very small room
We stayed here as part of my partner's 60th birthday and it was gorgeous. We had a room overlooking the harbour, fabulous comfy bed and exceptional service. I mentioned it was my partner's birthday and the hotel left a beautiful chocolate gateau and personalised note on our first day - what a lovely surprise!
Not much to dislike here, except the price of everything of course! But then it is the best hotel in Monaco so can't really expect anything less I guess.
Second time we have stayed here and even better than the first which we thought would be hard to beat. Great hotel in which we were treated very well and can't wait until next year!
Our trip was too short!
This s a magnificent palace in the very best location in Monte Carlo. Fabulous but very very expensive.
Price! some areas need updating but this is to be done from autumn 2014.
Location brilliant, lobby/bar excellent, beautiful building!
Room price is too high for mediocre, outdated room. No extra services like a bottle of water. Airconditioning was very loud, had to turn it off, therefor very hot in the room!
Great Hotel Amazing location
The service quality & hotel atmosphere
It is in the middle of the attraction area
No beach you should take a shuttle to the resort (free access) to the hotel guests
Beautiful, historic hotel. Expensive, but beautiful breakfast in the garden.
The courtyard rooms are not good, through the window can see only a ventilator that gives terrible noise. Also rooms are more older.
too many tourists outside
Location but that's it.
Normally we stay at the Hermitage hotel but it was fully booked this time so we booked Hotel de Paris. When we arrived it was hectic and the were no bellboys to take our luggages. Then when we checked in we were greeted by the most arrogant and rude staff we have ever encountered in our lives. It was a very uncomfortable experience as we felt patronised and mocked by him. When we finally arrived in our rooms we were disappointed. We took two rooms a superior suite and a deluxe room. The suite was extremely disappointing as it was delapidated and needing refurbishment. The deluxe room was mediocre. Anyhow we were out for most of the time during the stay so the rooms were only for a place of rest. After our two days in Monte Carlo, when we finally decided to depart there were no one to load our luggages. After a long wait we became impatient and we decided to take luggage our selves. The luggage storage was unmanned and it was wide open so we walked in and took our luggage our selves. It was unnerving to think that anyone could go in and take things without supervision. This further contributed to our bad impression of this supposedly world class hotel. to sum up the whole experience this hotel was overrated and a rip off. They need a serious renovation and training for the staffs.
Everything is excellent !!!!
！！！ what a 5 stars super grand and expensive hotel don't even provide free wifi service to their customers, this makes my family so disappointed
Lovely views, great location, friendly staff
Dated in- room technology, absents of tee/coffee making station in the room, no complementary bottled water. So not 5 star!
The worst services according to price!
Location is tops. Service in Restaurant Louis xv excellent
Rooms need attention. Bathrooms need some upgrading/ remodeling
Location High quality Opportunity to stay in a world renowned hotel
Very expensive (But you accept that because of the standard of hotel).
The location is perfect
The breakfast is very poor.In all five star hotels shampagne is served on breakfast, here no shampagne and the selection of food is very poor.
Luxurious , iconic ,very friendly and professional staff.
Pay for regular TV programs
The spa was under construction and was unavailable for use
nice and expensive :)
Top location, wonderful staff and a truly fantastic experience. This is how a first class hotel should be.
