Central location allowed us to walk for miles and see people and places from all walks of life. We even made it to the airport more quickly than our friends who took ground transportation and started at the same time we did.
We liked the breakfast and the good WiFi connection in the restaurant. The room was small but quirky and there was a reasonable selection of TV channels, alas none was in English. The price was reasonable, check in and check out were efficient and the staff friendly.
It takes a lot of patience to get there -- it took us well over two hours from the airport in a permanent traffic jam. Our room was on the 3rd floor and it was impossible to connect to WiFi. The room has AC, but the unit is very small and it took hours to cool down the room. Room size would suit a single person, but was very small for two.
Not easy to pay by credit card...
lovely decor, good service, good location
In this strange city the hotel is better than you would expect, the room was clean, breakfast ok, personnel was speaking English
Very strange bathroom without any wall to separate from the room, could be noisy if your room is close to the bar
The room was very comfy and nicely decorated. If you like karaoke, make sure to check out the bar.
Floors in the rooms were a little creaky and lots of stairs to climb.
Really nice menu in the restaurant and really good view from the balcony. Rooms are really clean and staff spoke good english. Air in the room was fresh to breath because the air condition.
Bamboo door in bathroom was weird, could be awkward for other people like for daughter and father.
Staff very friendly and young. Nicely decorated rooms. Good breakfast, nice restaurant. Good Wifi signal.
Close to market
Noisy, old and run down, restaurant marginal
Decor, food in Indian restaurant
Wifi a bit slow
Good furnishings, good outlook from rooms and restaurant
On a busy street in Upper Tana, steep narrow staircases
Nice location, good facilities, very delicious breakfast!
Very accommodating staff - would stay again.
The price was good The staff excellent and helpful Good wi fi connection
to reach the room 3rd floor, very tiring to do so many stairs some resident were very noisy at the early hours round 3a.m
Indian, French, Italian and local food... All excellent!
the hotel itself ist perfect
the driver who brought me to the hotel and back was just dangerous
The restaurant, the lively bar, the good wifi signal everywhere, the efficiency of the staff, the location, my suite (spacious, big bathtub, awesome view)
breakfast (not many vegan options, not big variety of fruits, only papaya)
Good if your requirement is not higher
nice room and great staff
Even with the A/C at maximum the room was not getting cooler
Colonial architectural style. Small to medium-size hotel.
A. The different ways used by the hotel for screwing customers: 1. Hotel charged an additional 4% of the total amount announced in BOOKING.COM. 2. I ate some cookies displayed in my room. No price was shown. I thought it was free. They charged me an extra 10000 Ar. which is as expensive as a main dish in the hotel's restaurant. B. Noisy wooden floors, especially at night. C. In the bathroom there were neither soap, nor shampoo, but condoms.
I would not return.
Just about everything. Staff uninformed, no elevator, loud bar , no door on bathroom. Needs better management.
The view from the top floor rooms are great - but the downside is the hotels location.
The problem is not so much the hotel itself (though the noise from the wooden floors in he top floor rooms is impossible to sleep through) as its location. High on the hill it has great views down on over the central city, but at night there is nothing around in terms of other places to eat, and it is not a savoury neighbourhood to be wandering in after dark. The room was a good size, but rather overcrowded with unnecessary furniture. The bathroom separated by only a banboo screen from the bed was interesting.
No door to toilets. Breakfast not so good. Rather noisy
