Good Location and easy to find

Quite noisy and the hotel was not renovated yet (but announced, that this will happen).

Hospitality, friendly staff, fair food, excellent location.

Quite old hotel; it's in the process of renovation, but I hope that hospitality will stay :)

The furnitures of the towlet didn't like at all

Although dated, I was in awe of the grandness of this hotel. We chose this hotel as it is close to the football stadium. The breakfast was varied and good. Staff were magnificent and they even added the personal touch of making a beautiful St George cake for breakfast.

Dated, felt like a 1960's hotel. Our bathroom had no shower curtain and hardly any tiles on the wall. Appalling hotel for the price.

The cleaners were really very friendly and sociable. The female receptionist was also very helpful. The bed was comfy. Double spiral stair case reminded us of home.

The shower unit was a bit 1970's, but great for a bit of nostalgia. Plaster peeling off walls.

Central to city centre

Arrived late at night and was given 2 very shabby dirty rooms. The bathroom was also very dirty. Awoken at 7am by a workmen drilling a hole in our balcony & also knocking the balcony wall down. It was only then that we realised there was major works going on in the hotel, they are building an extension. If you can imagine your worst hotel experience then this is it. In the process of sending a complaint letter to booking.com with photos and videos of what went on.

The staff were excellent,hotel is very clean and perfectly situated. Although renovation is underway it wasn't too noisy

Had trouble sleeping. Room next to flat roof and with the heavy rain was very noisy

Location and price

The hotel has that socialist era (though now ageing) charm about it. In its day it would have been the place to stay - now it is a bit of a relic. The location is great and breakfast was good.

Keeping warm in the room was a problem.

Very good location, friendly staff an good beds

Decoration of the hotel is very sober and needs modernisation. It is good Hilton makes an investment in this historic building. Everything is very old and needs te be replaced. Breakfast is nothing special.

It is a historic hotel with socialist architechture which i love. Furneture and the bathrooms are old. It is loceted in the hearth of the city. Staff was helpful, they arranged a rental car for me.

everything is old, worn out, AC does not work rooms are too small staff is not professional

the location made it all for us as arriving late and taking the train to Belgrade early the day after

the noise as already mentioned by other fellow travellers is very loud indeed. However, we left the hotel at 09:00, so when the noise started around 08;00 we were already fully awake. The retro style could be fun if it wasn't for the fact that the bathroom was genuinely very dirty. The bath was dark yellow instead of white and plenty of hair on the floor was not the best welcome ever.

From the outside it looked like a typical communist building of the 50's or 60's , and the inside confirmed that it has not moved on since then . That said , it still retained much of it's undoubted original splendour . The ground floor was impressive with it's magnificent staircase and marble floors , and it must have been quite something in it's heyday . The rooms were small and cluttered with 1950's bathroom fittings and looked sadly faded . I understand that the Hilton group have acquired it , and so presume it will undergo a major facelift . I just hope they retain much of it's original character .

Everything! We've read that is was old and needed renewal. Everything was in order and working beatifully. Hotel staff very helpful. Breakfast was superb. It may have been a 5star hotel in old times and it keeps the charm. If you wanna go hurry, HIlton has just bought it.

Very helpful and nice staff. Two minute walk from the city center, near some green areas and the taxi costed only 1,30€ to get to the bus station.

It is quite old; it needs some renovation.
