The Approach od Every Single Staff was Profetional & Positive.
Friendly and good staff, nice pool
Resturants not 5 star level (more like 3 stars) and very expensive.
Great service, perfect location at the beach, great access to the beach, overall great hotel, everything is brand new, great hotel to relax (for some reasons there were no children), great gym (for a hotel) and spa, friendly staff (I especially liked the Shisha guy), the staff was omnipresent but never annoying, we had ocean view from our balcony, great architcture of the hotel (from outside in it seemed to be the best hotel at the beach)
Minor stuff: Limited swimming possibilities (the pool is only max 1,40 m deep; we did not check the other Sofitel); relative expensive food for Maroccan price level, wifi was too slow to stream movies on iPad, they ordered a taxi for us but did not negotiate the price with the driver (we had a huge discussion withy he driver about the price in the end which spoiled our leave), breakfast not included in our fare (and it would have been expensive to add it to the booking)
Beach location Sun Large pool Great restaurants Spa
WiFi not 'super fast' as advertised Had to ask for turndown service
The location, the service
The restaurant is way too expensive for the quality of food it offers !
great service, excellent location - great choice of food.
the room was too small for a couple and a child.
Friendly staff, Good suite size, Good breakfast buffet but little expensive. Nice entertainment,
Expensive for what is offered, Expected better, Pricey food and beverages, Extra charge of 3 %for using credit card. Exchange rate from dollars to local currency was not favorable.
The hotel environment and facilities. The location as it was isolated
Agadir and the lack of respect the locals had to woman. The hotel did nothing to help when a couple of incidences occurred hence the poor rating. The hotel asked us to just ignore the abuse we had received from locals on two occasions and asked we not go to the police with the video footage I had taken of a concierge of another hotel attacking me when discussing our bill for a meal. Totally unacceptable from both hotels. I still have the footage and have to now work with police in the UK on how to manage the attack. Both hotels do not take the tourism protection seriously at all.
the overall hotel design/atmosphere along with landscape, swimming pool and rooms.
the staff hotel attitude where excellent and very friendly, however not enough helpful/knowledgeable in where to go for entertainment, fun, shopping nor in the filed of standard tourist other requirement like shipping etc..
Except wifi evry thing is ok
Wifi is very poor
The dark coridor going to the room
The personal in the lobby bar near the dining restaurant is very rood and unskilled
The pool and beach areas were nice.
We booked an US$800/night suite with a sea view. We reached the hotel at mid-night. My partner and I felt like walking into a haunted house. The dark floors and walls gave an uneasy feeling. We were shown a suite in the ground floor which we rejected. We were taken to another suite on the first floor which we reluctantly accepted. Turned out there are no sea view rooms and that in order to see the sea, one has to stand in the veranda. We did not like our room which was dark and very badly lit. The service was below standard. We were mislead about the inclusion of breakfast in our rate plan (again US$800/night without breakfast). The hotel location was the far end of Agadir beach and was therefore removed from all the action. Overall a dreadful experience.
Clean and quite hotel, with nice swimming pool area. Nice room balcony . Friendly staff.
Not centrally located on the beach, so you need to walk for long distance to reach the shops and resturants area on Agadier beach. The hotel alleyway is very dark, painted in black.
Excellent location quiet which is what i was looking for. Nice breakfast good staff. It was great to be able to hold onto the room until 5pm at a supplement. Great space around the pool with plenty of sunbeds. Concierge very good he organised our tickets from the bus station for us to go to marrakech.
Staff at the front desk were not consistent in their service.
Some of the F&B staff were nice.
The hotel is the furthest of all hotels from the center of town, but bills itself as being "centrally located." It also bills itself as a fitness and spa center, but those facilities are managed independently and charge a small fortune for access -- whether or not you are a hotel guest.
A beautiful hotel. Friendly staff. Wonderful room. The perfume diffused in the hotel was amazing. The lighting is just fabulous - I hate over lit places, and the Sofitel got it just right - romantic and relaxing as it should be.
The hotel is at the very end of the beachfront, there is very little traffic or passing pedestrians, perfect to relax and unwind. Mostly adult guests so very quiet. The spa was extraordinary. The breakfast was wonderful. There are several restaurants on site. Whilst they weren't cheap the food was fabulous, the staff were friendly and room service was a joy.
The reception staff weren't very friendly and the room wasn't refreshed with milk n coffee daily. We only had to ask however and this was provided. The plus's definately out weighed the minus's.
Location was excellent. Staff excellent
I didnt like the way the children were allowed to behave. They overtook the bar area. They played football inside. They were noisy. They broke a 5000Euro hanging chair in the bar area. They broke the handrail in the lift. Basically the children were out of control. I paid a lot of money to enjoy a beautiful holiday with my daughter from Sydney and it was terrible.
Absolutely disorganised staff. The check-in desk is totally unprofessional. Restaurants are based in middle average. Prices very high. Breakfast buffet 45.- euro or an normal whiskey at the bar min. 20.- euro.
The pool and pool area.
Everything is so expensive at this hotel. The alcohol especially wine is extremely expensive. The hotel is very dark as are the rooms. They could do with adding more light to the place. There doesnt seem to be much of an atmosphere in the hotel. Hotel is located at the end of the beach so is long walk from the Marina etc....
