Once in the apartment and settled, all was fine. The dad who check us in was a delightful man. We were comfortable and the shower was good. For the price, we got what we expected.
...we got to town after dark and could not find the apartment - it was not marked and the map was poor. Since we were from the US the phone calls to the absent owner were expensive. His old dad let us in, and he spoke no English. the location was just a little out from central town
Owner very friendly and helpful, good breakfast. Good value. Close to shops etc
Room small but adequate. Only one shower for whole place - might be a problem if place is busy.
Zarko is the best host I have ever met. He knows the area perfectly and provides a lot of ideas to discover it. He is always available for his guests and creates a real "home" feeling.
The host was friendly and gave us some really helpful tips about the area. The room was clean and the breakfast was satisfying.
Small room for 3. Bathroom is outside the room.
We felt at home and were well looked after
Place a bit small for 3 adults
Good location and clean apartment
Zarko is a fantastic host and a great guy, he knows so much about Durmitor and the surrounding areas and gave great ideas of things to see that I never would have seen without him- like the Montenegro version of Stonehenge near Durmitor. He also gave great recommendaitons for eating in the town and was always ready with a cup of tea at the end of a hard day's hiking.
The place is a good starting point for exploring Durmitor National Park.
The owner was not there, but his parents. They did not speak and understand English, German, French or Spanish. It took more than one hour to make them understand that we booked an apartment. We were offered a really dirty apartment (the bathroom was distugsting...) which was not lockable (but the other rooms were not better). The most important for them was the money: We had to pay immediately after arrival, before seeing the apartment and more than the price for which we booked on booking.com (!!!). The day we left, the old man came to our apartment at 6.45 in the morning to ask for additional payment and he waited 30 minutes in the apartment while we prepared our luggage. That was sooo rude! We travelled all Montenegro, but this was the worst, dirtiest and most unfriendly place to stay. Never again!!
