Where to start? The Riad itself was an oasis of tranquility even though it is situated in the Medina, just far enough out of the tourist bustle but giving the feeling of the real Marrakech. The staff, particularly Isabel and Sanaa could not do enough, were very informative and made us feel comfortable and at home, just like a home from home. Getting around was easy even through the souks although we experienced the inevitable losing our way, just part of the experience! Coming back to the Riad in the late afternoon was a joy, sitting on the the roof terrace watching the sun set, the sky changing colour with a lovely bottle of Morrocan wine (the Gris is delightful), and with the prospect of a lovely home cooked meal in the evening. Would we visit again, most certainly.

Warm, welcoming and hospitable french couple who clearly love their Riad and job. The atmosphere they create and the amazing cuisine made the trip for me. Would highly recommend Riad vert; as stated on other reviews a hidden sanctuary in the city with lovely roof top terrace and beautiful courtyard.

Beautifully kept traditional riad with greenery in the main hall to take the edge off the somewhat smoggy city surrounds. Fresh peppermint tea on arrival :) Excellent and courteous staff always going the extra mile to ensure that my stay in Marrakech was a memorable one - be it making bookings for taxis, hamman or hairdressers or just providing information about Morocco in general - bravo! Impeccable cuisine at an affordable price - I recommend eating in at the Riad at least one night! Fast internet connection! I was very sad to leave and look forward to booking again in the not too distant future.

The owners of Riad Vert are the key to the experience. Their hospitality, valuable information and casual conversation made for a very enjoyable experience. The Riad itself is cool, understated, stylish and comfortable. We had a great time. Rooms are designed to be cool in the heat of the summer. However in December they were a little cold in the night.

Isabel, the owner, was really friendly and helpful and so was Sana who everyday took care of us and gave also helpful informations. The 3 other members of the staff were quite invisible but very polite. When we arrived, at night, we got a previous arranged dinner that was one of the best meals we had during our stay (and we went to several good restaurants in Marrakech). The Riad is very beautiful and although not too rich in its architecture as others (some very pretentious), is very sober with a simple decoration of good taste. The perfect quiet place to get after the frenetic city walk. The breakfast has great products but is not sufficiently varied as one would expect in Morocco.

Riad Vert is something special. From the outside you don´t realize that a paradise is expecting you. The rooms are authentic, clean and decoratet with beautiful furnitures and details. Pure candy for people who appreciates the aesthetic. The Riad has a beautiful big terrace with nice sun chairs and a cool lounge area in the shadow. Riad Vert is placed in the heart of the old Medina with a walking distance to the bazar and Grand Place. The staff at the Riad is wonderful and caring – helping us in any way and made sure that our stay would be the best ever … not to mention the absolutely firstclass meals – traditionel Moroccan - which was served in a charming and delighted way. 1 week of adventure – not only on the trips also at the Riad!

Roof terrace, friendly staff, food Approx 20 min walk from the main square, on which you are likely to receive unwanted attention along the way. (Recommend a taxi) Meals are good but not cheap Luxury/superior room is again good but I would not call it luxury, not bad for for the price though
