We have selected the hotel based on its location and the facilities it offers - swimming pool and private beach being the key elements to our selection. Both (the pool and the beach) were great. The view from double deluxe was spectacular. The bed was big and comfortable. However, please read what I did not like further - might be important to your choice. The lobby looks dreadful and some sort of an awful smell welcomes you as you step in, the corridors are smelly too. The staff is inefficient and cannot manage the amount of guests staying in the hot season. I find the staff very rude. We could never hook to internet from the room. The price is exaggerated for the quality offered and I would not recommend this place to my friends. It reminds me of an ex-soviet hotel with big ambition and low quality service.

Staying at this hotel is a big mistake there is construction next store that will make your stay very unpleasant The hotel is over priced for room rates and the food at the hotel is also way too over priced for the quality. At this time I can not recommend ti to an one. The hotel manager is not helpful at all in servicing you with this construction issue. the pricing for food and the qualitity is very poor The noise is terrible from the construction next store it continued daily from 7:30 AM unitl 8:30PM one night

Excellent location, very nice room with a balcony to appreciate the lovely sea view. All staff (particularly Reception and Concierge) were very helpful and friendly; we were given an early check-in without hesitation and queries about directions/local facilities were answered quickly and helpfully. No complaints - liked everything about this hotel!

Eye-waterlingly expensive facilities. When most hotels no longer charge for internet, Meridien extracts huge charges..............and e11 for a glass of orange juice at breakfast is about as expensive as anywhere on earth. Forget about the room rate......the extras will cost you more!

The price with booking.com 4 nights for Euro 424,-. The situation, easy access with bus 6 to town. 1. the price of breakfast, p/p Euro 35,-. 2. the price of parking Euro 46, p/d. 3. No amenities provided in the room for complimentary coffee or tea. 4. No amenities provided to clean/polish shoes. 5. The indoor swimming pool was supposed to be 28 degrees but was cold. Especially in March when it rainy and you cannot swim outside. We were looking forward to relax in the swimming pool but after one dive, we quickly got out to get to the sauna. 6. The fact that when you come out of the swimming pool/sauna wearing your peignoir, you have to pass the entrance to take the elevator and meet people checking-in or waiting in the hall, while you are dressed with slippers and peignoir. 7. The lighting in the room.

The staff are very friendly and helpful 1) you had to get towels from the leisure center - it would have been nice to have someone on the beach..2) you could not get a snack on the beach you had to go into the hotel to eat, not convienient when in swim wear.

The hotel in general has been designed to very modern but in doing so in our opinion has a lack of character. The room was ok but the bathroom with its central extruded alloy pillar with a shower hung off on one side and a metal sink on the other along with the type of tiling was something more likely to be found in a health club or maybe a hospital rather than a luxury hotel. The seperate check-in / cashier deks with some hidden away behind a large pillar was in particularly a poor design as were various other features of the hotel. Other guests may of course like this type of design. The fact that it has its own beach is probably the best feature although we did not use this.

Excellent location, just far enough away from the busy center but close enough to walk into within 10 minutes. About 15 minutes to the harbour. Lovely, clean, safe, private beach with outdoor and indoor pools on separate levels with more than adequate sun beds and umbrellas. All these areas were monitored by staff making them very safe for all guests, especially children. Members of the beach and pool staff were on hand for assistance if beds and/or umbrellas were not available. Food and choice superb. Service very good too. Would benefit from some form of air conditioning in the lifts.

We loved that it had a private beach (that was huge for us) and it's location in regards to the board walk and restaurants. Breakfast was very good--fresh and varied. Staff was friendly, Pool was fabulous! Loved the salt water. It was so refreshing and soft on the skin. Overall the hotel was beautiful. The prices for extras were outrageous. You had the feeling that because it was such an upscale hotel, it was expected that even simple things-- drinks, food and internet--should be expensive as well. Perrier water was 6.50 euros and most cocktails and alcoholic beverages were in the range of 10 to 20 euros. It made hanging out on the beach all day impossible. You had to find somewhere else to eat and drink affordably. Internet became wireless half-way through our stay and only in the common areas not in the rooms. The cost for 24 hour internet was 19 euros-- again, you had the feeling you were being nickeled and dimed. Also was surprised for the cost of one night's stay, the beds didn't have feather pillows. However, the bed overall was very comfortable

All the staff speak good English and are very helpful. Most of the food we tried was average - while the seafood spaghetti was awful - and definitely not worth the money the hotel asks for it.
