access to a quiet space. Greenery
The guide found for us by Riad Tizwa (don't know his name) - we should have made our requirements very plain before we began our tour of the medina! No shopping!!!! More history.
The staff was absolutely amazing. My boyfriend and I chatted with the owner for a bit and he was so helpful and accomodating to our needs. They also pay attention to the little details, coffee in front of your door in the morning and fresh flowers throughout the riad. Loved our experience
The staff, Muhammad and Hasan offered excellent customer service. They were really helpful and helped me to feel so welcomed in Marrakech. They answered my questions and even helped me to purchase items much cheaper than I could have received them in the Souq.
Fabulous design combining modern stylish elegance with traditional riad architecture. Comfortable, friendly and quiet location close to souks and centre
Hassan very helpful, wifi excellent. Genuine Morroccan experience. Great to retreat to in middle of day. Roof top terrace lovely
Excellent staff, Hassan made us feel very welcome and that nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast on the roof terrace was excellent. Our room was comfortable and well equipped. The riad is very attractive. Good service to and from the airport.
We liked it all!
Staff we're very friendly and helpful. Flask of coffee in the morning much appreciated. Breakfasts were lovely.
Charming, responsive, beautiful. Loved the details, and the design.
Relative to some other places, the main courtyard was a bit plain - but the rooms were really nice and the service was thoughtful and personal.
Excellent place for a stay in Marrakech, all sites, souks and square within easy walking distance, most generous hospitality, very clean rooms, perfect breakfast
We had dinner in the riad but this was not up the standard of the rest of the stay, large portions but poor quality and cold.
The whole experience at the Riad was excellent. I would highly recommend this Riad. Respectfully Andre D.
A beautiful riad, tastefully decorated and well appointed with delicious luxuries like home-made rosewater soap. The staff were excellent and welcoming. It is a dlightful retreat in a great location.
Nothing about the riad - it was a luxurious stay.
The room and staff were excellent. Breakfast and dinner are both very tasty. The Riad is pretty and a oases of peace and quiet in the middle of a busy and noisy city.
The final payment process could be a bit smoother.
