It was great! I liked food and people were very freindly in general! Had a great break! I didn't like one thing that when we asked for beach towels feels like anyone didn't pay any attention! We waitted for 1 hour and again asked guy same thing but still no towel,so by the end we did end up,going back to room and bring a towels ourselves. They should pay more attentions towards customers needs as it is very inportant for hotel rating!

Amazing 5* hotel .Beautiful in every way .Have been lucky to stay at many 5* hotels around the world and would rate this very highly . The staff could not do enough for you. Big thanks to Med who organised a great trip to Marakesh and Said at the amazing beach restaurant. Shame main pool is not heated. The spa is not great better to go to sister hotel next door . Their food a little in signature restaurant could have been a little better .

The layout and decor of the hotel was lovely. Obviously a lot of thought had gone into it. The swimming pool area was particularly nice. The waiting and bar staff were incredibly slow. If we were by the pool and wanted to order food or drink it took ages to get their attention and if we were in the large riad/bar area of an evening they wouldnt serve you when you sat down unless you got up and made yourself known. The other hotel staff - cleaners, reception, concierge, doormen etc were fabulous though.

Staff were very professional, and we had an excellent very romantic meal arranged for our last night where I proposed (and she accepted) to my girlfriend.....Miryam and the Food and Beverage manager helped to organise this and were just great.....they are a credit to the hotel and the company....... My balcony furniture was not good and a chair collapsed on me sending me sprawling to the floor....im big and strong so I laughed it off, someone else couldve been hurt ...I was offered no apology........ And after expensive spa treatments on being offered refreshment a bottle of warmish water was simply thrust into my face this isnt good service.....and lets the rest down...why not have a lovely cold jug of ice cold water .........birds eating all the bread and cakes at breakfast is a bit un hygenic...........maybe a metal frame could go over the bread etc to prevent this, I wasnt told about having to pay for sauna and steam room...this isnt mentioned on hotel website.....

The location is ideal The food quality for room service was not up to standard and leaves a lot for improvement. The vents of the aircondition come directly on the bed Rm 160 hence making it very uncomfortable to sleep and too hot to switch it off.

It is a lovely hotel with a lot invested into the lounging areas outside by the pool and beach. If all you want to do is lounge by the pool then this is the place for you When we arrived it was late so we showered quickly and went for dinner. When we returned we noticed there was a bunch of ants in our room. It seemed as if they had a nest in the wood work, so we went to reception to ask for a room change. We made it clear we were not trying to get a free upgrade, we were happy to be moved somewhere on the same floor and get the same type of room, as long as there were no ants. The night manager was very difficult and claimed there was no more rooms. He said he would send a hotel employee up with "ant repellent" and that would take care of the problem. We agreed as we figured it was worth trying as long as it wasn't harsh chemicals. The "ant repellent" was just bleach and by the time the employee was finished wiping the room down with it we had a room that stunk of bleach and STILL had ants. So we went down to the night manager and demanded another room and that nothing else at this point would be acceptable as it was now almost 1am. He was then able to give us another room that was identical to our first room as there was empty rooms even though he first said there wasn't, but why this was not his first response is beyond me. Quite frankly it was below par from what I would expect from a hotel like Sofitel

Loved the atmosphere, the luxurious yet cosy and romantic interior style with so many candlelights and live music in the evening, great customer-service, great location right by the beach. I did not like the restaurants as they were not that child-friendly and quite expensive. We went to the restaurants next door for lunch & dinner.

Polite friendly staff and excellent service. Central relaxing bar areas. Grounds and proximity to beach. The original room I booked through booking. Com was horrible- dark, dank with view of a path for service use. It had a foul drain smell. I had to move to a 'superior room' identical but without the smell and with a pleasant view of the pool. The holiday, therefore, ended up being much more expensive than anticipated. I would class the rooms I saw as 3 star at most. Communal areas lovely. Rooms and corridors tired and shabby.

great place, expensive but it was worth it. if you like to enjoy your life book Sofitel. minor issues would go away with one phonecall to the front desk. we loved it there and would stay there again. close to the city ($4 taxi ride, and dont pay more) everything that is not included is overpriced, but still manageble.
