Apartments Kalaja  

We had a room with a sea view from three windows plus a large spa bathtub equipped with jets. However, the most memorable aspect of our time at Motel Kalaja was the hospitality of the owners, who welcomed us into their home. We had a great conversation with them about the city and the local culture. There is also a restaurant associated with the hotel that offers amazing views overlooking Mala Plaza from a terrace.

As we were visiting in the off-season, there was some construction in the vicinity of the hotel. This stopped by the early evening though and did not affect our sleep.

It was right in the old town, the bed very comfortable, the view from our room was fabolous, the owner was very helpful when we needed medical help,

Car parking is hard, especially when the center is closed after 20h, the apartman is high in the old town, hard to get close to it, the air-conditioner was dirty.

The motel has a fantastic view from the top of the living area.

The owner was very money focused and inflexible when it came to adjusting our reservation due to flight delays. He continued to charge us for a night we couldn't stay at the hotel. The hot water and electricity shut off for sections of the afternoon.

It is good-located motel, there are a lot of picturesque views to the sea and old town from the window.

Annoying staff, durty rooms, poor facilities.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Ulcinj and found your hotel comfortable, relaxing and accommodating. We were particularly impressed by the friendliness and helpfulness of all your staff. Our air-conditioned room was extremely comfortable with fantastic views. The food and company were both excellent. I would recommend your establishment to our friends and family should they be visiting Ulcinj and we hope we have the opportunity to enjoy your hospitality in the future. The staff, the quality of the room, the amazing views and location

The hefty climb to the hotel itself. Not recommended for people with mobilty issues or people who dont like walking, especially with luggage

прекрасное расположение, близко от центра города и одновременно в дали от шума ночных улиц и дискотек. современные номера в старой крепости. при отеле есть великолепный рыбный ресторан, принадлежащей семье хозяев отеля, очень рекомендуем фирменный стейк и пасту с каракатицей. хозяева отеля приветливы, помогли быстро решить проблемы с сантехникой (не работал душ). обязательно спросите, как правильно пользоваться бойлером. уборка в номере проводится по просьбе. так же можно отдать свои вещи в стирку(за отдельную небольшую плату). отличный, быстрый Wi- Fi. номер не разочаровал, у нас был чудесный вид на море, из окон можно наблюдать закат.

как уже упоминалось ранее в предыдущих рекомендациях - не работает джакузи, но для нас это было не принципиально.

Przepiękne położenie, z fantastycznym widokiem, z każdego okna, na zatokę - trudno o lepsze w Ulcinj. Motel Kalaja jest chyba najwyżej położonym budynkiem na Starym Mieście. Ma to jednak też swoją cenę: trzeba wysoko wnosić bagaże. Nie zapisuję jednak tego po stronie minusów ze względu na zupełnie bezinteresowną pomoc w tym zakresie gospodarzy. Co do gospodarzy - niezwykle sympatyczni, gościnni I pomocni. Parking, bez problemów, poniżej, na ulicy przy zatoce. Okresowo występowały braki ciśnienia wody - myślę, że jest to związane z wysokością. Jednak I tego nie zapiszę po stronie minusów. Podczas naszej 3-tygodniowej podróży przez Bałkany, 5-cio dniowy pobyt w Motelu Kalaja przebił wszystkie pozostałe lokalizacje, które zresztą też był dobre I starannie dobrane.

La posizione

Per arrivare all'albergo c'è un lungo percorso in salita con scale.La camera assegnata non era quella prenotata (bagno esterno), il proprietario era in spiaggia e non c'è stato nessuno nell'albergo fino alla mattina successiva all'arrivo. L'acqua corrente non è sempre disponibile.

Amplasamentul este unul extraordinar cu o priveliste deosebita.

Ceea ce se ofera pe booking nu corespunde cu ceea ce este la fata locului. Spre exemplu am platit (conform booking.com) un apartament cu un dormitor si living dar am primit doar o camera cu kichineta. O problema deosebita este apa, respectiv in intrevalul 18 -21 aceasta lispeste , desi la hotelurile din vecinatate aceasta problema nu exista.

amplasarea in cetatea veche si apropierea de mare

lipsa de receptivitate a patronului, informatiile false transmise de acesta cu privire la conditiile de cazare anterior rezervarii, lipsa apei sau a presiunii in intervalul orar cel mai important ( 18.00- 21.00). Ex.: abia in a 4-a zi dupa informarea sa a reusit sa repare un robinet la cada, pentru a beneficia de apa calda

amplasarea si privelistea este extraordinara.........personalul este foarte prietenos,restaurantul motelului este ok iar curatenia in apartamentul in care am stat a fost deasemenea satisfacatoare in raportul calitate-pret..........in concluzie, ne-am mai intoarce la Motel Kalaja!

un minus ar fi lipsa apei calde la baie,doar la anumite ore aveai parte de ea.........daca ar remedia problema mentionata,totul ar fi excelent!

Spokojna atmosfera I mili gospodarze

не понравилось, что описание номеров и их стоимость совершенно не соответствует действительности!!!! все фото перемешаны: комната - из одного номера, ванная -из другого, кухня -из третьего.мы смотрели фото одного номера, а нам предоставили совсем другой... очень обидно. плохо что нет русскоязычного канала. уборку в номере почему-то надо было просить! 2-3 раза не было воды... вот снимешь номер с ванной джакузи и будешь в пустой лежать)))))))) мы не привередливые. мы просто хотим другим дать реальную информацию. и горка, на которой расположен отель, не маленькая. с детьми туда лучше совсем не ехать, особенно с коляской.

Najbolja stvar i karakteristika ovog hotela je sami polozaj,buduci da je smjesten u srcu starog grada. Hotel ima fantastican pogled na pucinu i setaliste. Osoblje je ljubazno mada bez nekog veceg iskustva koje bi odgovorilo savremenijim zahtjevima trzista rada u hotelijerstvu i restorterstvu.

u sobi su nedistajale neke osnovne stvari,kao sto je toalet papir,peskiri i daljinski za tv. U opisu sobe navedeno je da je u sobi moguce gledati kablovsku/satelitsku tv, medjutim stvar ne stoji tako. Balkon je bio zatrpan tudjim stvarima tako da se nije moga koristiti,iako piseda je soba sa balkonom. Hotel zaista ima potencijala i predispozicije za ekskluzivu,ali trenutno stanje je daleko od toga.

останавливались в отеле в апреле 2012 г. удивительно гостеприимный персонал и сам хозяин отеля. виды из окна для романтиков. удобные широкие кровати. возможность готовить самим, но при наличии ресторана мы почти не пользовались кухней. вкусно за нормальные деньги. помните, это старая крепость, подъезда на машине нет. надо подниматься по ступеням. но возможность жить в старом городе компенсирует это неудобство. при возможности, обязательно будем бронировать этот отель, когда соберемся в ульцин.

I liked the fact taht the hotel is in the center, very cheap for Croatian standard. The rooms are nicely desiged and clean with beautiful view. The staff was friendly.

I didn`t like the untidy surroundings of the hotel, other people`s laundry drying in front of my window. I specificly asked for an extra bed for my four year old son, no matter the cost, and I called the hotel three weeks before our arrival, but I didn`t get it. They were friendly, offerring help and apologizing, but I only got it one day after we came. Alltogether - friendly, cheap and disorganized.

le resturant se situe dans le meilleur endroit de la vielle ville avec vue vue incroyable!

On nous a pas donne l appartement prévu à la location car l hôtel était overbookee . On a eu une chambre avec sdb extérieur commune utilisée également par la femme De ménage qui y prenait sa douche chaque matin donc impossible de l utilisé au réveil et le soir il n y a pas d eau dans l hôtel entre 18 h et 21 h! La chambre n avait pas de double vitrage et la fenêtre ne fermait presque pas donc on ne pouvait pas dormir le soir car le bar de la plage donnait de la techno très fort et très tard! de plus le serveur nous proposait que les plats les plus chers du restautantbetbfaidait la gueule quand on ne les choisissait pas! à éviter sauf pour la vue qui est vraiment top.

das zimmer war sauber und schön eingreichtet

personal war sehr langsam, zuerst hat man nicht das reservierte zimmer bekommen sondern was hässliches, der gründ dafür weil die früheren gäste dort länger bleiben wollten. nachts ware es sehr laut wegen der diskomusik auf der anderen seite. abends konnte man von 20-22:00 uhr mit auto nicht reinfahren.

Good location, nice sea views, good value for money.

Motel Kalaja advertises that it has balconeys, they only have two rooms with balconeys, and the views are blocked. There were problems with water supply. The water sometimes didn't run and when it did, it was a slow trickle. The water was also cold. This may be a town-wide problem given the amount of people in the summer.

Der Ausblick von der Terasse war traumhaft!!!

Unsere Reservierung lautete auf ein Appartment mit 2 Schlafzimmern, 1 Küche mit Terasse und Bad. Das "Appartment" waren 2 einfache Schlafzimmer nebeneinander auf einem Flur, wobei sich jedoch gegenüber ein weiteres Schlafzimmer des Eigentümers befand. Die Küche mit Terrasse durften wir zwar nutzen, gehörte jedoch auch nicht, wie beschrieben zum "Appartment dazu, sondern wurde ebenfalls von den Eigentümern und deren Mitarbeiterin genutzt. Auf dem Flur, wurde ab 7:30 Uhr gebügelt, Waschmaschine angestellt etc. Als Appartment war diese Buchung auf jeden Fall nicht anzusehen!!! Wir haben den Zimmerschlüssel des 2. Zimmers am 2. Tag direkt bei dem Eigentümer wieder abgegeben und ihm mitgeteilt, dass wir dieses Zimmer nicht mehr nutzen möchte, da es sich um kein abgetrenntes Appartment handelt und wir unsere Kinder nicht in einem unabgeschlossenem Zimmer alleine schlafen lassen wollten, auf dessen Flur sich noch weitere Schlafzimmer befinden und somit auch viele Menschen dort Zugang haben. Der Eigentümer verhietl sich in unseren Augen jedoch sehr unsozial und hat sich weder entschuldigt, noch uns, wie wir ihn drum gebeten haben, einen Teil unserer Zahlung zurück erstattet! Für uns ist jedenfalls klar: Nie wieder dieses Hotel!
