Surrounded by an 18-hole golf course, these ryads are just a 10 minute drive from Jemaa-El-Fena. The resort features contemporary, Medina-style accommodations, each with a private swimming pool.

Had to check out early Unfortunately in my rush to leave my holding deposit was not cleared until a week after my departure, I had sent an email with no response later to find it had been cleared- Some acknowledgement of what had happened would have been nice.
Unfortunately I had to check out earlier than expected for personal reasons. The staff were very accommodating and one of the managers was very sweet in ensuring that should I return he would ensure I stay in a beautiful suite. (Hopefully he sticks to his word) The shisha garden is a nice place to unwind just before hitting the club on the premise which was pretty good for any ages to enjoy
Comfort of sun loungers, friendliness of staff.Superb location near to the Medina and new shopping district. Entertainment in So lounge vey good.
Ashtrays and tables were not clean when we arrived the first day. But after that, it was ok.
the service was absolutely horrible and the staff was downright RUDE. really no excuses there. wifi was down most of our visit with absolutely no apologies. food and drinks overpriced. better to stay in a riad for the money. 5 star is a definite stretch.
beautiful facilities and amazing pool. good location outside medina.
the Wi-fi connection was well below standards
Outdoor spaces were very good. (Pool, restaurant, sofas, etc.). Great breakfast buffet vis-a-vis value.
Unfortunately out bedroom smelled of sewerage. We complained about it to reception / manager several times. Eventually we got moved late afternoon on our last night. Definitely wasn't satisfatory and ruined our stay at the hotel.
Breakfast Pool area
The concierge was not able to assist us with our transfer to another Sofitel hotel as the transfer had been booked by the other Sofitel. Really unhelpful!
Heated pool and relaxed atmosphere. A welcoming attitude from staff and good service.
The pool & the longe
Lack of clarity about prices. Paid for a complete breakfast when I only had coffee!! Manicure/pedicure was well done but not much choice of colours and charged more than I was advised when I first enquired about the cost..
The hotel seem to be well run. Staff obviously well trained.
Spa pool usage expensive.
Great staff, ever helpful and facilities good too, just loved the breakfast sitting outside in the garden 3 outdoor pools and a great buzz around the place.....
Check in should earlier than 3:00 PM
Staff we're smiling always and helpful, the loopy was nice and Moroccan architect and style were there.
The Staff wasn't friendly, the carpet in the room wasn't clean.
The breakfast buffet was great & the bed was very comfortable.
some efforts could be made to enrich the TV contents (movies + more channels +music..) as some hotels are doing like kenzi menara palace.
hospitality of every single employee, food quality, facilities, welcome tea, car free service, free wifi at room...
Run down facilities. The mini suite had broken curtains, plumbing. Reserved a suite with atlas mountain, our suite was on the ground floor with no view whatsoever, no sunlight, we had to turn on the light all the time. Bad value !
Staff was nice.
-Parking guards who hassles you to pay them -Shower disfunctionning (Heavy noise while working, When you set it at a warm temperature few seconds later it goes very hot and burns your skin!!!) -Tables broken (cracks). I do have the pictures if you need them - too expensive for the quality of room - I asked to buy the bathroom robe, everyone is busy to indicate me where the boutique was in order to get there, when I found the boutique through a guest in the hotel the boutique was closed at 11 am!!! - It will be my last time in that hotel
The buffet is over priced but I can't fault the food. I also had to wait for over 2hrs for my room to be ready that's is not acceptable from a luxury hotel like Sofitel.
The facilities for children, breakfast and bfasy amazing. The staff are great and extremely polite. overall, we enjoyed every day of our stay at Sofitel
We loved everything about this hotel, staff were amazing! The hotel was stunning. We had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone considering a stay in Marrakech. It had everything we could possibly need, and the staff couldn't do enough for you.
stinky carpet no guest allowed full service for non-arab clients
The breakfast was good
Oh dear, where to start. I'll be specific with multiple examples of poor service unexpected for a Sofitel that really ruined our stay. The smaller boutique riads offer better value/service. Given the multiple issues experienced by myself and friends - am surprised at this score. 1) Upon arrival despite booking and checking-in (!!) the newer lounge and spa we were moved through the building into the older Imperial WITHOUT our consent. The hotels adjoin each other so we didn't realise we had been moved until next day our friends described their rooms. Having unpacked and settled we chose not to move but were unhappy. 2) Despite confirming bookings for spa they did not have our appts - only after complaining did they then accommodate our original timings. 3) Despite email explicitly asking for a ladies hair appt (wash/dry/pin-up) for my partner (we had a wedding to attend) the hairdresser didn't know how to pin-up hair!! They found another hairdresser who then proceeded to do a poor job (pins fell out on way back to room). Despite listing a hairdresser on the website the hotel is clearly unable to offer a quality full service. 4) When requesting shirt pressing was told someone is coming, 20m later.. called again.. they said coming, nothing. 15m later I left the room. When eventually next day shirt was picked up was meant to be ready by 2pm shirt only returned when chased at 4pm... seriously? Am i meant to be chasing staff. There is a general 'lack-of-responsibility' culture and poor communication with the staff. Upon problems occurring no one takes responsibility or tries to fix. Only when pressured or complaining, or with escalation do things get fixed. Poor communication is also to blame.. if there is a delay/problem - then why?
Good location and decent facilities. When engaged on the problems senior management receptive and attentive but ultimately unable to fix a poor experience despite some 'modest' efforts.
Hotel rundown Not very clean rooms Bad food
Outdoor area and pool although pool was very good
Horrifically overpriced restaurants and scruffy rooms. Lots of dark corridors on the Palace side of the hotel.
The pool and public areas were lovely.
