In the heart of the Principality of Monaco, Novotel Monte-Carlo is a short walk from the train station, Place du Casino and Grimaldi Forum.
Score from 1165 reviews Very good
Located in Monaco, this elegant hotel offers guest rooms with free Wi-Fi access and a minibar. It is just half a mile from the Princely Palace and a 3-minute drive from Monte-Carlo Casino.
Score from 539 reviews Good

Set beside Port Hercule in Monte-Carlo, Miramar features a rooftop restaurant and lounge bar with panoramic views of the sea and the Circuit de Monaco.
Score from 332 reviews Good
The location of this hotel is very convenient, 10 minutes walk from the train station and 10 minutes walk to the port. I had a lovely view of the sea and the room and hotel were very neat and clean and newly renovated. The staff were friendly and helpful.
There was no lift/elevator so walking up or down 3 floors of winding stairs with a heavy suitcase and no assistance is not pleasant. But this point is not a reason for me not to go back I would just think about my luggage situation before I go back.
I'm satisfy that I can find this hotel in Google Map.
But when you find this hotel you will realize this is the worst hotel in Monaco. You won't know they are doing renovation and we can smell the new painting where you cannot breath. The rude staff will let you know you cannot return your money if you don't want to stay there.
The older gentleman behind the counter was really nice. The room was clean and fairly new.
Have you ever wished to see the silhouette of your partner taking a dump from bed? Here is your chance. Who thinks opaque toilet doors that face the bed is a good idea? The younger gentleman would rather you stayed somewhere else. The walls are thin and you can hear every detail of the next room.
excellent location very clean and tidy friendly, polite and helpful receptionists, although not all of them speak English
No wifi computer in the hotel No provided kettle and coffee/teabags in the room Bathroom panel not fixed properly, might have caused injury to tourists
Very good value, great location, clean.
We found the chap on the reception desk to be a little unhelpful/rude (to the point where we avoided contact!)
Perfectly situated two minutes walk from the shuttle bus stop. Staff very friendly and welcoming, and printed my boarding pass for me for my ongoing flight. Superb value for money, especially considering that this is Monaco.
The only slight criticism was the bathroom was very small, but for a one-night stay that wasn't a problem
Away from crowds but close enough to the action if you can and like to walk.
No elevator with very steep winding staircase. Difficult with luggage. Desk staff not friendly or welcoming.
Excellent location near the Palace and harbour front, and is at the bottom Monaco's hills. Hotel is spotless and efficient. Breakfast is nice and filling
Facilities are basic, and room is small. €95 + €10 for breakfast would be expensive anywhere else...but not Monaco!!
Location great. Clean beds
Receptionist was not very helpful. No lift and I am early and they would not help with luggage. From the photo and actual room was totally different and appeared to be smaller
quite street and nice location. public parking garage was close-by and hotel gave a discount card for parking charges.
not a big concern, worth to know: There is no lift, So if travelling with big suitcase, be prepared to carry :)
Great location, good value,friendly staff
Continental breakfast had only bread & coffee. Most we have encountered were better!
The location was great
The room was very small
Very close to marina and a 10 min walk to casino. 5mins from track also. Very central and very helpful staff.
CiCi was extremely helpfull getting us to the train station on time, 5 minutes to spare.
It's a fantastic hotel, the staff were excellent and I would recommend it in a second to anyone staying in monaco.
No kettle in the room was the only downfall as I like a cuppa in the morning.
Excellent place to stay for cost.
Bathroom a bit small but not bad for European standards
Our accommodation was on the ground floor and had 3 bedrooms so myself and two daughters had a bedroom each. We thought the hotel offered excellent value for money and we would definitely stay there again. Very friendly staff, especially the lovely lady who served our breakfast, who each morning gave me a pot of hot water so I could make my own special tea!
Location especially excellent
location; price; ambiance; staff very helpful
Bathroom 'screen' lacked privacy
Great location, near Vieux Port. Public parking nearby with discount. Good price/quality in Monaco.
3th floor without elevator. Very little bathroom.
Breakfast was poor
In a very quiet street but right on top of all transport points, train, busses, also local to many bars and restaurants and vey close to the port.
It was in the center and close to all the historical places such as the Palace or the gardens. The price was very good compared to others in Monaco. Although it is a 2 stars hotel I think the rooms looked more like 3 or 4 stars hotel. It was clean and the staff was helpful.
The noisy customers next to my room but it has nothing to do with the hotel.
Excellent location, good value for money, down a back street so little noise. Generally clean. Small, good looking, modern hotel. Breakfast staff were exceptionally helpful and their smiles were a great start to our day.
Mattress cover was dirty and I had to request a clean cover but it was changed with no problems. The male staff appeared unfriendly but the female staff including the breakfast staff couldn't do enough for us and were exceptionally polite and helpful.
Very good location, walking distance to Monte Carlo and Palais Royal. Nice view from the rooms, very clean and comfortable beds.
No elevator, so you have to carry your luggage up on the stairs. Rooms were small, no place for baggage, good for short stays. One of the stuff was very rude, others were very helpful and friendly.
