Boasting a prestigious location in the Sveti Stefan vacation village, an islet 3 miles southeast of Budva, Hotel Adrovic was built in a Baroque style with elements of a medieval castle.

Score from 119 reviews Very good
The hotel is located in the center of the old town. The stuff is very good and try to help you all the time. The room is very nice.
The blanket can be thicker.
Perfect location just near the main gate so not far to walk from the carpark. They have a card that allows free parking at another carpark about 200m away so ask about that. Our room had a sea view with a tiny balcony, gorgeous to watch the changing light sparkling on the water. Breakfast on the terrace in the square was lovely if a bit chilly in late October, but peaceful ( we were the only guests having breakfast) - we could have eaten inside but the decor and music put us off
The decor - dark, cavern-like and really hideous lighting under the fake marble sink (which we did manage to switch off) and Greek poetry made of stone letters stuck on the ceiling over our bed - I was worried they might fall on me in my sleep! Also the bar has awful Greek style wall paintings of strangely proportioned naked people, very dim lighting, and annoying music.
Everything except the parking. The staff went way beyond the norm, especially Svetlana and Dragana (hope I spelled them correctly). Highly recommended.
Parking was a bit of a problem. Eventually it was straightened out but there is a dispute between the hotel and the owner of the lot. I got caught in the middle. Eventually the hotel made it right.
The hotel position in the heart of Kotor is wonderful.
Very big problem with too loud music in several bar of the city center. I think that hotel and restaurants owners should understand that the noise of a too loud music is not fair. If someone wants to dance go to discotheques and not in a marvelous city such Kotor! So, difficult to sleep until 2 o'clock on Saturday night. The bathroom door was impossible to close (they told us they already know that). The door to go to the shower impossible to open completely because of the ceiling too small (we were in the suite room).
Decor throughout the hotel, large room, lots of funk! Very clean. Front desk staff friendly & helpful. Location in old town was perfect for walking everywhere. Stayed in off season (Oct) so not as many other tourists.
"Disco" next door on the Friday night that we were there - very loud late in the night and we were in the "most quiet" room per our request when booking.
The location in the heart of the Old Town of Kotor is perfect. We had one of the rooms with a balcony (think there are 2) looking onto the small square and and onto the overlooking mountains. Our room was very chic with a lovely big bathroom making it almost a mini suite. Breakfast is served until ONE PM! Loved this hotel, loved Kotor and all of its quirky pubs and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.
Too noise at the night time.
Everything was perfect
One room from our party was not ready at 15hours, a few things was broken in the bathroom and it was not possible to use the safe deposit (Small light, and not attatched)
Location inside the old town but impossible to reach by car.
Missing towells, poor wi-fi , staff with poor english, breakfast slow and they never bring what you ask because they don't understand english, elevator broken, shower with poor pression...need more?
Great location , interesting decor , good modern bathroom, helpful staff
If you're a light sleeper like me , beware. There's a restaurant next to the hotel with very loud music until 1.30 am most nights. It's not the hotels fault. The call the police (which is probably oiled by the restaurant ) but nothing is done. If you can sleep with earplugs like my husband the hotel is for you
Loud music playing outside the hotel every night until 1am
While it is a prime piece of real estate, and we loved our room (the iota, on the top floor), the made our visit wonderful!
Only that our visit was too short.
We stayed here of for 3 nights & loved it. The reception staff were top notch, the rooms beautifully decorated and the location / views from the rooms superb. I would definitely recommend this place for a stay in beautiful kotor old town. A nice base to explore the beautiful area surrounds. Free parking outside the walls of the town (an easy 5 mins walk). The day time receptionist (she had a Russian name, but was from Serbia - sorry I forgot her name) deserves a special mention for her kindness and hospitality! The restaurant staff could do with some lessons in friendliness from her!
Only problem some might find is the noise from the bar below Thursday - Saturday night. Nothing some ear plugs won't sort and the comfort makes up for.
Great position right in the middle of the old town, so everything within very easy walking distance. The staff on reception were very friendly and welcoming, and we were taken up to the room where almost everything was explained clearly. We didn't eat dinner in the hotel, preferring to explore a little of the Kotor nightlife, but we did have breakfast which was of only average quality and was a little confusing because they just asked us what we wanted from the menu with no explanation of how many dishes we could order. On departure there was a golf buggy available to take us and our luggage back to the car park (about 400m away) but with two other couples checking out ahead of us we decided to walk which was easy enough (and quicker).
Unfortunately the number one requirement of a hotel was missing, i.e. the ability to get a good night's sleep. The relentless bass beat and loud vocals from the nearby nightclub continued until 2:00am on this Friday night. The techno shower would have been great if only they had the foresight to explain to us, and the other confused guests in the nearby rooms, that the control was broken, saving us the need to go down to reception and saving the staff the need to come up and show us what to do. Basics really.
Location was wonderful and the staff helpful. We asked for a quiet room and we got it. Thanks to the staff. Breakfast okay, pancakes recommended.
Friendly staff, good food and great location
It was great.
Both nights there was head thumping music til 1.30am from the bar opposite/next door. We could not sleep. The receptionist said they cant do anything about it. I would NEVER have stayed there had I known. Ruined a gorgeous hotel stay. It goes on EVERY night.
location, staff, breakfast
Great location, superb service and yummy breakfast
Our room was on the same side as the shops and could hear loud music from a nearby club until late which was a bit frustrating
Great location in old town
Noisy with music at night.
Lovely receptionists, very helpful and keen to please.
Food. Breakfast was bad, servers were not great... moody.
Fantastic hotel, very friendly staff - and great breakfast
A noisy bar next door
Excellent location, within the Old City walls. Staff, food and comfort levels are all to a very high standard. Very enjoyable stay.
A small point but we think worth mentioning, the breakfast menu could do with fruit & pastries being made available.
