Arranged 4x4 excursion, very professional. great experience, perfect location

We went to the Yasmina hotel because of the edge of the desert location and bird watching. The experience was breath taking! We had breakfast at around 07.00 and sat overlooking the desert and the sunrise!. The food was typically Moroccan and simply excellent! And the rooms are very clean and again are typically Moroccan. We mainly went for the bird watching and I was surprised how knowledgeable some of the staff were about the desert birds. We went on a 4x4 birding trip into the desert again this was excellent and very successful, but make sure you negotiate the best price for the trip! If you like birding this is the place! There are Spanish ringers at the hotel who were happy to let you watch them ringing and even hold and release the birds!.

Dinner was only served at 8.30pm. Way too late. Only because they were expecting a big group to arrive at 8.30pm. Food was good however.

I liked about everything. Yasmina is very well situated just north of the sand dunes, and you can easily walk in the dunes at any time. The hotel is located just next to a temporary lake, which makes it a magnet for wildlife at certain periods in the year. About the hotel itself: the rooms were very comfortable with a large room in front of the bedroom (good for your lingering stuff), and a nice toilet and shower part. The hot water takes some time, but it is really hot. All rooms are around a pleasant inner court with a big swimming pool (too cold when we were there). The reception is very very helpful and very friendly. So all in all, very recommendable. The staff knows about birdwatchings sites around and can (ofcourse) organise a 4x4 or camel trek with a night in a tent in the desert (unfortunately no time for that).

I ordered a vegetarian meal the first night, but they showed up with a dish with only meat. I complained about that the second night, and, as if it was a joke, they tried to serve me two tajines with only meat...But that's about it for the negative...

The staff were great, especially our waiter, very attentive, friendly, really looked after us.

Unforgettable experience - great for bird watchers,star gazers,desert lovers. Patron and waiter very attentive,hotel comfortable,food very good and peaceful relaxed ambience. Well worth the 14k drive along bumpy piste.

Need to check whether water hot before you start taking a shower!

We wanted to explore the area for birds and this hotel has been highly recommended and we concur, food was typically Moroccan which was great as was the decor and the staff were excellent making it the complete experience whatever you were visiting the area for, as close to the desert as you could be without living in a tent!

Location right nex to dunes. Dinner excellent quality and reasonably priced.

Access track very bumpy - really needs a 4x4. Booking.com description of the room states 'balcony/terrace, bathrobes and minibar', none of which were present in the rooms. Welcome very poor, made to feel like a bit of an inconvenience while the owner took mobile phone calls and watched football on tv. Only accept cash payment (although knew in advance)

Tras un pequeño contratiempo inicial, el hotel se volcó para compensar ese contratiempo, ofreciendo toda clase de atenciones. Se estaba realmente agusto con ellos. Las vistas son de pelicula la comida estaba riquisima

Hotel amplio con habitaciones aceptables tirando a buenas. El personal agradable y adecuado. Restaurante tambien aceptanle La piscina muy oportuna. Lo único el acceso un poco incomodo. Por lo demás muy bien, a pie de dunas

Einmalige Lage direkt an den Dünen. Postkartenaussicht! Schöne, grosszügige Anlage. Toller Pool. Zimmer nicht übertrieben gemütlich aber sauber und gut funktionierende Sanitäreinrichtungen. Unser Zimmer bot leider keine Aussicht in die Dünen. Andere Zimmer liegen schöner - ev. beim Buchen besser vermerken, falls unbedingt gewünscht! Abends wie Morgens gute Verpflegung und nette Bedienung. Der Patron präsentiert intensiv sein umfangreiches touristisches Angebot (4x4-Touren, Kamelritte, Dünenübernachtung im Nomadenzelt, usw.). Als etwas wüsten-erfahrene Reisende haben wir das Angebot allerdings nicht genutzt und sind selber eine Rundtour um den Erg Merzouga gefahren. Die Hotelzufahrt ist für Asphalt gewohnte Europäer nicht eben einfach. Das Gasthaus liegt recht weitab der Teerstrasse (siehe Google-Satellitenbild). Empfehlenswert ist ein Fahrzeug mit guter Bodenfreiheit - 4x4 ist nicht zwingend erforderlich, aber den kleinen Mietwagen-Spark oder -Fiesta würde ich nicht als geeignetes Transportmittel für die Anreise in Erwägung ziehen! Dafür erhöht hier schon die Hotelanreise die Vorfreude zum einmaligen Wüstenerlebnis ;-)

Hotel staff very friendly, brill location and beautyfull view, great food, excellent for family holidays, weekends with friends or honeymoon, liked it so much that will b back

Posizione veramente ottimale sul deserto

Non puoi arrivare nel mese d'agosto e non avere il condizionatore nelle camere da letto e nelle sale dei locali dove pranzi non accesi perche' il generatore per l'alimentazione della corrente elettrica viene acceso solo dalle 19 della sera alle 09 del mattino, con la conseguenza che durante il giorno tutto quello che bevi e' caldo. Alla domanda del perche' non si possa avere l'aria condizionata in camera ti viene risposto dal propretario che essendoci poche persone nel mese d'agosto (bassa stagione) le entrate non sono sufficenti a mantenere il generatore acceso tutto il giorno, se uno durante il giorno a caldo puo' tuffarsi in piscina per rinfrescarsi, e per il bere la risposta e che le bevande a temperatura ambiente dissetano di piu'.

Ce Riad est situé près des dunes, bien en dehors de Merzouga à 15 kms et c'est parfait ! La piste est bien goudronnée, seulement nous sommes tombés lors d'une tempête de sable, et là la situation est plus compliquée. Excellent rapport qualité et prix, personnel très gentil. Nous avons passé 2 nuits et nous en gardons un excellent souvenir. Nous vous le recommandons Mireille et Pierre Montarnaud 34 (hérault)

Замечательный отель-касба у самого подножия высоких песчаных дюн Эрг-Шебби. Очень внимательный к постояльцам отеля хозяин Youssef. Стильные номера, помещения ресторанов, терраса, отличный бассейн, вкусная еда в ресторане. По предварительному запросу из Москвы нам с женой организовали прекрасную поездку на джипе вокруг дюн и Camal-ride – мы любовались закатом солнца на вершине дюн. Самые приятные воспоминания об отеле Kasba Yasmina!!!

avec 2 enfants en bas âge, nous avons profité de la piscine (adaptée à l'acces pour l'enfants), des dunes aux pieds de l'hotel, du service impeccable du restaurant. Une adresse éloignée de l'alignement d'hotels de Merzouga, ambiance d'isolement dans le désert. Le plus: On vous propose des activités annexes sans vous forcer la main. Il faut y passer plusieurs nuits pour savourer la tranquillité de cet endroit.

Die Kasbah liegt direkt an der Düne. Der Blick von der Terasse ist atemberaubend. Ein weiteres Highlight ist der Pool- sauber und echt gepflegt. Der Besitzer der Kasbah Youssef organisiert verschiedene Wüstenaktivitäten: Wir haben uns für den Trip mit den Kamelen zu einem Berberzelt in der Wüste entschieden, wo wir dann auch eine Nacht verbracht haben. Der Guide war sehr freundlich und hat uns schnell die Panik vor dem wackeligen Ritt genommen. Das Personal des Hauses ist zuvorkommend und spricht viele Sprachen. Rundum echt ein Geheimtip und definitiv empfehlenswert. Luxus pur=)

Das Türschloss war nicht wirklich verrtauenserweckend, aber das Haus ließ diesbzüglich keine Zweifel Also keineSorge, das Personal ist absolut zuverlässig und die Kasbah liegt so weit abseits, daß Fremde sich hier her nicht verirren (Einfach Schlösser mal erneuern=) und die Sanitäranlagen waren nicht die allerneuesten, aber immer sauber und frisch geputzt.
