Attention to detail could be paid by breakfast kitchen staff as on one occasion some mouldy bread was discovered in the bread basket. It was quite difficult to find the Riad after being out an about- would be nice to have some arrows/ signs in the Medina pointing in the direction of the Riad like other hotels/riads are.
The continental breakfast spread was delicious and very filling- we were greeted in the morning with lovely breakfast kitchen staff. As we stayed in an annexe some metres away from the main Riad,it initially felt a bit isolated but we were reassured as there was always someone from the hotel staff guarding the property from the outside and who'd always let us in/out. Staff in general were friendly and some spoke English which made it easier to communicate.
Tried to book another night and was told no even thou the room was free but i could book if i used booking.com but wifi was not working so could not Tried to show room key ans money and simply say can we not stay here here's our money do you not want our business? Eventually used a computer in the raid with arabic keyboard very frustrating to book on another web site a differnt room and managed to stay in the same roomin the end. Didn't take too long but very strange frustrating Everything else all good. Room was quiet cold i was in sleeping bag and duvet this was mid march
Buffet breakfast Good shower facilities Staff friendly
The only thing was the wifi was a bit weak in places, but not too bad really. Would have been nice to have had more choice at breakfast, perhaps fresh fruit?
The staff were very helpful and the room was nice.
The Wifi wasn't accessible the first few days and they don't provide an Iron.
It's close to the main square and Souk's. The staff are friendly and very helpful.
The wifi was on and off and it's a bit far from the main square.
The staff was so nice, room was very clean, and the bed was super comfy.
Bed was realy hard, wifi has poor signal in the room. We have a chrash with manager: we agreed with receptionst for 8 € for airport transfer, but it become 24 € on day od departure. Young japi manager was very rude and unprofesional. Even if you agree on price of transport can be more expencive on a day of departure!!!!!
Location is great, but there are three riads Larrouss in neighbourhood . Main one is very nice, but you can bet that they will move you to a room in other one, which are not so good. Very clean.
At first they will not give you room you booked on booking.com. This family owns more riads so you will go with your luggage to other riad which is on different address!! Those riads dont have roof and reception guys are so loud even you ask them to be quiet. They gave us stinky room with use bed and bathroom..even toilet was used and it was so disgusting!! Dont believe this family!! They are cheaters!!
There is nothing positive in this riad!!!
high prices of their own hamam (25 eur/hour), high prices of taxi which they can order for you (like in Europe- cca 20 eur to airport which is very close to city).
Cleanliness, location is good if you want to be in Medina, 10-15 min by foot to main attractions. Very known Riad. Easy to explain if you get lost...I can recommend it but not in winter time because its so cold in rooms. Prepared for summer.
Breakfast was basic continental . Management Staff were quite sharp and unfriendly. The Annex Raid was another building down a alley from the actual riad and smelt of blocked drains and up two flights of spiral steps. This should have been included in the description so people with small children can decided if it is suitable.
Free Wi-Fi, Friendly kitchen staff.
Peapel are very friendly
The room was freezing the whole time! Even with the heat turned up the whole way. I turned on the shower just to warm up! Also, the staff knocked on my door at 10:30 pm to tell me that they needed my mattress (I was only a single in a room with two beds). As a single female traveler, I found this very intrusive to have a man asking me to open my door during the night. Apparently they had overbooked. not very professional.
They served mint tea when I first got there. The cleaners and doormen were helpful and friendly. The room was nicely designed (stained glass windows and arches). The breakfast each morning was good, if basic: fresh orange juice, yogurt, boiled egg, pastries.
The main Riad is nicer than the annex one I thought.
Great location, so we decided to come back for another night on our way back from Essaouira
wifi wasnt the best but like i said...cant complain
i loved this place. for the price i paid i really cant complain about anything. great location, great accomodation and most importantly great staff.. very friendly, efficient and helpful. we stayed in the annex part of the building which was brilliant and quiet and had a fab roof terrace. i only wished i had money left to be able to tip the staff.
The toilet and shower are in the other room, but you can hear the noise from there.
In the start, the room was very cold, but if you turn on heater, its ok. The location is really good, the breakfest tasty, the stuff very kind.
No hot water. Beds were really wet and uncomfortable. Lighting bad and no heating. It was so cold we asked for the heating to be fixed... A man said it had been fixed but it still didn't work.
Sun terraces were great.. Breakfast was good and plentiful
The riad is charming but could do with updating in the bedroom. The bed linen and towels were worn and faded, bathroom shelves hanging off the wall and cleanliness was an issue with regards to dust in corners and under the bed.
The staff was first class, very helpful and friendly. Excellent service throughout our stay right from airport pick up to drop off. We felt relaxed and at ease which made for a very enjoyable holiday at the riad.
the staff was so awesome, Thouraya, Mohammed and Faissal was so helpful, we really had a great time with them! I became sick one night and Thouraya made me magic tea! Love u guys! See u soon!
wifi signal in the annexe wasn't so good but great in the main ryad.
the roof terrace, terrific views, spacious rooms, staff were lovely, breakfast was fresh and filling, the welcome, the location, would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others!
we didn't like leaving!
We liked the decor, the space, the staff were lovely- all polite, helpful, friendly, and pleasant. loved the little swimming pool and the breakfast and thought for a cheap hotel it was marvellous value
Just check on the web, they charge your card some extra money very frequently
Avoid unless it's ok for you to see your money fly away
Doesn't serve alcohol
Great location Very very helpful staff Good continental breakfast Lovely sun terrace Good food Unique rooms
sultan suite didnt had windows but was good for sleeping as i didnt heard any calls for pray. The other one was on the other side of road. Nice views from roof terrace. Pool was working, even though its kinda small and i think they were putting too much chlorine. Also many thanks to guy who gave us map of marrakesh it helped a lot. Also we rented scooters through them and wondering around marrakesh with them was the best thing in our travel.
The staff is friendly, the security is top notch and 24 hrs as well as the concierge, can book tours from the hotel pick up and drop off right at the hotel. Walking distance to Jemaa el fan (15 minutes max) Pool, restaurant on site, rooftop dining area and tanning. Very busy area, which I enjoy
