Owner is good russian, english and serbian speaker. Good clean room. Best i.ve ever seen bathroom in apartmans.
No view. WiFi is not connecting in the rooms.
if it is raining your room might be full of water. it happened to us. But the staff was very kind they gave our money's half back.
Extremely friendly staff (I even got a welcome raki at my arrival…), beautiful, tastefully furnished rooms which have all the comfort of a hotel room. In the big common room while checking your mails you feel like the owner of a palazzo in a historical epoch, looking down to one of Kotor’s charming little squares.
Great location and really special place to stay to get a feel for Kotor. Tamara was an excellent host, very friendly and gave us great advice. Facilities are excellent but so many restaurants on doorstep, it was too tempting to stay in. Would definitely stay again.
The only negative I could come up with is that Kotor may not be suitable for young families staying as most of the surrounding bars play music till midnight-1am. Wi-fi didn't work in our room either but given the age of the house and the thickness of the walls, suggest getting wi-fi log in from bar downstairs :) Worked a treat.
Location, decoration of the rooms, cleannes are all fine. Staff is helpful and warm. Overall, I can offer the hotel to my friends.
The weather was fine and we could sleep closing the window, so we didn't have problem but you may be uncomfortable if you're so sensitive about the noise.
Good location, clean and cute hostel with an air of Romeo and Juliet housing.
No breakfast available and loud music from a bar downstairs until 01.00.
It is a wonderful house in the heart ot Kotor - Old City. From here you can visit very easily the fortress. The place is like a medivial castle.
We could not sleep very well. On the ground floor there is bar with live music. I enjoied the voice of the singer free of charge, but untill 2 a.m - it is too much.
A very warm welcome from Tamara who was able to let us check in early and was very helpful, booking us a taxi for the airport and offering drinks when we arrived very hot! The room was clean and comfortable and the location is great.
The room was quite small and there was not much space to move around the bed! We stayed elsewhere in Kotor and had more space for less money but as we were only there for one night we didn't mind too much. Also there is loud music til late so not the best if you go to bed early.
Excellent welcome from Tamara & she was so friendly and helpful in many ways. The location is in old town which is great for eating out and exploring. The room and house furnishings are lovely and very clean.
We couldn't use Wifi in our room and had to go upstairs to the communal kitchen & dining room where there was a good signal.
The owner/manager and her staff were very gracious and helpful. The house was beautifully rehabbed - beautiful kitchen.
No guest shampoo/soap was provided... (but we didn't ask either).
The room was clean and breakfast served was satisfactory.
The hotel was located in a noisy area, and had no elevator. The room was extremely small.
Tamara was a excellent host who went out of her way to make us feel at home. We enjoyed home made rakija with her! The room was very cosy, and well located in the old town.
The wifi occasionally dropped out. The neighbourhood was a bit a loud but I had earplugs so it wasn't too bad!
The staff Olga had been more than helpful, came to pick me up and help me to go to the car park when leaving, all along keeping good liaison with me, felt comfortable.
Wifi network inside the room was very poor, could not use at all, that was not very helpful.
Location is definitely the prior reason we've chosen this place.
In my opinion, today's accommodation business should include only the room/apartment itself. Small room, small bed. I can only agree with those who wrote that the air-conditioner and noise isolation is not good! Housekeeper, or like he called himself "Manager" is from Russia, 45-55 year old. He does not speak any languages at all, though he had "luck" with us as we Russian is mother tongue for us. In spite of this, he could not explain us normally anything: what to taste, where to go, what to see (except obvious places like Market and Fortress, hence you can see it by your own eyes). Manager lives in same building with his Russian wife. You can feel this old "Soviet" smell all over the place. Manager or his wife decide themselves when to open their self-service kitchen. It means, you won't be able to use neither dishes or tableware even in day-time always. Furniture is also looks like the housekeeper brought it from Soviet Union, all dark and without taste. We had a longer trips over all Western Balkans, so wanted to clean our clothes, of course paying for it. But manager told us that we cannot use their machine. Surely, we understood that they have one. Housekeeper told us to go somewhere to clean it, living downtown he could not normally explain the address of laundry which was 15 minutes away from Old Town. Good advice: try to find out who is the housekeeper or manager in your apartment in Montenegro, because there are a lot of Russians! The biggest problem with them is LACK of service. One day electricity was down, but after we saw that it is not the place's fault as there was no electricity in whole Kotor or Old town at least! Unfortunately, we left this beautiful "Pearl" Kotor with such "taste"...
Nice room. Clean and good location.
I could not recommend this to anyone. I feel sorry for the owner who is trying to make a living but we did not sleep for two nights. There is a bar/ night club immediately under the room and it played rock concert volume music till 1am. Then there were two hours of clean up with bottles banging and vacuum cleaning and lots of chat. Ear plugs did not stop the noise as it went straight through us. Such a shame.
-Good value for money, -Friendly and helpful owners -Comfortable and very well-kept room, for the price -Next to a very nice wine bar -The air con and nice shower was really welcomed in August! -Generally very impressed!
Was quite hard to find, typing the address into google maps didn't work!
Nice place.. Good service.
