The most relaxing holiday we have ever had. Peace and tranquility in beautiful surroundings, delicious food in a hotel full of character. We hope to return, and soon.

Tigmi is a beautiful place rebuilt with a super taste, care and faithful to its origins; it's perfect to relax, read, swim in the pool, try the hammam, watch the stars. The staff is very friendly and I would easily go back there. If you're exploring the area between Marrakech and the Atlas, it is a good location. Also if you want to be in a quiet and comfortable place and make a day trip to the buzz of Marrakech it's also a good spot to be. There is a big contrast: the sophistication of Tigmi and the poorness of the village but at least the hotel provides jobs to local people.

There is not much to do in the surroundings but sometimes that's exactly what you need. Food is not cheap and there is just no alternative, no restaurant or even a small bar in the nearby village.

A great place to relax, friendly staff. Pro active management and really nice to be surrounded by the village and lovely countryside. The design of the premises is wonderfull with nice pools, courtyards and cushions. We also enjoyed very good lunches and diners.

The rooms were a bit worn. The style is a berberroom, plain and nice, but the rooms need a makeover. Although a minor detal: extra payment for eggs at breakfast is something we know from backpackers hotels. Not to be expected in a place like this.

Loved being in the countryside but so close to Marrakech. Loved walking through the village, having a fire in the bedroom, watching the goats being herded while eating the lovely breakfast, feeling pampered. Very stylish, relaxed and comfortable.

I didn't want eggs for breakfast but it seemed a bit strange that you had to pay extra if you did!

price/value perfect! Breakfast is good but could be fantastic with some local cheese or meat. Swimming pool great. Rooms perfect. Quietness is greatest plus. Local staff very friendly and helpful.

Local staff is ok but manager often reacts inappropriate. The way he treats local staff is sometimes embarrassing . It's too obvious that he wants the guests to stay as long as possible in the hotel. (to spice up the bill ?). "Why should you leave in the morning to Marrakech since there is nothing to see then ..unless you want to go to see some vegetables"

We stayed there in July 2012 for 3 nights. Since it is low season, we have the entire resort to ourselves (except one night). Tigmi has a great location and fantastic view of the Berber village, which you can walk around easily. We heard the prayer 5 times per day which is fine. At the end, we actually quite enjoyed it. The staff are friendly and very helpful. It can be difficult to communicate in English sometimes, but we always got it sorted. Very delicate staff and a great team. We specially like Rigina (Asst Manager) and Huassin (waiter) who always have a welcoming smile.

We took a trip with the driver and it costs 900dhs for 6 hours, which can be done cheaper. The menu can be better and with more choice. The local dishes are great but the international ones need some improvement.
