Wonderful, silent oasis beside the medina, which is a footstep away. The food prepared for the guests was exceptionally. The service staff was first class. We will come back for a second time.
A wonderfully elegant Riad just a few steps from one of the main roads through the Medina. Thank you for a relaxing visit, the cool garden offered a lovely place to hide from the heat in the middle of the afternoon and the pool a great way to cool down! Our room was stunning: thank you!
More choice for breakfast
Beautifully furnished Ryad in excellent location, friendly staff, lovely suite with aircon ,kitchen immaculately clean, tasty Morrocan dishes for dinner, good wine selection, nice breakfast
The City guide they recommended was more interested to take us to certain local businesses than explaining sites and history.
we were thrilled with the kind and knowledgable staff, the peaceful rooms, courtyard and the wonderful food. It is well located on the edge of the medina and easy to find your way back when you are out and about. Very clean, with a warm, comfortable atmosphere.
What a fabulous place to stay, one of our favourites in Morocco. Our room really felt like a luxury riad of old with a large and beautifully furnished room. Pierre, Caroline and their staff really looked after us and Pierre was particularly helpful in explaining the local customs, places to go and how best to see them. The location was perfect from our perspective, within the medina walls but on the edge so it was easy to get to the borj nord and borj sud, get a taxi to other parts of the city and escape the frenetic pace in the souks. The dinners and breakfasts were a delight in the garden courtyard and the pool was a refreshing way to finish a day's sightseeing.
It was one of the more expensive places we stayed but worth every dirham.
Great host and hostess making us feel very welcome and comfortable
The Riad is stunningly beautiful and has been renovated with an impeccable eye to detail. The breakfasts were excellent. The owners were really friendly and took the time to explain the city and the main attractions themselves and even provided a map. The guide that they recommended was excellent (Hassan) and he is a wealth of local knowledge of you are interested in delving under the surface of Fes. We loved the gardens, the roof terrace, the tortoises(!) and the peaceful atmosphere and the owners even upgraded our room for free. Thank you for such an amazing stay.
Spacious rooms, friendly helpful staff. Good breakfast.
The weather! It rained non stop, so our exploring was cut short and it was hard to dry off. But that's not the owners fault
I loved ryad Mabrouka. The house is beautiful and the room where I sleep was really nice. The breakfast were excellent Wifi worked fine in the room (which didn't happened often on Morocco)
Beautiful riad Tastefully decorated throughout Lovevly breakfasts Exceptionally spacious rooms Charming and attentive service Helpful hosts who couldn't do enough to make our stay great. Lovely couple. Good location
Ground floor rooms a bit dark
Beautiful Riad and really nice owners. Dinner was amazing. Probably best food we had in 9 days in Morocco. The staff was really nice and attentive. We were leaving really early on our last day and they prepared us some breakfast at 5 am in the morning and arranged a taxi to the airport for us. Really pleased. Will be back soon.
The staff was very friendly and accomodating. The Ryad is beautiful. Very restful and relaxing. The food was delicious!
Absolutely fabulous place to stay in Fes adjacent to the Medina- we will definitely return. The ryad is atmospheric, decorated in style with traditional fittings & fixtures and all the staff made you feel treasured & welcome. We arrived exhausted at 9.45pm having driven through the Middle Altas mountains from Marrakesh. We were greeted warmly, offered mint tea and when the manager found that we had not had dinner, he provided complimentary soup, bread and biscuits despite the kitchen being closed. We had the splendid Royal Suite and our son had an attractive smaller suite. The evening meals were traditional Moroccan cuisine with a French touch and the three dining settings had character. The ryad even changed our pounds at the same rate as the money changer. If your planning a visit to Fez this is the place to stay.
I liked how authentic the Riad was, the size of the room, eating breakfast outside in the garden and the friendly staff. it also had a very 'relaxed like home' feel about it.
Great location, lovely garden & pool, nice breakfast, local touch of Moroccan beauty products with instructions in bathrooms.
