Some minor grumbles (I) moving room after settling in so that maintenance work could be undertaken by the hotel (ii) poor internet connection!

Friendly staff

We chose to stay in a "studio" which was the smallest of 3 available options, I.E. studio, apartment and presidential suite. Despite the name the studio was in fact pretty spacious and due to its unconventional layout consisted almost of 2 separate rooms with some minor partitioning between them. The first room was where you got from the hall, it contained a small kitchen counter with a two-plate range, a sink and a set of kitchen cabinets and drawers. There was also a 4 person dining table and a sliding door wardrobe in this room. The other room had a huge double bed, a computer table, a 32" lcd tv on a TV-table and a large armchair that could unfolded into an extra bed. There was access to the balcony from this room. The bathroom was nice with everything functioning well. In general the studio was very comfortable for 2 people and pretty worth the money we paid for it. The Internet was available via a cable connection (cable provided at the reception) directly in the room which was fine for us. Otherwise WiFi was available in the hotel lobby. The breakfast was moderate but well worth the money paid. It consisted of a buffet with cold dishes, salads and pastry. In addition you could order warm dishes made to order, e.g. fried/scrambled eggs with cheese and ham, boiled frankfurters, etc. There was a small swimming pool with sunbeds around it in the hotel front yard which was nice however we didn't get to use it as we preferred to stay at the beach. The staff was very friendly and willing to help at all times with anything varying from an extra set of shower gels to arranging an excursion to neighbouring attractions. In general this hotel offers great value for money and we would definitely love to come back here again.

All our family was completely pleased with our staying at this beautiful hotel. If we next time come to Montenegro, we'll stay only at Hotel del Mar. The stuff was very friendly, the daily-cleaning and breakfasts were perfect too.

The htel is in a great location with your pick of 3 beaches. Amazing scenery on the drive down from croatia. The staff could not do enough for us. The breakfasts were really tasty and the room was superb equipped with its own kitchenette.

Very quiet and friendly place. The staff was very helpfull, making efforts not only to be polite, but to really help you. Location is not near the shore, but good enough to reach different beaches. The own underground garage makes very convenient renting a car - you can just keep it there. The design of the room is very interesting - the bedroom is separated from diningroom with two doors. When they both are opened, it is possible to walk the apartment around. Our children liked this very much - they ran one after another in a circle. The rooms are very quiet, we never heard our neighbours although the hotel was full. The air conditioning is very good. They use floor-located conditioners, the cold air goes up, so it is possible to keep it working and dont affraid to get sick.

The balcons are very close to each other, just several meters apart. So if two neibours are sitting on their balcons, they can see what each other is doing. The balcons at the first floor is just above the pool, so if some one noisy is swimming there, it is possible to share the sounds of his joy. The view from the room very strongly depends on the exact room. In 1st floor apartment we had a view of the hotel pool, nearby houses and a part of distant mountain.

The Hotel Del Mar is properly designed and accomadated for the visitors needs. It is comfortably located, 5 min afoot from the Petrovac main beach and 8 min from Lisice beach (the better). Not far from the Petrovac center and not facing any busy road. It is very calm in the Hotel, also no sounds can be heard while in the room. Breakfasts are very good and diverse. The Hotel staff is very kind and always ready to help in quite different situations (they obviously WANT to help the guests).

It is still quite new, modern, clean and quiet. Very helpful and friendly staff speak some Russian and good English. Good breakfast.The swimming pool though not very big is good for kids. 2 minutes to one beach, 10 to another.

We liked the calm - clean - friendly atmosphere. The size was good too. Everyone was very accommodating, reversing a parking place etc... Breakfast was lovely and the room very big - with a lovely balcony. Close to the beach and very reasonably priced!

Cleaner missed the odd thing - bin wasn't emptied for a few days, dish was left in washing up and loo roll wasn't replaced. Room had a slught smoky smell on arrival.

Hotel Del Mar was delightful from the very helpful staff to the comfortable and well appointed room (and ours was the basic studio) to the location and the breakfast. We will be staying here many times in the future!

Everything was excellent, staff is very friendly, small hotel is very comfortable for staying in quiet place, everything is close to the hotel.

Clean spacious rooms with nice balcony. Friendly staff and full tasty breakfast. Good value for the price. Comfy bed and thin pillows!

No signage on the front of the hotel. Couldn't see the sign on the roof from the street level. Wish the pool had been filled. Toilet was awkward, squished in behind the bathroom door.

An excellent hotel with excellent service.

The 4pax appartements are superbe when travelling with small kids. The Staff is friendly. Free garage. It is not beachside and the pool is more to be called tub. We arriver in early april - no time for beach.

Rapport qualité prix en basse saison Accueil excellent : la réceptionniste fut très accueillante et serviable. Elle nous a même indiqué un superbe restaurant sur le port de Petrovac.
