Staff were very helpful and friendly. Food was basic but good. I would recommend the riad for short stays.great views from roof top terrace.
Dirty. Unconfortable. Not the same than the photos
Very helpful staff friendly very clean i would like to stay there anytime i visit Marrakesh
The small pool and the terrace. That's it!
We had a fridge that didn't work and they didn't care about it. Small room and breakfast uneatable.I usually can eat everything but definitely not that breakfast. First time that i had problem with a booking reservation.
nice terrace on the roof with cold refreshing tub; good breakfast. Decoration is very nice
first night we were in the top room of the dependance; did not sleep a wink because of very hard beds. The second night we were in room 303; there the beds were better. Dependance is very noisy, dont know about the main building.
Friendly kitchen staff who assisted us with bottles, etc for 7 month old baby.
Waiting 2 hours at the airport after arranging pick up per instructions, and being told to wait 10 minutes each time we rang them. Being stuck in annex building on 3rd floor with 3 young children.
The breakfast was satisfying and the place that the hotel was located(inside the medina, almost near to everything). Also it has a really nice terrace with a great view of Marrakech. In addition to that, there is 24h security.
The room was not clean at all, sheets were not being changed from the previous that stayed there, lack of windows in the room that made it claustrophobic and the rudness of a cleaning lady . Also some personal things from other customers were still in the room, like a used razor was forgotten in the bathroom.
Free tea was nice :)
Location is really bad for that great hotel.
Very cheap with breakfast included Good location in the medina The room was clean and quiet The rooftop with jacuzzi The ladies who served breakfast where very nice
No window in our room therefore not much light or air
Beautiful pool inside, free breakfast
Wifi wasn't available in all places
Nice area, good price, nice staff
A bit difficult to find
Dirty pool and jacuzy. Lots of dust under furniture. Plants in way were u walk. Stupid prices. One lady ran over to grab money. Cockroaches.
+ the Riad is very nice +the staff is friendly + the pool for the kids
Very cheap. 20 mins walk to Jamaa El Fna. Free breakfast (bread, jam, coffee, tea.)
On the first day the staff tried to rip us off, I handed over the money to pay. He counted it three times and insisted it was short. When I asked him to hand it back so I could count it he recounted and miraculously it was the correct amount. I got covered in bites on the first day from bed bugs. We had the triple room and my bed was tucked away from the other bed. The following night we swapped and my friend then got covered. The wifi is terrible, I couldn't connect to it the whole week we were there. Staff conversed well with us until we had a problem, then suddenly "my English isn't very good." Pool is freezing and in a rubbish location right next to where people eat with no where to relax next to it. The pictures make it look nicer than it is.
Value for the money Able to Stay as a family in one room Breakfast included Dinner available at hotel by request( fair prices) Safety is good Access 24 hours to your room without any delay Cable TV programming available Excellent WiFi speed Additional breakfast options available for extra cost Tables and tanning area at the roof
Better map available at the hotel for guests Located on a busy street Need a tent to cover the fitness equipment from the sun Jacuzzi was freezing Breakfast is the same thing all days
It was clean. The cooks were friendly.
Fraudulently took a deposit from my card without my authorisation. It was refunded only after Booking.com got involved. Leaking ceiling, directly above my bed, which took them overnight to fix. Barged into my room, after knocking once, didn't give me time to open the door. The reception staff were hopeless. Decor wasn't child friendly. Wifi doesn't reach the bedroom. Minimal choice for breakfast.
Lovely staff, most helpful and the food was also delicious compared to other places we had been. Great facilities and value for money. We liked its location too!
The mattress did not do my back good. That's all. But I did manage without much problems.
Two seconds after we fully paid, they inform us that our room was in another building, 50 meters apart. So, forget the swimming pool on the picture as nobody is going to cross a street in short during Ramadan.. as well as the Patio that is in the same building .Wifi was working only on the lower floor. Gym was more or less ok, beside the fact that is on the top of the building, so nobody was using it during the day, as in Marrakech there was 38 degree..
Lovely location, staying on the top floor was gorgeous, felt like we had the place to ourselves and the staff were wonderfully friendly.
The wifi wasn't working for the first 2 nights of our 3 night stay.
Staff Position in the city Atmosphere Food was amazing Good cold room from the heat of the city
Overall a nice inexpensive place to stay and very handy for all the sights. Clean and the staff were lovely. If you want to experience a real Moroccan feel the definitely stay somewhere like this
Make sure you get a receipt as I was involved in a dispute over what I had paid for when I first arrived and I overheard another lady having the same problem. They insist on cash on arrival as well so make sure you get some at the airport. Had a bed bug sharing the bed with me one night but otherwise very clean. Really expensive if you want an orange juice or something while in the hotel. Much cheaper in the square. If you don't settle your bill this may result in a maid knocking your door at 11pm asking for the money !!!
i enjoyed leaving
we were overcharged on our credit card after staying and we had to contact the hotel of their mistake who then only partially repaid the difference claiming the rest was their own tax on our credit card (apart from local and hotel tax) they also took our postcards with the promise to post them and never did.
the room was confortable and the restaurant's staff was very kind Breakfast was good too
wi-fi didn't work in our room (which was in the anex)
Staff were friendly and helpful and tried to resolve any problems. Ryad was quirky with many lovely artefacts everywhere.
Ryad decor and fitments little tired. Main problem for me was bed bugs! My room was infested. I got 15 bites one night and the room was sprayed, bedding changed but still got bitten. Tried to not let it ruined my stay but now home dealing with severe swellings and several bites. On checking reviews found several complaints about bed bugs some over a year ago. So not enough being done to address the problem. The rooms (mine 107) in question should be steamed and done properly as unfair that future guest should have their holiday spoilt like this.
