Riad Villa Wenge

The staff were absolutely wonderful and accommodating. They were happy to fulfil any request and nothing was too much. They always had smiles on their face and greeted us upon coming and going. The actual rooms (villa suite wenge) was absolutely beautiful and clean. So close to the Jemaa el Fnaa Square and little 'shops'. Absolutely HIGHLY recommend.

I do recommend to have a bit signs down the side streets to direct tourists how to get to your hotel as at night it can get very confusing.

Great little modern Riad right in the heart of Marrakech, the location is absolutely perfect for the square though don't freak out on your first visit when you head down some dark windy alleys its absolutely fine and the way to the entrance! Food and welcome was great especially as most if not all the staff speak good English. We had the Orange room which was compact but more than comfortable, internal courtyard smartly kitted out and roof terrace very comfortable even though you cant see much off it - trust me you will be too busy to spend much time there anyway! Overall lovely, modern and comfortable Riad with great staff and good food. Great base for exploring the centre of the city, price we paid was excellent and would definitely go back.

Only down side was that the Orange room and I guess some of the other small rooms are on the downstairs level where guests sit to eat and drink, just means you have to be a little quiet and courteous during meal times etc

All the staff were very pleasant and helpful and the cook was amazing. I can't remember when we last had such a delicious meal. The hotel was spotless and relaxing and very conveniently situated. Would recommend using their airport/hotel transfer especially for first time visitors to Marrakech.

The bathtub was very slippery and could have done with some hand holds and it was difficult to use the shower without spraying the room.

Very Nice Riad in the centre of the medina. Hold in a very modern style for a change. Staff was friendly and the service was excellent. The room are within the best one can get for this money.

Hospitality right from the entrance. The young gentleman Adil was so helpful and friendly and really amde us feel as if we were entering his home rather than a hotel. The owner who was present as well was soo accomodating and caring and provided such warm hospitality as well. We loved the design of the hotel and the location was amazing. Literally 5 min walk to the main square j'maa el fnaa. It was down a winding road but what isn't in Marrakech. I would definitely recommend this stay and will look forward to coming back if we are in Marrakech again

Fabulous location in the middle of the Medina.Moden interior. We stayed in spotlessly clean,red twin bedroom on the 1st floor.Polite& friendly staff.Lovely,French breakfast.

A haven of peace. Spotlessly clean and the most helpful staff. The bathroom in the Red Twin Room was fabulous. State of the art facilities and nice toiletries provided. The crockery etc at breakfast was beautiful. Air con in room wasn´t terribly effective.

I don´t want to put anything negative but I have to agree with others that the only bad thing is the location. It is impossible to find and once locals (kids mainly) try to help you they menace you for money and steal from you. I don´t know how to resolve the problem as once you get going down the alleyways of the medina you are completely lost!!!!

The Riad Villa Wenge is absolutely beautiful. This is definitely one of the most comfortable and relaxing hotels I have ever stayed in. I booked the biggest room/suite in the Riad so it was pure luxury and I think it was money well spent. Everything in my room (from my massive four postered bed to the equally massive bath tub) was just sheer bliss. The location is really good too as the Riad is located in the heart of Marrakech Medina and less than 5 minutes walk from Jemaa el Fnaa Sqaure. Staff were extremely helpful too and even allowed me to check out late for free as my flight was late at night. The food served by Fatima the Riad's cook was incredibly tasty!

The riad echoes slightly so you will need to be aware of not making too much noise when you're in the public areas of the Riad in order not to disturb other residents staying there. Although the hotel information states that wi-fi is only available in public areas this is infact false as wi-fi was available from my room/suite so this is actually a bonus for residents.

The Riad is in a fantastic location and the staff is one of the friendliest I have every met, always ready to help with a smile. The breakfast is amazing! Great rooms, very comfortable beds, very quiet place to stay which is ideal after the chaos of the souks! Very clean rooms and the communal areas are relaxing and intimate. Over all, I cannot fault this little hidden gem. Will definitely come back!

Die zum Teil nicht schön ausgeführten, baulichen Arbeiten im Zimmer und Bad (Steckdosen, Verlegung der Fliesen, verkratzte Toilettenbrille).

Lo staff eccellente, la pulizia, la colazione, il silenzio, la vicinanza dal centro città.

Difficoltà a trovare il riad, mancanza teli e porte tra doccia, bagno e camera.

Het is hier echt geweldig. Iedereen in Villa Wenge zorgt ervoor, dat je het aan niets ontbreekt. Het transfer vanaf de luchthaven was echt prettig. Na aankomst krijg je heerlijke thee met lekkere koekjes. Na in de medina te zijn geweest, wordt je er heerlijk verwend. Op verzoek maken ze de heerlijkste gerechten. De ligging is ook echt super. Slechts een paar minuten vanaf het beroemde plein en als je terug bent is het een oase van rust, kortom echt een aanrader !!!!! Als we weer eens in Marrakech komen gaan we zeker weer hier overnachten.

Het kluisje was niet echt veilig, het stond los en was meer een geldkistje.

Los fabulosos desayunos en el patio. La amabilidad del personal en especial Hasam siempre atento a todo lo que necesitabamos.

La cena estaba muy buena pero solo esta el recepcionista para atenderte y si coincide con entrada de clientes nos tuvieron esperando bastante tiempo entre plato y plato.
