Ideally located, quiet location just off a main street. Lovely staff and nice breakfast on the rooftop terrace.

Like all riads, there is a lack of soundproofing. As we were staying on ground floor we heard everything going on in the public areas

hot water clean near to the square (but at the very end of the street)

I booked the Standard Double Room and it stated that there is air-conditioning. It turns out that they said that Standard Double Room was without air-conditioning! The management staff was not here and the door keeper called her. She didn't listen to us and insisted that the Standard Double Room had no air-conditioning and asked us to pay extra. So we had to stay in a room without air-conditioning in the hot-summer! She only arranged me the air-conditioning the day after. Also, she mistakenly wrote a wrong number on the receipt so I almost pay a higher charge, and I'm not sure if she was intended to treat or not. Please don't pay by card as well! The woman will translate it to dirham in which she used a very poor rate.

Very warm greeting with mint tea and biscuits. Beautiful interior. small but comfortable room with good double bed. Highlight for me was the roof terrace with the really cool tents and sunbed area overlooking the koutoubia mosque and having breakfast on the terrace.

We very much liked the comfort and informality of the riad. Nadira & Mohammed were both very helpful and accommodating. Loved hearing the "Call to Prayer" from up on the roof deck.

We did not care for the hard pillows on the bed, the luke warm coffee served at breakfast, or being charged 150 dh for a ride to the airport.

The in-house charges! Inflated rates for water and beer, as well as for the dinner we had (very good tagine, but nothing else besides a salad and fruit). The worst was that the woman at the desk was going to charge 150 dirhams to arrange a cab to the airport. It turned out that we still had to.lug our own bags. Instead we picked up a cab ourselves, without walking any further than we would have, and it cost under 20 dirham! We also felt very uncomfortable with the rapid conversions sHE made between euros and dirham. Always felt cheated. No receipt given for the in-house charges, even though we asked for one. Our wonderful Riad Marharba in Rabat gave us mint tea all day long and never asked for extra fees.

Small and quiet, with nice facility and care taking staff. Very close to the big square, Djama el-Fna. Value for money.

    Breakfast could be more exiting.

Staff is really friendly! it's just 5min to the place and in the middle of one Souk. It is relaxing and very plaisant to stay there.

Kind, friendly and helpful staff, nicely decorated, colourful rooms, great location.

No hot water, got better facilities at places we paid half the price for, extremely badly sound proofed and there was a window in the bathroom that people could see through from the reception area, not a very impressive breakfast for the price we paid.

Said was an extremely friendly and helpful host. He really went out of his way to make sure everything was organised for us. The vegetarian continental style breakfast of pancakes etc was good. The room was well appointed and the shower was really powerful. The location is also first class as it is a short walk to Jamaa El-Fna

There is nothing not to like!

Exceptionally friendly and accommodating staff. The breakfast was simple yet delicious: fresh-squeezed OJ, yogurt, bread and jam and a delicious Moroccan crepe. PERFECT Location! Minutes from the main square, easy to navigate and safe-feeling.

Everything was perfect! I WISH we would have done the massage too -- hadn't noticed the price list until we were leaving -- very inexpensive!

Beautiful riad with a friendly staff. Really comfortable sanctuary amidst chaos in the medina.

The location is tough. It's hard to find (although the staff is willing to meet you at the train station or main square and bring you). You have to pass through a lot of crowds to get there and it's unsafe feeling at night, especially if you are a woman traveling alone.

Great location, Easy to find, Roof terrace was lovely for views and sitting in the sun. Staff helpful with maps and information.

Room decor could be improved it needed upgrading. It would have been nice to have a bedside light and some hangars to hang clothes up with. And a yoghurt for breakfast otherwise it was all carbohydrate bread and pancake.although this is traditional moroccan.

Location is very good, and friendly staff can advise you were to go and can lend you a good quality map.

Very expensive for what you get, we paid 70 euro for superior double, which in my opinion shouldn't be more than 40 euro. Also breakfast is so pitiful, one tiny crepe, bread and jam and only 1 cup of coffee is allowed!

The spacial hallway (reception). At the top there is a dome-like ceiling which can be opened to let the sunshine in. The rooms are big and in morocco style, so one has a great feeling of being somewhere else. On the top there is a terrace with deckchairs, where you can take a sunbath or two. The breakfast is excellent, served in a beautiful guest room. Hosts are cool and friendly.

It can be tricky to find this hotel, especially when pressed for time, but the host is really helpful, so this shouldn't be a real problem.

Close to market central if that's what you want. They organised my pickup from bus stop, I was an hour late & they called me to make sure I was still coming. Taxi waited for me. Room was great, bathtub huge & plenty hot water to fill it :) front desk were very helpful with directions & info on places to visit. I was greeted with a mint tea :)

Felt a little rushed to get out of there. Not a very warm environment.

    1. Weather, liveliness, friendly people 2. Riad arranged the Dinner & Transportation from Airport. Our flight was delayed by 5hrs so with 2 young kids it was blessing to get straight to Riad and have Dinner. 3. Riad arranged for trip to Atlas Mountains

    1. Fewer people speaking English, so we did struggle a bit at times.

The first night in Marrakech can be daunting. The Riad had arranged for a taxi to collect us at the airport, but our driver was, unfortunately, 20 mins late (and our flight 20 mins early) leaving us to wonder if we had already been scammed before even setting foot in the country! Fortunately our driver arrived and after about a 20 minute drive dropped us off in a side street in the city where we were met by someone from the Riad. He lead us through a maze of dark alleyways while we took stock of our lives to date, hid our phones in our pants and prepared for the inevitable mugging. Happily, the mugging never came and at the end of a narrow alley our guide opened the door to this wonderful Riad where we were greeted by Said, the owner. We explained to Said that we had no cash on us, and asked if he could direct us to a cash machine. To our surprise he happily said we could pay the next day, and even offered to loan us some money to go out for dinner! We were then treated to some mint tea and shown to our room. The rooms are exactly as they appear in the pictures, fairly spacious and clean. Excellent value for money. The next morning we had an excellent breakfast - tea, coffee, orange juice, crepe and yoghurt, and then made our way into the Medina. We were happy to find that the Riad was right in the heart and that the 'dark alleyways' we had feared the night before were in fact one of the busier streets of the medina itself. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Riad Zinoun. The location is terrific and the staff were friendly throughout. I would definitely stay there again.

The location of this Riad is great. So close to the main square and easy to find your way back. What a bargain for the price.

Did not mind, but remember you must pay in cash. Mad, usa or Euro accepted.

The staff were very accommodating and helped us book taxis transfers to the airport. They also allowed us to stay in later on the day of our departure when we couldn't handle the heat anymore

The Riad was undergoing refurbishments and it they practically gutted the main seating area making it seem as if we were an inconvenience for being there
