Riad Villa Wenge

Kein eigender Schlüssel für die Riad was uns echt gestört hat, man mußste sich immer Anmelden bzw. Klingeln und fühlte sich dadurch beobachtet. Frühstück ist nicht gerade Abwechslungsreich und doch eher sehr dürftig.Schwierig zu finden und abends doch eher was für mutige in den dunklen abseits gelegenden Gängen.Wasser ist sehr sehr Chlorhaltig. Was uns auch sehr stark irritiert hat ist das das Personal die teuerste Suite bewohnt hat und es sich recht gut darin gehen lassen hat. Sowas haben wir bisher in unseren Riadaufenthalten in Marokko noch nicht erlebt.

Hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Lage toll, Hotel sehr schön, Service sehr freundlich! Eine Oase der Ruhe im hektischem Marrakesch

Nettes Ambiente. Die Hotelmitarbeiter sind sehr bemüht. Da es nachts relativ kalt war, wurden Heizstrahler in den Zimmern aufgestellt.Das Riad liegt mitten in den Souks und ist insgesamt auch zum "Platz" zentral gelegen.Transfers haben reibungslos geklappt.

Wenn überhaupt kann man anführen, dass es für unsere Verhältnisse etwas ungewöhnlich ist, wenn es keinen abgeschlossenen Bad/WC-Bereich gibt. Für Marrakesch ist das aber normal.

The staff, their helpfulness, location of the Riad, and the coffee!

The room was very clean and the staff was really helpful and nice. The breakfast was delicious. The terrace is fantastic and something special.

It wasn`t that easy to find the hotel in the middle of the Bazaar and had to pay for local people to help us out. The bedroom was just seperated with a wall from the toilet and not with a proper door.

The Riad is immaculate, has sleek modern styling with a Moroccan flavour, and large rooms. Bathroom was spacious and very clean. The Riad is less than 10 minutes to the bustle of Jemaa El Fna, and is also well placed for the souks and spice market. Despite the noisy surroundings, as soon as you get onto the side street, you are into quiet streets again and you could almost believe you aren't in Marrakech. Staff were great, very helpful and could point you in the direction of some good things to see. Practice your French though, English was a struggle. All in all, our Marrakech stay was made all the more memorable by our stay at Villa Wenge. Would definitely recommend to others.

The staff was excellent. I felt safe at the hotel and it was exactly as described on the internet.

Staff were very helpful and tried very hard to communicate with us (despite our lack of French). The location was very close to the centre of the medina and felt quite safe.

A very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the Medina.

Beautiful, contemporary riad in a great location just of the main square so great for shopping in the Souks and as a base for exploring all of Marrakech. We loved the little touches and attention to detail. Breakfast was lovely too and got us off to a good start for the day.

It felt a little dubious walking down the little back alleys to get to the riad which were very dark at night but we didn't feel unsafe at all.

This riad was not only spotless clean but beautiful! It was a 2 minute walk to the famous Jeema el fna, but yet it was a peaceful stay from all the noise of the square. The staff were attentive and helped book tours/ dinners. Breakfast was served whenever you were ready to eat, and was actually pretty tasty. Great terrace for tanning... I highly recommend staying here!

The riad would be very hard to find for the first time alone because of the confusing little streets... But the hotel offers airport transfer which I would recommend for arrival.

Very central location, just a few minutes walk from the main square. Beautifully decorated, and very modern. Lovely roof top garden, with really comfy beds. This place is like a little oasis, and I would highly recommend it. Staff were lovely, and arranged a taxi for us to the airport.

Was a bit difficult to find, but the locals were very helpful in helping us to locate it. Sound travels very easily here as the rooms have shutter doors.
