The respect to the chef of the Hotel Cungu, he is the man on the right place, friendly and always helpful. Due to the hotel we have reasen to return! Mosquitoes during the dinner, a tribute to nature...

It is pretty good hotel, very friendly owner and english speaking, good service, spacious rooms for low price, condition air, tv, wi-fi,good bathroom, very good food (swedish buffet) E.T.C. In general is very good and so close from the sandy beach. Is no much to do over the evening/night; the center is 3km away and taxi is difficult to find.

Very relaxed atmosphere, really close to the beach (~50 m) and some shops, nice terrace outside, friendly family-run business (unfortunately only one spoke English) and great homemade food every day. There's a swarm of mosquitoes at night (a river is a few steps away from the house), so be sure to have lots of mosquito-repellents and wear long clothes at night.

Very comfortable room with a great sea view! The breakfast was excellent as was the service, everyone went out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay. Smail was great - he spoke excellent English, gave lots of helpful advice and even offered to drive me into town when he was heading that way so I could avoid taxi fare! Soundproofing not too good - a small noise in the hotel could be easily heard in my room. I think the tiled floors were beautiful but added to the problem. Just unlocking the room door created a loud noise which carried a long way...

We stayed at Apartments Cungu for three nights on a 9 night trip to Montengro. It's very convenient for the beach, which is a lovely deep sandy beach, running for 12km according to my guide book. Our trip, though in June and the weather was largely fine, was out of season by their standards so most of the nearby restaurants and stores were closed and the beach very quiet, but I think it would be a perfect spot for a family with children wanting a nice beach that time of year - probably not so good for young people looking for somewhere lively. It's a 4-5 euro taxi ride or hour walk into Ulcinj proper where there are more restaurants / cafes etc. The apartments were basic but well maintained and good value for money. The owner spoke good English, and when our taxi to take us to the bus station failed to arrive he drove us there. When we had a couple of problems working out how to make things work in our room they came and showed us how they worked very quickly. I would visit again, but probably a bit later in the season so there are more places to eat out.

Prima uitgebreid ontbijt, voor Nederlandse begrippen erg goedkoop. Vriendelijke eigenaar. Eigen balkonnetje. Onmogelijk te vinden, met moeite aan de hand van telefonische aanwijzingen een meeting point gevonden waar we opgehaald werden. Strand is saai en vies, overal zwerfafval, plaatsje zelf is ook nieta aan. Blij dat we alleen op doorreis waren, geen bestemming voor een langere vakantie!

Die Lage ist super, ein Paar Schritte vom Strand velika plaza, das Essen sehr gut, vielfältig und immer frisch, Parkplatz vor dem Haus und im Schatten... Empfehlenswert und sehr gut für klein und groß!!!
