One of the beds was a little squeaky, but there was an extra couch bed that was fine, so not really a problem.
We took the studio for seven days and it met perfectly our needs. The kitchenette had everything we needed, they provided us with a good baby cot and the room was comfortable and clean with quite good internet connection and well-functioning air-conditionning. There are mosquito nets on the sliding door and windows, so bugs weren't a problem for us. Our room had a lovely view over the olive grove. There, it is quiet and cool. There is a small children's playground with a small slide and a swing set which was perfect for our 1 year old, but which the other older children also seemed to enjoy. There is also a badminton table and small volleyball net. The beach, which is a very short walk away, is pebbly and quite beautiful. It is cleaned regularly. The beach was not too crowded when we went, especially early in the morning when baby wakes up! Next to the beach are several restaurants. They are not too bad. We especially liked the "Rocky Beach" resort next to the Utjeha beach. For 5 euro, you can rent a deck chair and use the pool. There is a pizzeria and also an "American Grill" and icecream bar etc that will deliver to your deck chair (additional price). The little shops on the opposite hill to the apartment (5 minutes walk) were adequate for our needs with dairy products, fresh produce, bread, cold cut meats, pasta, snacks and more. We survived fairly well without a car - there is not too much more to see within walking distance (apart from the beach and the few restaurants), but the staff was willing to drive us to nearby towns for a reasonable price. Ulcinj was worth the trip. There are taxis too, but they were a bit more expensive and less friendly! The staff were very friendly and kind, especially towards our little one! Oh, and there's a nice Japanese restaurant based in Bar called "Wasabi" that delivers. Overall, we really liked our stay and found the place child friendly and good value for money.
