location rooms comfort
-Persons are friendly.
-Breakfast is too much expensive. -A price of a taxi to the airport, which this hotel would order, is almost 3 times (!!!) more expensive than regular price !!
The women in the reception was very careful and helpful! She took notice of my remark and was always there when needed.
Though, not the staff problem, the breakfast was very poor. The good news is that they said they will improve it. And the tv wasnt working. But thats fixable.
The behavior of the woman of the stuff, she was trying to serve despite she did't speak english. The behavior of the driver they are using,he had always a big smile in his mouth.
The behavior of the owner,an old not speaking english lady ,who was shouting to me in MOLDAVIAN,because i was not accepting her point of view,in the problem i''ll analyse you:i've mad an arrangment with a young guy of the stuff who is speaking poor english for a trip to Cricova,a village outskirts of Chisinau(11km) who is famous for its wines.I asked him at least twice about the price-50euros for 2 persons-& if it includes the hole trip:tranfer-entrance-guide,& he answered me yes.(No written document of the services i recieved, of course,otherwise....).In Cricova they asked us to pay 20 euros each=40,for entrance, guide & wine tasting. When we came back to the hotel she asked me if i had paid the driver 50 euros & i told her,to the young guy, this is not what we had aggreed.50 euros for transfer 11km in Moldovia,i thinng is too much & If i knew it from the beggining,i wouldn't do it.I have a long history as a traveller worldwide & i Know very well what happens. The owner started shouting in Moldovan,& i shout also to the young guy with whom i'd made the aggrement to defend myself becase,i don't want to be treated this way by such people. The same night i had an appointment for massage, they told me they bring the massager from outside & the night the owner told me that he is busy & i did't make massage. The next morning we had to check out early & go to the airport by free transfer as they say on the booking platform & we did when we arrived.I thought to give her 10-20 euros for the transfer, she started shouting again in Moldovian & she was demanding the 50 euros otherwise she would call the police!!!she was blackmailing me but we had to go to the airport & i gave her the 50 euros & she was continouing shouting!!!Then i shout also to her & i told her i gave you the money what else do you want!!
The hotel itself was great. Beautiful gardens and really clean and well kept. The staff was exceptional/
The location is right in the heart of the city but the hotel is on a narrow hard to find street and you enter through a security door so it feels a bit like a compound. The street is very dark at night. I would not recommend this for a single female traveler.
The main member of staff dealing with guests was rude and ignorant. The breakfast consisted of stale bread and a bit of cheese and salami
Cleanliness! The hotel is full of green plants, beautiful! The garden With the swimming pool is also very well maintained. Good breakfast With great selection of Foods. Fast wi-fi.
Price of laundry: 7 eur Dogs barking all night just outside the garden. No fridge in room. The sheets are too small for the matresses, as a result, the sheet is located somewhere on the floor every morning. The personnel are nice to you, but one can hear they are not to each other. A lot of arguing and even yelling in the corridors.
The hotel is located at a quiet street close to the city center. Room (suite) was very good, even better than on the pictures. Very big and cleaned every day. Towels are also changed every day. Swimming pool is nice, enough beds and seating available. Breakfast was acceptable.
The staff asked on the second day for payment and insisted that I should pay in cash. They continued to ask for money every day until I paid. They charge 3 percent for using a credit card.
The bed the breakfast was poor
hotel insisted on a 50 lie surcharge fo using the credit card with which I registered. shower leaked and outlet blocked curtains fell down when drawn sheets were worn and unpleasant not even a bottle of water in the room breakfast finished at 9am and no chance to have it in room - far too early after a 16 hour day of traveling not at all happy
very dirty carpet, sheets crumpled and dirty, I think they have a good reason for non-white sheets. towels are dirty and with rust marks I slept full dressed and put one of my shirts on the pillow
really everything excellent the stuff the room the facilities all is fantastic
poor breakfast, not much sound insulation
very helpful and friendly personnel, a nice separated oases in the middle of pretty soviet style city
The access to the hotel is rather tricky, the street there is narrow and in terrible condition, especially problematic for the street bikes we were riding.
I enjoyed much my staying at Edem hotel! Thank you!
no resterant it the only high spot in mud hole, on a street you do not walk at night, I was only guest and the hotel was full of familly and staff lots of noise at night
