Score from 43 reviews Very good
Very accommodating staff - would stay again.
The price was good The staff excellent and helpful Good wi fi connection
to reach the room 3rd floor, very tiring to do so many stairs some resident were very noisy at the early hours round 3a.m
Indian, French, Italian and local food... All excellent!
the hotel itself ist perfect
the driver who brought me to the hotel and back was just dangerous
The restaurant, the lively bar, the good wifi signal everywhere, the efficiency of the staff, the location, my suite (spacious, big bathtub, awesome view)
breakfast (not many vegan options, not big variety of fruits, only papaya)
Good if your requirement is not higher
nice room and great staff
Even with the A/C at maximum the room was not getting cooler
Colonial architectural style. Small to medium-size hotel.
A. The different ways used by the hotel for screwing customers: 1. Hotel charged an additional 4% of the total amount announced in BOOKING.COM. 2. I ate some cookies displayed in my room. No price was shown. I thought it was free. They charged me an extra 10000 Ar. which is as expensive as a main dish in the hotel's restaurant. B. Noisy wooden floors, especially at night. C. In the bathroom there were neither soap, nor shampoo, but condoms.
I would not return.
Just about everything. Staff uninformed, no elevator, loud bar , no door on bathroom. Needs better management.
The view from the top floor rooms are great - but the downside is the hotels location.
The problem is not so much the hotel itself (though the noise from the wooden floors in he top floor rooms is impossible to sleep through) as its location. High on the hill it has great views down on over the central city, but at night there is nothing around in terms of other places to eat, and it is not a savoury neighbourhood to be wandering in after dark. The room was a good size, but rather overcrowded with unnecessary furniture. The bathroom separated by only a banboo screen from the bed was interesting.
No door to toilets. Breakfast not so good. Rather noisy
Nice hotel. Good service in the reception!
Breakfast can be better! Restaurant can be much better! Stop playing loud music, We are there to sleep!!
Staff were so helpful when I was in a visa pickle and took me to town to sort it.
Wi if was temperamental, but wifi in the whole city is.
The hotel is well situated and away from the city buzz. I found the room small but cosy.
The traffic leading to the hotel may be quite heavy at times and the place noisy with car horning every now and then.
Good enough for a short stay .
Maids keep the place clean
Bathroom was not separate from the room, not good
This is a good hotel in the Centrum. Clean.
Generally good to notice that even thouhg it is only about 13 km from the airport, the time in the traffic can take an hourh on way.
Comfortable rooms, good value for money (we got $50/night) Wifi was accessible everywhere Safe in the room Decent restaurant with veg options as well Reception was able to speak decent English
No door for bathroom Reception was unsure about the taxi rates for nearby and faraway sights
The Hotel is nice, the location is good but it is very noisy!
Very noisy Hotel! The hotel owner likes to give parties in the bar which is directly under the rooms. He also has no problems in staying there with young women. Horrible! I can´t understand this, it is a Hotel and not a bar or worser... The restaurant is not good, also the breakfast is very bad!
The location is great, the Hotel is clean, safe, the rooms are comfortable and relatively clean.
The owner of the Hotel like to have parties in the bar which is directly under the rooms in the first floor. I stayed several times in the Hotel and it was often VERY LOUD. Last time I asked for the 3rd floor but in one night I even hearded the music in my room. The Hotel is nice but with that loud music I think I want come back! The breakfast is very simple and not good, also the food in the restaurant is not good.
u can find everything you need in the room.
sometimes. the people in the bar are making noise at night
The facilities are well-rounded that you can find everything you need in the room.
Sometimes, the people in bar are a bit noisy at night which you might hear some noice during sleep
Stayed at the hotel at the beginning and the end of our trip to Madagascar. Value for money. Rooms are great for European standards. Clean and comfy rooms with nice bathroom (no door) Meals at the hotel are typically Indian, worth to try! Excellent choice due to location and price. I would come back again
just being picky: -breakfast is quite poor for Malagasy standards. firs come first served, wake up early just in case -the music during the evening is non stop until late at night. can be heard from the 2nd floor. Bring some ear plugs -hotel should have some maps of the city, it will be v usefull
