Club Hotel Riviera Montenegro is peacefully set on the outskirts of Herceg Novi, within 5 km from the Old Town. It is surrounded by greenery and has a sandy and concrete, 700-metre-long private beach....
Score from 77 reviews Good
Everything. We stayed for 5 nights in the Dubaii room. The room was superb, the view spectacular, the staff very friendly and helpful.
Nothing to dislike
Staff was very friendly. Beautiful finishing. Good location. clean
the bed was as hard as stone.
Young enthusiastic staff were absolutely marvellous.
Weather wasn't great so we missed not having a lounge to sit in. Restaurant a bit pretentious.
We enjoyed the location 5 min drive from the walled city. Dinner at the hotel was marvelous: the food and ambiance at the terrace. Service is wonderful at all levels: friendly, knowledgable and attentive staff.
Location is perfect. Perfect place to watch sunsets. Very friendly staff. Room was nice and comfortable (each is designed differently). Breakfast was good. Free parking. Quiet. Restaurant right on the bay which is beautiful. Overall style of hotel is very nice. You can swim in the bay from the small private beach. Would definitely stay here again. One of the highlights of our trip.
It's a pity that the pool is kind of in the middle and not really in a place you'd want to use. Some of the rooms are close to the reception and it gets loud and echo-y for those rooms. Restaurant has great views and food is fine but a bit overpriced for what it is. Would rather they do a smaller menu but do all the things really well.
The service was great. The hotel is very well maintained in all areas. Friendly staff and the location is stunning! Very quiet and peaceful.
I didn't not like the food but it could be improved. Had better food in Restaurants in kotor old town but eating outside in the hotel is pretty special.
Absolutely beautiful. The most tranquil place I've visited. Rooms are outstanding. 100% recommend.
We stayed 4 nights in Deluxe room. The hotel was spotless clean. The staff was very friendly & helpful. The hotel was in a very pleasant location. We would stay there again.
The price of the food at the restaurant was very high, so other than the first night (after being charged 184 euro for starter, main & wine) we ate at other local restaurants which were very nice.
It was amazing experience, location was great, view was awesome, staff is really friendly and we loved indoor jacuzzi :)
Restaurant was a bit pricey, but food was great :)
Perfect boutique hotel, strongly recommended... Stuff is unbeleivably friendly. Just perfect.
Overall it was a great experience! The staff was very helpful and attentive, food was amazing! Very romantic setting by the bay, actually I can say that it is the most romantic restaurant in Kotor.. Thanks to all the staff that made our stay memorable!
1.The location with an absolutely stunning view 2. Free parking and wifi 3. Delicious complementary breakfast buffet 4. Rooms are cleaned several times a day and guests clothes are beautifully folded with every cleaning of the room 5. Receptionist and hotel employees are the friendliest we have had out of all the Europen hotels on the Europe trip (and we stayed at the Hilton and Marriott!!!) Especially the two employees Lazar and Georgiy had great Dnglish and were super friendly and helpful
1. Having traveled from the United States I didn't have my own blow dryer and at this hotel in stead of a regular blow dryer they have blow dryers having on the bathroom wall and they are not very powerful. It took forever drying my hair. It's a small thing compared to the 5 star service, amazing view and great food.
Highly modern, excellent rooms, very, very clean and really friendly, welcoming professional staff and excellent and quiet location
Plunge pool is somewhat small
Lovely friendly staff and great views
Excellent spa and amazing views.
The design of the hotel is beautiful. The food at the restaurant was great. But extremely expensive (100 euro for 2 people without drinks).
We stayed at the Dubai suite. The suite is beautiful and has a gorgeous view. However, our bed was extremely uncomfortable (to the extent we both walked away from what was supposed to be a 3 day relaxing stay with dark circles under our eyes for our lack of sleep, and body aches). The bed also made terribly loud creaking noises that prevented us from sleeping. We told reception, but nothing was done to remedy the situation. To make matters worse, the air conditioner broke in the hotel. We complained multiple times since we had no air conditioner for two nights and their response was simply: "people don't like to work on the weekends." In addition, from our room you could hear reception and people walking up and down the stairs. Breakfast was also disappointing since it was always a series of cold vegetables and chicken tenders that were apparently left over from the night before. Our first morning they even ran out of coffee! As other reviewers have said, the pool is not really a pool. The area to lay out by the bay is nice, but service is non-existent. If the lay-out beds are wet from the night before, you have to dry them yourself. Whether there are towels available after a swim is hit or miss. We got tired of waiting for a waiter to order some drinks. Since they never came, we walked over to the bar (which is located across the street) and ordered - our drinks still didn't come. It took a second time of going up to the bar for us to finally get the drinks. I would save my money and stay at one of the neighboring places which have much better service. The Forza Mare still has a very long way to go to become a 5 star.
The staff was excellent! Very friendly and accommodating. Sanka, George and lazar were wonderful. Hotel is beautiful and the view is stunning. Food was delicious.
The bed was not very comfortable. Very hard. Hard to believe because everything else was excellent.
Lovely setting, very nice staff . Clean and comfortable rooms.
Breakfast wasn't for a 5 stars hotel
The staff did not inform us of ridiculous laundry prices when I asked if they did laundry. This was not fair, as for a few items it cost over one hundred euro. I handed in my laundry at 4pm shortly after we arrived and it was returned back to us by 7pm. I wasn't sure how it had dried so fast but on closer inspection the next day I noticed an item had been shrunk considerably as a result of being tumble dried. To pay so much to have my clothes ruined was a huge disappointment. When I emailed the hotel with my concern and photo evidence of the ruined top they were absolutely rude and denied having put it in the dryer, saying it must have been ruined elsewhere, but it seems impossible that clothes dry in such a short time period. I would never recommend someone to stay here the customer service is absolutely terrible.
The owner, his family and all members of staff were very friendly, courteous and helpful. The facilities and attention to detail were excellent. A lovely hotel in a beautiful setting.
Staff, location, design of rooms.. everything is EXCELENT
mattress on bed is too hard for my back
Water view suites, service with a smile, great dining, stunning scenery.
Beautiful location, well decorated rooms and very good quality service. Beautiful view from the front rooms' balconies.
Rooms next to the reception inevitably get some noice. Beds were very hard.
At least the service was good.
- No bath in the room - What they call a swimming pool is actually a bath (it's the smallest swimming pool we had ever seen) - we had a deluxe room with a view on the wall !!! - we had to cross a street to go in the hotel's restaurant - In comparison with a 5 stars hotel the breakfast is poor. - the only commun point with a 5 stars hotels is the price. We paid 300€. When we arrived there is was impossible to cancel it...
The hotel was absolutely beautiful and the staff went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay (we have found that customer service in Montenegro has been quite poor so it was a refreshing change). The restaurant and small beach area had fantastic views and the hotel itself was beautiful. There was a good range at breakfast. Our room (the Montenegro suite) was gorgeous. We would come back!
It was expensive by European standards for both accommodation and food but was worth it. It is not really walking distance to Kotor Old Town, but a taxi is only €5
