The Novotel Monte Carlo is a superb modern hotel, well located within the heart of Monaco. The hotel was very clean with a luxury designer feel to it. The rooms were excellent with a lovely modern bathroom with bath and shower which has a great massage function and good adjustable head. The toilet was seperate which was a good idea. The rooms were bright and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was 1st class, catering for all tastes including a lovely little kids buffet which was a nice touch for the children. The pool garden area was a little sun trap, with the pool itself safe and clean and of a decent size that you could enjoy a proper swim. The computer and free internet were very good with a top spec Apple system available. Staff friendly. The Gym was poor, in that it could do with some weights / machines, and the internet corner would need more than 1 computer as at times large queues formed for the one machine.

Nice hotel, cool furniture in lobby. Clean comfy room. No wifi... Lady at reception insisted my card wasn't working even though she pulled it out before it finished the authorisation process, bit annoying.

Great location , close to the train station and also the bus drop off point, from Nice Airport. Only a 10 min walk to Casino square. Nice relaxed atmosphere in the lounge bar, and generally throughout the hotel. A visit to the Casino and Cafe de Paris is not to be missed. One of the nicest places we have been for a long weekend, but also one of the most expensive. Save as much as possible before your trip so you can enjoy the whole experience, it is the playground of the rich and famous for a reason. This hotel was a good deal booking through this site, a good standard which you would expect to pay a lot more for.

The hotel located on strategic area; 7 minutes walking from train station; 10 minutes walk to casino; and if you go to the castle bus no 2 will stop just across the Novotel. The hotel is designed modern, unique. The first room we got no air conditioner could be operated and no windows can be opened and did not mention when we book , even the staf did not ask when we check in.

Location Parking is pricey, there was no possibility to unload in front of the hotel as the parking spots were taken (a very poor start when one is handicapped) and it was not easy to go around the neighborhood to find the parking entrance. Reception clerk was unable to give me my statement upon checkout, arguing some technical difficulty; I couldn't wait as I needed to catch a flight. I later found out that the hotel charged my credit card a day before arrival (and not at 6:00PM the day of arrival) for 2 more nights than my modified booking had specified, and it took several emails and a full week to have this corrected and the charges reversed. Booking.com however has a very responsive assistance team and they were great in helping me resolve that issue.

easy acess from rail station, take the escalator up one level from platform, go past the ticket counters on your right, take the elevator (on the left) go up 1 foor and take escalator up another floor, exit out the doors, head left about 100metes, hotel on the right. We're were there on New Years eve, I know it's monaco. but the price was riduculous. Nice hotel, but not special enough to justify the price.

The hotel was spectacular. It was conveniently located in the center of town and the staff was very helpful and accommodating. We received a room with the view of the ocean. The staff even stored our bags the day of check out so we could explore the city during our last day in Monte Carlo. The price was affordable for this luxurious experience. We noticed that the staff entered into our room 2 times immediately after knocking on the door. One time we were taking a nap and the other time we were changing our clothes w hich was an awkward and disruptive experience. This was the only aspect of our stay that we did not like.

The location and the fact that the breakfast was included in the price. The entrance door of the hotel was not working, the equipment (a lamp) was very noisy during the night, the internet is not for free in the rooms and there is no place to hang up towels in the bathroom.

Wonderful location, 3 minutes walk from the train station and about 7 minutes to grand casino. Considering monaco is a small city, you are able to walk around each parts easily. It has a very spatious restaurant and a huge breakfast buffet! I strongly recommend executive rooms and if possible a higher floor because it has a great view of the sea.

Second stay in 3weeks, we planned to be back In Monaco to take a flight out of nice, and specifically booked Novotel because of our last stay. Recommended room 1002!!! As usual in many hotels unfortunately, housekeeping is not very delicate when it comes to cleaning adjacent rooms while you are still sleeping, I.E. slamming doors, slamming vacuum, talking loud etc.

It was brilliant as a base to explore Monaco. Under 5 mins from Casino Square, and lifts to get down to harbour area in close proximity. Bus stops at door (one of only 6 routes covering entire principality) Airport coach from Nice dropped us 4 mins away. Car park next door for renters - now that's pricey. Breakfasts good although buffet one slightly expensive at 17euro each, coffee/ croissants/ fruit and juice great at 9.50. Room quite large, bathroom very good. There's a balcony if room at rear facing sea in the distance. Decor amusing, based on fact that building was originally Radio Monte Carlo hq. Evening meal was ok, bar really good, business conference facilities looked good. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Manager constantly present.Go again? Definitely .....
