The friendliness and efficiency of the manager and staff, and the beautiful location above Sveti Stefan.
Great location with beautiful views of Sveti Stefan. Friendly helpful staff who made you feel at home. Lovely restaurant, food excellent. Wonderful room and very pleasant pool and terrace.
Difficult to find initially due to signpost pointing the wrong way.
Executive suit was not what we received. The room was not in good shape.
Very quiet with beautiful view and very comfortable room
Restaurant was in a wonderful position but the menu was limited maybe because hardly anyone ate there
We had the mist wonderful two nights at Villa Montenegro.... It is truly a five star boutique hotel with wonderful service and facilities. The staff were absolutely charming and very attentive. The restaurant has a wonderful view, superb food and wine and lovely service. We had live music both nights we were there which was great. The general manager made time to speak to everyone and was kind enough to upgrade us to a suite with a wonderful view. I would love to go back for a few days of rest and relaxation!
Our original room was labeled as having a balcony on bookings.com but really it was a shared terrace, where you would have to lock your room to go to... So do read the room descriptions carefully. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough, or really was such a treat to stay there!
Friendly, helpful staff
Problems with A/C
The staff was friendly, helpful, the view from the terrace of the room was nice, we saw, sveti stefan island, private resort. The village was not what we expected to have an evening walk or something like that. You can follow the border walk at the sea but you will pass Villa Millocer, but you can't afford a drink overthere. 15 euro for a glass of wine, that's a pity. We had diner at Blanch Restaurant in Przno the first time it was good, the second time it was worse, same menu but different cooking way of sauce
The continental breakfast was poor, you had to pay for every toast or egg..that's a pity. Even when you pay a lot. The terrace at the room was very small, we had a good room but we didn't have a view, there was no window on the bedside, only a small terrace in the corner of the room.
Absolutely everything! Our room was beautiful and comfortable with an amazing view. The staff were all very helpful and attentive and assisted with our every request, from tours, spa treatments, and food/dining reservations to information about the area and hotel facilities. The location is perfect with spectacular views of Sveti Stefan and the coast. The food, service, and views from the restaurant and bar were excellent. The spa area and pool were great.
That we couldn't stay longer. :) And maybe that the sign on the hotel itself was too small to see from the road so it was a little hard to find despite the helpful road signs pointing the way...
The location and views - fabulous My room was spacious and comfortable The food was mostly good - some delicious fish and seafood, good wine (from Montenegro) Some of the staff were charming - a special word for the boys in the restaurant and Mis (spelling?) in particular very helpful, excellent English, very professional On the last day I wanted to leave early and they provided an good box lunch for the journey They kindly changed my booking before I arrived at no charge
Lots of details were wrong, which meant the hotel did not deserve its potential five star rating (for its comfort and location etc) The receptionist spoke very poor English which led to misunderstandings and issues a light in my room was faulty and was never repaired despite my requests Breakfast was not great and the orange juice was made in a juicer instead of a squeezer, which made the juice bitter (I pointed this out but not sure it sank it) Minibar was well stocked but overpriced (this often happens) The hotel is hard to find as there is no proper sign outside The gym was not very well equipped, the sauna was not working (and there was no hurry to repair it) and the jacuzzi was cold The drains from the balconies ran into the swimming pool, which I did not use The balconies were badly designed such that impossible to use in rain The bathroom is big and spacious and there could be a bath - the water temperature was irregular and at one point the water from the washbasin was only hot! The toilet is badly installed Communications at recpetion seemed poor as they could not find my car key when I was leaving They tried to overcharge me 20 euros for an expensive (and not very good) massage on the grounds it was aromatherapy, which it was not (and I had asked for a classic massage) Those are the main faults - all of which mean I cannot at present recommend this hotel, sadly because it could be great with more attention to detail, more professional management etc
