Wonderful location. The roof terrace overlooking the square was just magical. The staff were great - friendly and helpful.
Our room overlooked a busy road. A bit noisy, but ear plugs did the trick.
perfect location and efficient and friendly staff
pillows too large
Welcome was good and prompt. Room was comfortable. Riad was elegant and simple.
A very large group of very loud and noisy tourists at dinner made it a nightmare. No fun, romance or relaxation. When checking out we discovered that hotel does not accept credit cards and had to scrounge for an ATM to look for Dirhams to pay for dinner and wine. Nowhere does it say No Credit Cards.
Excellent location, the entrance is on a large square. We could park our car almost in front of the riad. Within the riad it is a heaven of peace, nicely decorated. We had a warm welcome that made us feel right at home. We had room 13 with a bed of more than 2 metres wide! Excellent wifi reception in the room. Breakfast was sufficient.
Nothing. Although, our room 13 can have one downside during the winter period. The room has a window on a busy street. Double windows keep the sound sufficiently outdoor. To sleep with open window when it is fresh, though, is not advisable.
- Loacation very close to Medina - Parking facilty - Good to find - They serve wine
Great location with parking nearby. Friendly staff.
Wifi weak in room
Friendly staff, very good location, walking distance to medina, easy to find especially if you are travelling by car. Clean rooms. Good food at the restaurant
No wifi at the room
Zeynep welcomed us at the reception and she was a great help. We loved everything in Riad Yacout.
Staff was ok. Dinners expensive but worth its price.
We found a cockroach in our room at the very beginning. Air conditioner was broken, water leaked and ran down the wall. At the same time the smell was not really pleasant. Everyday the same breakfast.. Definitely worst staying in Morocco.
The hotel is great point to explore both Meknas & Fez . offer great design , cleanness , friendly staff .. especially Noor El Deen , its so great.
swimming pool is not a swimming pool it's too small and can be used only for tan/coloring your body
We liked the position, just outside the medina and easy to find and to park the car. The room was very nice, clean and comfortable and of good size. The staff was very helpful.
The hammam was not so nice, the laundry was expensive. The sink of the toilette was splashing a lot of water on the floor.
- Amazing - very nice Riad! - Beautiful rooms and restaurant - Great location- very central! - Clean - Good quality rooms with TV and internet (we had a standard room)
The roof. The place. All.
Very helpful and attentive staff.
Nice location near main square in Meknes but faces away from chaos, staff were lovely (particularly Laila!).
YouTube video link provided makes riad seem much more glamorous than it really is!
Incredibly friendly staff, beautiful Riad in a great location. Wonderful food and rooms, I really can't recommend it highly enough. Rafi, North London
Staff, cleanliness, breakfast,
Room was nice and clean
Avoid the rooms facing the Medina, they are just above a main road with horrible traffic Atmosphere is a little impersonal Poor breakfast
Many foreign visitors to Meknes only stay for the day or for one night and so they miss the chance to settle in and explore and be part of the city. For travellers Riad Yacout is a good mix of being affordable, centrally located but with 5 star extras like the roof-top restaurant where we ate each night, the small plunge pool, the beautiful tile work and the ground floor ambiance of our breakfast room. The staff were very helpful and organised our driver to Volubilis. The town itself takes a bit more work to get inside as again, few tourists really explore the Medina - we were very fortunate to have one very helpful local as our paid guide. What is especially interesting is to take note of the many many columns and artifacts stolen from Volubilis and used by Moulay Ksmali in the early 18th century ton create the many palaces etc.
The rooms at the front are good as you have fresh air off the street, but the large square in front of the hotel is extremely active until around 10.30 each night, so it can be noisy. The pool looks more attractive than it really is, but it's not that we didnt appreciate it when the temperature was in the mid-30s, its just be aware it is a plunge pool not a swimming pool.Other than that a few minor comments on why have half glass door on the bathroom when there is a WC inside, its not pleasant for the other guest, but thats just a personal quibble.
Very nice place. Good staff
situated just outside the old madina very clean and friendly people beakfast was good rooms were clean and comfortable
no private parking available parked in public area but was safe
Beautiful Riad with modern rooms. Breakfast was served on the roof top with a great view over the medina. Friendly and helpful staff. Perfect location.
This is a lovely riad. The staff were attentive and helpful. The room was very comfortable and felt very traditional but with modern comforts. We ate in the restaurant which was very nice too,
Cleaning ladies were very friendly. I could learn some basic Arabic from them. Dinner on the roof top restaurant was cool and comfortable.
In my opinion, the waiter was somewhat rude. He served me as if he was my father. (perhaps, he was too busy to treat everybody friendly, I don't know)
Everything was perfect. Location is great and the staff is friendly. The rooftop is nice to enjoy the sun and the small pool to cool your feet.
