hotel restaurant charges fantasy prices for water and wine; was in top floor, windows were very small, had to bend down or go to the terrace to look out; walls are very thin, could hear every sound from the street, or from the neighbours

The staff were very helpful, friendly and kind. The view from the room was perfect, as it overlooked the lake. The food was well cooked, wonderful coffee was available, and we often lunched in the restaurant as well.

The air conditioning was terrible on the top floor. It could not cool the apartment down at all. The wireless internet didn't work, either. I wouldn't really rate the hotel as four star, it's closer to three stars

Too much noise, there is nothing to do because the hotel is very closed to night clubs. The room smells bad. It should be more clean.

It was well situated on the lake side and ideal for visiting the old town. Staff were friendly, the hotel was clean and well maintained and I had a very nice room overlooking the lake

Convienently located next to shops, restaurants and night clubs. Free parking and friendly staff. Rooms are spacious, but bathroom substandard.

The hotel room was hot. It was the end of May and the temperature outside was hot. Unfortunately, it wasn't the "season" for air conditioning and they refused to turn on the air conditioner. We had to sleep with our windows open and there were people walking by the hotel and making noise into the early hours of the morning. The mattress was very uncomfortable.

The scenery from the hotel is very beautiful. The location is excellent in Ohrid. The breakfast is quiet good compare with the previous hotel I stayed in Skopje.

If I really have to say something about dislike, probably the parking. But the hotel staff is really helpful and try to find a place for us to park.

Hotel Aleksandrija has an amazing location right on lake Ohrid and very close to the city center, pubs, restaurants, etc. I would recommend grabbing the rooms with the lake view, absolutely wonderful. The complementary breakfast was also one of the best that I've had. Overall, excellent value for your money.

i liked that the hotel was on the seaside and the service was really good and kind

Great view to the lake, location easy to find, comfortable bed, spacious room, ready to help staff... it was a pleasant stay for my family
