The staff are wonderful, helpful and kind. They are willing to arrange tours, spa appointments, and provide suggestions of where to go with directions on how to get there. Yousef picked us up at the airport and dropped us off.
Wifi did not work in the room
Exceptional Staff at ryad noura made our stay extra special, nothing was too much trouble, always welcoming. Evening meal was delicious better than some of the restaurants we ate at. An oasis of calm in a vibrant city.
The Map!!! I defy anyone to read the map of the souk and get back home on the first trip with no problems, luckily the locals always help you out.
It is a lovely welcoming and cosy traditional ryad a haven of peace away from the hustle of marrakech. From the moment we arrived until the day we left we were treated as special guests. Youseff in particular was the most welcoming host full of tips and always keen to do anything for us even taking me on his moped to buy our coach tickets.
Drinks prices are European.
the staff at Ryad Noura were exceptional, so helpful, friendly and polite, nothing was too much bother for them. The Ryad is beautiful, like an oasis of peace in the Medina and so close to the souks and main square. Breakfast was delicious every morning. The kids loved the cat and tortoise and were treated to hot chocolate before bed. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The cat Simba and the tortoise. Helpful host Youseff who surpassed our expectations. The poolside was beautiful and the bath amazing.
Could be a little noisy in the ground floor room, but this is to be expected and not much the host can do about this.
What can be said about Youssef that hasn't already been said? Friendly, warm, helpful, really can't do enough for you. Brought us into the city on the first night so we didn't get lost. (get an airport transfer as you will never find this on your own!) Once you've been shown the route though it's fine. The outside is nothing much, but step inside & the ryad is so peaceful & calm after the craziness that is Marrakech. Highly recommend. Thanks Youssef from Mustapha Berber!!
The manager Youssef is a fantastic helpful person. The cat, Simba, and the 4 turtles were an amusing experience for our family. We loved to stay in this Riad.
The warm and helpful staff. Caryl could not have done more to make our short stay so pleasurable: preparing a snack on arrival, booking a restaurant for the evening, taking us there and offering to come and collect us at the end of the meal, preparing breakfast for an early departure and finally, taking us to the airport when he was let down by the taxi driver. The Ryad has a beautiful roof terrace and bougainvillea growing from the inner courtyard up to the terrace! It also has two resident tortoises who wander around the ground floor. A very peaceful place.
Yousif was amazing so friendly, great guy!!!!
What was there not to like. The Ryad although tucked away was a perfect location. Considering its size i would rate if 5* plus if only for the staff. Youssef went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure everyone's stay, not just ours was superb. We will be booking again for our October holiday.
I truly can't think of anything that we didn't like, not even a little
We arrived in Marrakech to a fantastic welcome at the Ryad Noura. It is located deep in the heart of the northern medina and although a bit steep at 20 euros the airport transfer is nigh on essential. The ryad is cool, calming and beautiful, the perfect foil to the sometimes crazy city. We loved breakfasts on the sunny terrace, the mint tea in the afternoons and had several delicious evening meals here. What really makes staying here special is the fantastic host, Yousuf. He was so friendly and helpful and both he and the owner made sure we were fed and watered, supplied with maps and catered for at every turn. We were travelling with our 16 month old daughter and we couldn't have been made to feel more welcome.
Our room was lovely but the quilt was a decorative one, sewn with multiple tassels and metal discs. As a result it tickled and jangled all night long. A duvet would be more boring but make for a better night's sleep!
Yusuf is the best host you can imagine, he is always on hand with help, advice and a smile. This is a wonderful little Ryad and the perfect peaceful place to stay whilst exploring the hustle and bustle of Marrakech.
Everything. Yusuf is the best .He is like an angel.
location but it is safe Yusuf will help you .
Very nice experience of Ryad. Felt like stayed with a well known family.
A stunning riad in a fabulous location. First class staff and nothing was too much trouble. On our last day my husband was poorly and they let us stay in the room bringing herbal teas upon request. Lovely roof terrace where you can relax and also have breakfast. The manager was just wonderful.
A haven of peace in the craziness that is Marrakech. Adjil (concierge, cook, waiter front-of-house and all-round top bloke) was friendliness and helpfulness personified (we asked for a restaurant recommendation and he walked us to Dar Zellij)
I couldn't fault a thing.
