Nice hotel, you will have for your money. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They always make sure that you have everything you need. We had a room downstairs which was lovely. The breakfast is delicious ( pain au chocolat, local crepes , coffee, tea, milk, eggs and fresh orange juice). I would recommend to try the Mint tea of Mohammed ( the most friendly person I have met), it is delicious. If I need to come back to Fes, I would definitely go back in Riad Naila.
We liked everything.
Rooms were very comfortable, breakfast was huge (though coffee was weak), staff was helpful. Rooms were quiet, though I think this was more luck than design, since it seemed like noise would carry easily.
Bathrooms weren't well ventilated, so they got wet...and stayed wet, and smelled. Hot water was weak and ran out quickly. Wifi signal wasn't strong enough to support much from anywhere other than the ground floor.
we got a very Nice stay, personal was very nice, the place is clean and the guy of reception staff very friendly, we pay a single room and when we arrive they offer us to be in the suit for the same price!! it was nice !! everything was really nice for us. Breakfast delicious!!
- Beautiful building - Great breakfast with beautiful views - Friendly older breakfast staff
- Pushy owner about tours - VERY difficult to find without the owner's escort
We liked the riad very much, because the staff was very kind and helpfull. The breakfast is very good! They even offered us another room, because they were worried about the noise coming from the patio early in the morning. The patio of the riad is very beautiful, it has a working fountain!
The room and especially the bathroom were quite humid, which led to a somewhat awkward smell. The owners liked friet chicken, which we could smell until the next day :)
Excellent location, it is quite easy to find compared to other hotels. Beautiful building and nice decoration. The room was quite spacious with its high ceiling. Good breakfast in the courtyard. Transportation to the airport and stations was arranged for a reasonable price.
The room was on the ground floor and facing the courtyard, so the room is not quiet during the day. The map provided by the hotel was illegible.
The location is very good. The room was nice.
The staff with the exception of one were not very nice. We had not realised we hadn't paid for the Riad. The booking is only a reservation with bookings.com.
Beatificatie decorated, not completely inside the medina madness, and close to a parking so that a taxi can drop you off at 30m from the riad. Staff was helpful.
The shower is great though it starts running out of hot water quickly (after about 5 min).
Realy nice riad. Situated close to center of medina. Tasty breakfast and diner.
Same hotel staff noise in the late morning. Same sensitive person may have late wake-up. I thing it is charactristic of all riad with patio inside.
Nice hotel that provides excellent service and surrounding even at double the price. Very helpful in setting up an excellent desert tour at the last minute when we arrived and managed to facilitate our request for a next day departure. The room was comfortable and spacious and the breakfast very good quality. We opted to "dine in" for dinner and the food was delicious, the setting in the beautiful courtyard gave the feeling of an expensive private dining experience. Also nice that they offered a wine list, a nice compliment to the food. Would definitely stay there again and recommend to friends!
Basically we liked everything! If mobility is an issue for you (older or handicapped) be aware that even the downstairs rooms have the bathroom up a flight of stairs
The location was fantastic and the room had amazing decoration. Not the owner but the guy serving breakfast is super friendly.
The fact that we could not pay by credit card at the hotel and it was on the notes, the Hotelier did made a gesture and paid us the commission amount back though but still it is fishy as they informed the machine is broken that night when i see other guests also complained before about it. The guide guy at the hotel is very aggressive, because of the fact that we were not happy about the charges issue, he was quiet pissed and not professional.. The manager seems does not care at all not really friendly but it is okay. Also when we arrived first day the bathtub was not cleaned, we needed to remove serious amount of hair from the bathtub..
Breakfast is nice as they serve eggs and cheese and not limited to bread, jams and moroccan pancakes. Location is easy to find as it is close to a public parking. The guy serving breakfast and who's also in charge in the evening is very nice and helpful
The room seem so tired from the peak season and isn't well maintained. Most sockets are popping out, wires are dangling which can be very dangerous. There's a piece of nail sticking out from the closet door and cut my boyfriend's back - don't know why it's there in te forst place. No tv as advertised as one of the room amenities - not that we're after watching tv but better not include it in the room amenities if there's only a remote control present and no tv at all. Towels are old and raggedy. I suggest the owner or the men in charge should go around and inspect the condition of their rooms and act on the much needed maintenance before turning over to guests. From our 3 weeks in Morocco, this accommodation is the poorest we've had.
The manager and all the staff were the best they could be. Kind, helpful and considerate. Mohammad was fantastic and did everything he could, over and beyond his duties. I now think of him as a friend. Thank you all so very much. Blessings. Christine stone.
Perfect location,in the heart of Medina, very easy to find. Very friendly staff, and excellent value for money.
Most friendly personel, very good location, big room, delicious breakfast, easy access by car (parking 2mins from riad)
a quiet ryad but closed to the tourist spots
The location is great, the price is good and the roof terrace is a nice place to relax and have breakfast.
Staff are helpful but their friendliness sometimes felt forced and not genuine. The bed and bathroom are clean, but the floor felt like it wasn't cleaned in a long time. It was the least enjoyable of all our hotels in Morocco. I wouldn't return.
Everything, They have beautiful food too. The Breakfast is very rich. The location. And the stuff very nice and very efficient. The rooms are fantastic too.
-beautiful setting -good location (though hard to find at first) -really nice breakfast on equally nice terrace
Decor of the room ok. Not on pair with other riads in the same category, but not a big imposition. Host tried to sell us some "official guides" which we knew from the actual tourist office that were not official and charging twice the actual rate (250 dirham for half a day rather than the really 125)
Everything was perfect! We had an excellent stay in riad.Very close to medina. The staff was helpful and friendly.Great food.Spacious room.Service more than perfect....Thank you!!!
Location was great. It almost felt like we were in a movie. It's right at the Medina but not in the middle of craziness. The Riad itself is beautiful in every detail. You must look at every detail! Breakfast was delicious and neatly served by a very polite and sweet lady who works there. We stayed for few days and had a great time. Totally recommend them!
The riad is very elegant.
The water was cold for 3 days. The toilette was really smelling. The suites on the ground floor are noisy and don't provide privacy. We had the towels at 9pm on our arrival day. The rooms are not cleaned during the stay. The staff was not welcoming at all. Fez is a very stressful town full of people looking for your money only.
The staff were extremely accommodating and hospitable. Mohammed's outstanding food was the highlight of our stay.
it was just perfect.....the bad marks without a comment must come from the other Riad competition.....p.S book the room with the darkgrey bath tube!!!! Saha Riad Naila team
