old town) old house)
very cold!!!!!!!!!! old rooms! wi-fi(
Friendly staff, hipster surroundings, plenty of cats nearby
There's no central heating or central hot water in Kotor, so in winter it was very cold in the room. You should sleep in outdoor clothes to avoid catching cold.
Very authentic and beautiful interior, definitely exactly what I am looking for. Location! Staff was very friendly and helped us with accommodation (there were very cold in a room and they extremely helped with heating), car rent and by answering our questions. I strongly recommend this place for others)))
Very cold room, but hotel staff deal with it
Marko was a great help and very friendly. Really welcomed us and gave us great information on anything we needed to know. The location was perfect for wandering around the Old Town.
We asked a staff member for a restaurant recommendation and he sent us to the most expensive place in town. We're staying at a hostel, we're not rich! The bed was very uncomfortable (we could feel the springs) and the pillows were too flat. The room was drafty and cold, the wifi didn't work, and the kitchen was understocked.
Great location in the old town; a unique authentic look of walls and the building (just like on the photos); the host speaks excellent English; everything works; there is an incredible view from the mountains, and the stairs to go up there is 50m next to the hostel.
We came in December and even with the conditioner constantly working at 30 grad it still was pretty cool in the room, so it's better to go during the tourist season; WiFi was pretty slow
beautiful building in a picturesque old town. Endless fun and socialising. Helpful staff and a good nights sleep
Very helpful/friendly staff, lovely old building, spacious room, easy to access from the bus terminal... I liked this hostel so much and ended up staying an extra night.
Kindness of the staff, stylish old house. Good location in the old town.
Amazing building, had a little kitchenette and bathroom shared between a couple of rooms but like being in a flat really
I like the beer pong and the fun in the bar. The helpful staff.
A great place with suoer location
Value for money..Studio flat for just the 2 of us. Very cute. Staff helpful.
The overpowering smell of the airfreshner in the bathroom was very intense. Coming down the stairs in the rain with luggage, was a bit dangerous..but th stairs were there before suitcases, so what can you do.
A house built in 13-14 century, locating in Kotor old town with extremely helpful staff like Marko. Everything is perfect.
Free wine! Additional blankets! Cool guys! And a beautiful location that you can go directly up the fortress from your staircase. Definitely would like to stay here again if I'm ever lucky enough to visit Kotor again.
the location excellent - so central. the staff were very helpful and pleasant to deal with. Overall I would recommend it highly (despite the toll of Church bell !!)
The (hourly and half hourly) ding dong of the Church bell which rang once @ 1oc, twice @ 2oc, 3 times @ 3oc, 4 @ 4oc etc and once on the half hour- I know because I heard it!
- nice staff - good location
- the bathroom was kind of filthy (they should definitly renew the joints of the tiles, they are are full with mold!) and also smelly - the beds were creaky and the mattrasses were worn and sagging
Bathroom is not that clean.. Maybe because its shared bathroom.
a special place where you can meet tourist fron all over the world
there is no privacy
Staff - Marco was great - friendly, helpful, informative and very easy going. Atmosphere was warm and funky. Tours available.
The design of the place is very unique, and the studio room is quiet big. It located in the center of the old city, so you can traveled through the ancient streets, and climb the fortess, even during night time.
The wifi was pretty poor, and if you wanted to connect, you needed to connect to other networks. The place was noisy during night - because of people and because of the city bell
Quite calm Nice staff
There was a used cotton stick in the bath room. Not sure whether it cleaned before we occupied it? Not sure if the bed linen were fresh. Mosquitos
Nice place, perfect location in center of Kotor. It is a hostel with a lot of atmosphere. A hostel as it should be. Plus the benefits of a private room if you book a studio. Staff is really helpfull and makes sure you have a nice stay. Beautiful building, very typical!
Rooms are in beautiful old building. Because of that there is not so much natural light in the rooms... Little noise from hallway but not too much.
Great location in the heart of Kotor old town. The staff was young and gave us tips on activities and restaurants and organized gatherings and free happy hours for the guests. They also provide a full home cooked dinner for 10€ each.
The bathroom was outside the room and shared with the other customers, but we knew it when we decided to book so no bad surprises. I must say it was very clean !
The guys running this place are awesome. They go above and beyond to not only make your stay at Hostel Old Town Kotor comfortable but your experience in Kotor and Montenegro memorable. The location in the old city cannot be beat!
It can get a bit loud at night depending on where your room is located. The surrounding old stone streets tend to echo.
Everything was fine. Had a great stay here.
