The room key system did not work well and required going back down to the desk and up again. The window to the balcony did not lock. The lighting over the washbowl was not oriented correctly and did not light one's face. |

Location, friendly staff, There was a mistake in the reservation and the hotel had us for two nights instead of one. They wanted to charge us for the second until I showed them the reservation confirmation from booking.com did they back down. Albeit the hotel is in Monte Carlo, the value of food for the price in the hotel was low. |

We loved staying at Hotel Columbus we had a room on the 5th floor and the views were amazing. The staff were very professional, friendly and helpful.The room was tastefully decorated and had enough room for all our things, the lobby and eating areas throughout the hotel are very relaxing, with a luxurious feel about them.I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. |

From the first moment of arriving when they opened the door of my car, through to the conceierge sorting out our restaurant booking and getting the car valeted, the staff were always friendly and could not do enough to ensure that our stay was as relaxing and trouble free as possible |

The rooms were clean and well presented. It was in a good location (on the bus drop-off from Nice airport) but then again Monaco is tiny so everywhere is close!! If you going to Monaco, I guess you expect to pay-through-the-nose for everything, but anywhere else in the world this hotel would really struggle to justify or deserve the money it charges. A little more friendliness and helpfulness from the staff would also go a long way, but hey, it was busy, others were complaining and maybe they were all just having a bad day! Regardless, we've definately had a lot better for a lot less in other cities. |

I was initially given a room with a sea view. Great view but very small. I asked to be moved to a larger room. My request was honoured without any problem. The receptionist was very friendly and the alternative room had a great view over a peaceful park. Continental style breakfast was limited. No hot food unless you paid 22 euros. |

The room was spacious,well equipped,nicely furnished,modern and very clean.The hotel facilities were excellent. Generally,the staff were friendly but the Concierge was too pushy,trying to sell bookings,trips etc.;most annoying and a very poor first impression of the hotel. |

The staff friendliness, the location,& the general atmosphere. The bathroom lighting very poor for shaving, & ladies mahe-up! The internet charges expensive in that the time of 2hrs should be accumaltive & not continuos. Many hotels with WiFi do not charge at all. |
