Good location near the mountains and the old town. Kind & helpful owner. Breakfast.
Very close to old town & water
Can be noisy early in morning due to deliveries at shopping centre across the rd
The location and cleanliness was fine.
The guesthouse felt a little unfriendly and clinical. I felt the building was a little cheap as well.
Guest house is on the edge of the old town of Kotor. 5 minutes walk and you are in it. Also supermarket across the road and bakery 200 metres away. €3 taxi ride from the bus station. Owners picked us up but didn't drop us off. We had room 2 which had a balcony with great view of the mountains and castle/ fort but a bit of an ordinary view of the school at eye level. Apartment was well fitted out and roomy.
We were unlucky enough to be there when one apartment was being renovated which meant hammering, sawing and drills from 9am till 4pm. Also the school had a fire engine siren and extremely loud music one morning from 9am until 12pm. Maybe this was a one-off and we were just unlucky. No apology from owners Also staff were often not at their desk and hard to find when needed.
The owner was very helpful and sorted out rooms and car hire for us. It's a good location as it's right next to the old town but you don't need to put up with the bells!
It's a little old fashioned but clean, comfortable and very well-located! We had the attic room which was charming and had a nice balcony.
We had to carry our heavy bags up three flights of stairs.
Location close to Kotor old town. Friendly owner. Clean and modern apartment on top floor.
Although very modern our bathroom had no window which made it somewhat dark even with the lights on.
Location, cleanliness, helpful staff, balcony, spacious room
View to backyard
Location was excellent, 1 minute walk from the Old Town in Kotor. Staff were very helpful, organised transfers for us. Apartment was a good size and clean.
The accommodation was very well placed near the old town and beaches. Right opposite a shopping centre. It was very clean and quiet and the owners very friendly. Kotor is a beautiful place and I would recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting.
Nothing, except the rain!
Good value, clean, decent sized room. The guest house was quite near the 'beach' and not too far from the old town. Small kitchenette in the room, but we didn't use it. It was nice having a little balcony to sit outside.
Right next to old town and new shopping centre. Double bath - absolutely brilliant!!
We were very happy with choosing Tianis Guesthouse for our week of holidays. It was very close to the old city centre & a small pebbles beach with a nice bar (Baywatch), but still was outside the crowded areas. Even though it is said that a public parking is available for 0.6EUR / hour, the staff offered us a free parking place behind the hotel (we asked for it in advance of our arrival). The parking area was very narrow and when crowded was quite hard to park the car, but one of the guys at the reception helped us, so if you need it, just ask for it :) They also have some good tours. The staff was always very friendly and helpful.
The doors & lockers would need to be replaced as a lot of them seem not to work properly.
Pleasant room. Good bed. Good location, only a few minutes from the old town.
Must unpersonal treatment of guests and most unfriendly staff of my whole one month Balkan travel. Upon arrival I was shouted at: do you have reservation? And: passport. That was it. Balcony is shared with other rooms - no privacy - and looks out on a shopping centre. Wifi only worked in one corner of the room. Air condition very poor, not enough for the size of the room, which was under the roof.
Friendly staff, great location and great value for the money
Not enough natural light in the bedroom
Location and vladimir
perfect location, very helpful staff
our apartment was a bit noisy
Guesthouse Tianis was amazing for our 4 night stay in Kotor. Zeljka, Vladimir and Milosh were very friendly, extremely accommodating, and always available to help with anything. They were able to arrange personalized tours for us, we hired kayaks from them directly and were offered a lift to the bus stop which was lovely! The location is perfect, just a 5 minute walk from the old town, so close enough to the highlights of the town, but far enough for some quiet evenings. The next time we visit Kotor we will be staying at Guesthouse Tianis again, and we would highly recommend them to anyone!
Very well run family concern , just about the best location one could get ,on the edge of the old city but sufficiently away from the babble of noise and activity if can sometimes become
We too had the top apartment and the facilities are good - own shower / WC. The most comfortable night's sleep in ages; Also quality shopping centre Camelija opposite is convenient!
No problems sleeping in the whole stay, so no complaints at all.
Situaded near the old town. It's just a 5 min walk. A shopping mall is just across the road. Nice spacious room.
Ask in the reception for parking lot, if you're arriving by car
Too close to a small river, hard to keep flys and bugs away.
I recomend tianis guesthouse, its one min Walk from old city and we had all we needed. We arrived late night and the couple who runs it Met us with warmt and showed us around:) Nice apartment with a BIG balcony:)
Nice room and very clean. Location couldn't be any better. Private parking. Charming terrace area. Nice staff.
