Fabulous, warm welcome - we got lost and Abdul fetched us. Great breakfast, wonderful decor, an oasis of calm... and storks nesting next to the terrace, a real sight in the morning. Wonderful looking menu but need to order the day before.
None of the taxi drivers we approached knew where the street was.
Lovely place to stay, very friendly and helpful staff, Step through the door from the madness and chaos that is Marrakesh a lovely spot of calm and tranquillity. an excellent choice for anyone wanting a base near the heart of Marrakesh, but also far enough out of it to be able to shut off. Rooftop breakfast watching the Storks was idyllic and a cold beer on the terrace in the afternoon was just what the doctor ordered.
A small pool would have been the icing on the cake, but then the that is reflected in the price, so not a criticism
There are lovely outdoor spaces and terraces. The owner Kathryn was very nice, and went out of her way to answer questions. Very homey and comfortable. We booked one night but stayed for 3.
The alley way to arrive is a bit intimidating at night. More signage in the alleyway would be helpful.
Price and friendly staff.
Location a bit hard to access.
I liked being close to the Badia and the Bahia Palaces and the Tiskiwin Museum. You can easily walk to the Jemma el fna, the huge plaza. Katrina, the owner, went out of her way to help us book a room in another town.
it was not far from place jamaa el fna, close the the saadians tombs
in the standard bathroom there isn't the door of the bathroom, in the morning there's a maid working, but in the evening it's not very simple to find someone in case of needs, in a close way a little scary at first
Clean, cheap, and very well kept. The staff was great too.
We booked a "Traditional" room- not knowing it did not have AC. You MUST have AC in Marrakech. Also, the road is a 15-20 minute walk to the city center. To get to the city, you must traverse a (smelly) vegetable market, trinket shops, and a bust intersection.
Breakfast was nice The owner Katherine was friendly
The rooms were not leaned as well
