The owners are perfect hosts, and the accomodation is really good
very friendly owner and staff who could'nt do enought for us including medication for tummy bug and lovely meal with family.Would definitely return.
My father and I enjoyed our stay so much. The staff were so attentive and sweet, and made us feel right at home. Our rooms (the rooftop rooms) were beautiful and quiet. The breakfasts were tasty, and the location was spot-on. I really can't fault our stay there!
It is a lovely place, right in the middle of the old town. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Our room was on the roof which was nice to be able to sit outside it and relax in the evening. It is quite a pleasant room (no. 10 I think). Other people have mentioned the school below but I did not find that disturbing at all.
Some of the rooms inside on other floors looked more beautiful and luxurious than ours (when I noticed they were unoccupied and went and had a nose around) so I was a little envious of those but, on the flip side, we had a room with direct access to the roof.
quite, central Location, very good breakfast, helpfull owners
Breakfast and staff very kind
Bedding and towels dirty and smelling. Beetles in the room.
smiling staff. room well decorated and clean.
I was given a double without external windows.Although we were there for 5 nights (usually people stay only 2..!) I asked if they could swap us but they wanted to upgrade us making us paying 10 euro extra/night!! Not worth it especially when the last day we were there nobody was in the B&B and in booking.com all rooms had 20% discount!!I was not pleased with the treatment and I believe this is because the owners want to privilege the french clients!! They also had problems with the credit card machine and although I said the payment went through (I was notified on my mobile) they wanted a bank transaction upon my return. As soon as I made it...they realized the payment went through and now they need to pay me back...
Lots of different patio areas, great shower, lovely breakfast.
This riad was so beautiful we stayed an extra day. The inn is decorated with simple French country style-meets-Moroccan, with custom iron and glass room doors, lots of wrought iron and simple, beautiful interiors and fabrics. We loved the various rooms and the light that pours in from outside. (Their photos are very accurate.) The pillows and beds are amazingly comfortable, and the roof decks for breakfast were a nice way to start the day. Deliciously warm shower. The riad is conveniently located, right in the middle of the medina, only steps from shops and the souk where you can buy spices and pick out fresh fish to have grilled for you. It is also very easy to get to and get back to the parking area. Christine was very helpful sending us to various shops to find things we were looking for, and even walked us to an amazing, fast, cheap tailor who turned some of our fabric purchases into pillow cases. We would definitely return and recommend this beautiful, comfortable riad.
The Internet didn't work very well. Be sure to buy liters of water at a shop instead of at the riad if you're on a budget. There is a school right across the street that starts at 8am so if you sleep late you might want a room that isn't on the street. Some of the steps in the riad are very steep and narrow.
