Hotel Casa del Mare Montenegro    

It is a family owned hotel. Not big, modern and clean. My room had a lovely balcony directly facing the water. What really makes the hotel special is the people. From the owners of the hotel to staff, everyone is making great effort to look after their guests. I stayed here for 4 nights in May and really enjoyed my stay. On one evening while having my dinner, I asked the hotel restaurant staff how to get to the nearest post office to send some postcards. After my dinner, the hotel offered to post the cards for me. Location wise, it is well connected to Herceg Novi (every 30 mins, bus to Herceg Novi stops right outside the hotel). From Herceg Novi, it is easy to get further connecton buses to Croatia as well as towns around the Kotor Bay. The hotel is very clean, with lovely view overlooking the Kotor Bay. The restaurant is modern. I think they have different menus for peak season and off peak season. The menu I had seemed to be a shortened version, however all the dishes I tried were lovely prepared and very tasty. Great hotel, excellent service; highly recommend. I would definitely come back myself.

Nikola took excellent care of us. The room was beautiful. We had an excellent view. The breakfast was the best we had on our trip.

Hotel design is beautiful , rooms very luxurious and clean, staff very friendly and helpful. Beach across the street private , lovely and very cozy. Restaurant with fantastic food, wine, very elegant and proffessional service! Selection of music absolutely extraordinary!! We love everything and enjoy our stay there!

Lovely small family run hotel as described. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Nice little restaurant with good food. Across a road from a very small beach with nice beach bar (free loungers and beach towels). Beach is down so road not a problem. Lovely views across the bay.

Didn't not like anything, but not knowing much about Montenegro, when researchin where to stay, thought this property was in Herceg Novi. It is actually approx 10kms away, but as it turned out really liked the location. The bus to Herceg Novi stopped right outside the hotel and ran every 30 mins - cost eu1.30 E/w, so that made a nice day trip and just up the road was a ferry service over the bay to Tivat (which was free for foot passengers) or Eu4 for a car. One evening we went into Tivat for a change and that was nice as the ferry runs all night! For us actually turned out to be a great location. Not really any other bars/restaurants in Kamenari. Beach bar serves 'snacks'.

All the staff are very nice people. I recommend this hotel for romantic people. Not for familly. It is a very quiet place and is nice as it is. Food is very good. The landscape is overwhelming .

As we were on honeymoon, we really appreciated the way our room was prepared for us - very nice surprise. We also get a bottle wine as e present from the hotel. The cleaness in the room was impeccable ans the staff was really kind. Other plus is the parking lot for each room in the hotel. The beach was really the best one in the area

If you are travelling without car, there aren't many possibilities to see any interesting things. Kamenari is a really small village without any other restaurants or pubs.

We liked complete atmosphere in the hotel, friendly and very professional service with warm welcome. Superb restaurant. Beach is very private and cozy / very good for relaxing. Hotel position is very good for those who want to explore Montenegro /nearness of Kotor, Tivat, Budva and Herceg Novi and other tourists attractions.

Hotel is located by the road, but we didnt mind, because there was no noise in the room, or on the beach and we really enjoyed in great sea and mountain view.

Everything was simply exellent... The staff was fantastic and the chef was "the best ever" . We certainly will come back again...

The location of the hotel is quite good because it is near Kotor and in a calm part of the bay. You have sea front view and all the facilities for a nice stay. In the reception they were very kind, even though turism in Montenegro has to be improved. They could have more information to provide to customers about the country, police rules and boundaries.

In the restaurant they were a little rude and the noise between rooms could be isolated.

Very nice hotel! Very nice personell. Clean rooms,! Very good support if you have some questions. Hotel stuff tries to fulfill your wishes immediately. So the service is at a high level also the comfort of the rooms. Good food in the restaurant. Also you have wifi access in the rooms (for a 4*-hotel this is or should be standard!) All in all it is a very good atmosphere and we really enjoyed our stay there with our 3- years old daughter

Breakfast was quite poor! Too small refrigerator Hotel is not cheap! (For that price also dinner should be included) Own beach - not 100% free of glass! So watch out. Located near Herceg Novi in Kamenari, so it is better to have a own car to travel around and see all beauties of Montenegro! Otherwise it would be boring (at least for me) to sit only in Kamenari without having the chance to travel by my own car :)

We really enjoyed our staying in Casa del Mare. The hotel is small, but nice. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The room was clean and fully equipped, though, in fact, 38 meters includes a balcony, which is big. The private beach was tiny and at the same time well planned, so it is more than enough. What I'd like to mention is the restaurant. At first breakfast seemed rather poor, but it turned out to be sufficient. Besides, some dishes could be ordered. In the evening you may order there something from the menu. It may be a bit more expensive, but absolutely worth trying, as the food is the tastiest in the neighborhood.

I guess that this hotel won't suit families with small kids and those who like extreme ways of travelling, but it is perfect for a calm and relaxing vacation. The location is not right in the life center, but easily reachable by bus or ferry. The road is really just in front of the hotel. As a Moscow citizen, I can say that we have same wide and crowded streets in the quietest areas of the city.

Apartment was nice decorated, clean. Staff is very friendly, except the final bill at check-out!

Hidden costs for an isolated hotel!! I have booked hotels many times on Booking.com. Every time I was satisfied. Be carefull with hotel Casa del Mare Montenegro ! On the first page you can choose an apartment for 4 guests, but somewhere on the next pages is written "the room rate is based on 2 guests". That means that you will pay 20 Euro per person per day for extra bed, although there are not extra beds! We had a family apartment with sea view, and reservation summary was "3 nights, 1 Room, 4 Guests, Family apartment". You will find out at check out that you must pay extra, although there is plenty of space for 4 people (even for 5)! The hotel has an isolated location - there are some private houses and a few hotels nearby, no terraces or restaurants, no pedestrian sidewalks. In front of the hotel is the main road that is very crowded, and after this road is a small private beach with stones, not sand. The water seems clean although nearby is a ferry with frequent races. I chose this hotel for "superb sea view" - actually the apartment had a lateral small sea view (between 2 buildings) only for living room, with a small teracce with 2 chaires and no space for a table. Bedroom has a queen-size bed (not king-size) and is small, no TV. Breakfast was suitable for a 3 star-hotel, not 4 stars. Instead, the prices in restaurant are for 4 star-hotel - very expensive. There is a small supermarket nearby - 5 min walking and a small family restaurant ("Konoba" vis a vis of ferry).

We really enjoyed stay in this hotel. Young hotel stuff helped us a lot and was extremely kind. We loved the beach which is made for enjoying and relaxing and there is not a lots of people like on other beaches, very private. Warmed greetings to hotel Casa del Mare !! We have really enjoyed of staying in Hotel Casa del Mare Montenegro. This small boutique hotel on the first coast line has brilliant view at the bay and mountains. But the main treasure of this hotel it is a staff. They made our rest saturated of positive emotions and endless pleasure. Despite that it is a small hotel it has an excellent restaurant with chief who every day creates miracle dishes from fresh mediterranean fish. Desserts are amazing too.

Casa del Mare is a small Hotel however very professional and very friendly. Comparing other Hotels this gives flexibility and in our case we were permitted to have a late checkout for no additional payment. You may think that the Hotel may appear expensive however the prices for accommodations in Montenegro are not as low as you may expect beside you chose to stay in a Hostel where you have to share the room with others. Montenegro has also a nickname to be the second Switzerland. As I could see most of the rooms are facing the sea and have a small terrace, balcony. The location request from you to be mobile. The port is not far from the Hotel and you can use the Ferry to cross the side efficient if you continue your travel towards Budvar. There is a very small beach but to be fair it is enough to have a swim if you want. The Hotel is at the main road of Montenegro however during late hours the traffic goes against 0 we did not experience any noise during our stay. The facility is modern and has a touch of design. You can expect comfort. The toilets are not very specious and we did not have a bath but you are next to the sea we talk about 20steps so do you really need a bath? The rooms are specious so that is a plus particulary if you wana stay for more days. The food choice was good and very tasty. The hotel prepares everything individually so ask for some nice omelettes and pancakes. There was enough food to have a good start to the day and don´t be ashamed to ask for more if you like. It is normal that the portions are standard but if you like more you can get more without any hesitation. All together we were really happy with the stay and can not complain about anything to be honest. All felt just right and very welcoming.

The staff was very nice and helpful with maps and good suggestions on what to visit. The breakfast was very rich and varied, and you could take twice of whatever you liked.

The pictures on the website are somehow misleading. This is an hotel on the side of a main road, with traffic during the whole day and night. You can hear cars and tracks even with window and shades closed. You don't have the feeling of relax and quite. The view is nice, but there is the road anyway in between. The beach is more a platform below the road, on the other side respect to the hotel, very small and anyway it was not available yet (end of April). This is an hotel where to stop just for one night during a trip, infact there were clients arriving late at night and leaving early in the morning, and you can hear them on the stairs. We were in a room (23) with a door/mirror communicating with another room, through which you could hear everything (talking, coughing, tv, etc!). There is water coming out from under the shower cabin and they didn't dry it after remaking the room on the first day, so on the second day water added to water and the bathroom floor was quite messy.

We vonden het hotelletje in zijn geheel echt heel fijn. Er hing een aangename sfeer, de inrichting was eigentijds en fris. Een leuke kamer, lekkere productjes in de badkamer, een origineel en heel lekker ontbijt. Een zeer goede en vriendelijke ontvangst. Leuk strandje met relaxbedden waar je niet meer uit weg wilt...En zeer goed gelegen om de wondermooie baai van Kotor te bezoeken; achter de hoek ontvouwen zich de allermooiste panorama's, ook de nabijheid van de autoferry om de baai over te steken is superhandig!

Enig minpuntje: het ligt aan de baan, wat toch een beetje geluidsoverlast met zich meebrengt tegen de ochtend.

Отель пратически семейный, очень уютный и маленький - 8 номеров. Персонал весьма радушен. Можно общаться по-русски, поймут и объяснятся. Вполне приличный повар: дорада-гриль порадовала. Всё спокойно и доверительно.

Если главная цель вашей поездки в Черногорию - море, пляж, купание, то в принципе лучше ехать не в Бока-Которский залив. Море здесь холоднее чем на побережье (Будва, Тиват и т.п.) - в залив впадают холодные горные речки. Пляжей нет. Отель стоит прямо у дороги, трафик очень приличный - достаточно шумно. +в 100 метрах паромная переправа, для путешествий удобно, но вид не улучшает и воздух не озонирует. Свой небольшой пляж у отеля есть через ту самую дорогу, но соответственно находится под проходящими машинами. Засыпан мелкими привозными камушками, вход в воду сразу глубокий.
