Very friendly and helpful owners and staff. Nice family atmosphere. Clean rooms and 15-20min walking distance to centre.

Everything was AMAZING!!

On the hill at the edge of downtown. The room on the ground floor level was good, but a bit dark and there were mold traces in the shower stall. The receptionist and the owner were very friendly and helpful with sightseeing suggestions. You can walk from the hotel straight down to the city center in about 15-20 minutes, it is a bit of a messy walk due to construction but definitely doable. Better to take an inexpensive taxi (about 2-3 euro) back as there is quite an incline. There was private parking available in front of the hotel, within sight of the 24-hour reception. Our GPS refused to recognise the GPS coordinates or address provided, probably as it did not have detailed maps of the country. We also had problems finding a bank to cash money into the local currency, so finally hailed a taxi to bring us first to an exchange office and then to the hotel, which only cost about 3 euro. There are no exchange stalls at the border when you enter Macedonia from Serbia, but apparently right after the border to the left there is a postoffice that changes currencies. The owners indicated that GPS often has problems, hailing a taxi and letting the hotel first pay for it and then figuring out where to change money would be a good alternative. Overall an ok place with extremely friendly staff and owner.

Friendly and helpful staff; good internet and free; correct price

The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our time in Skopje with the help of this great staff. Hotel is located at 15 minutes of walking distance from the main square. Taxis are very cheap. We did not have any problems walking to the city center and we took taxi while returning to the hotel. We would strongly recommend Hotel Leonardo for accommodation. Staff was very gracious and helpful, room had good air-conditioning, patio was very pretty and relaxing. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and pleasant. I appreciate that they are working to improve the Interent connectivity, but was able to use it when I needed to do so.

Workers just outside of the bathroom window (on the house next door, so nothing the hotel can do about that). Also, it's a bit far from restaurants, etc.

If you are planning to spend the day in the city and use the hotel for night accommodation only, this is a good choice 1) Service: staff very friendly, very helpful 2) Location: in a quite residential area, 20 min walking distance from Alexander the Great square. 2 euros and 5 min by taxi. 3) Rooms: nice minimalist decor. Comfy beds. Clean, new and functioning bathroom 4) Breakfast: both mediterranean and nordic choices. 5) Free wireless internet connection.

1) Room does not have a view. Windows open to a neighboring building. But we stayed on floor 2. Maybe it is different for higher levels 2) Minibar was noisy. But staff fixed it.

While not in the city center it is an easy 10-15 minute walk.

The staff were very helpful. They gave great directions, called taxis for us as necessary and serve a tasty breakfast.

Very friendly english speaking staff and I felt like home to stay in this small hotel. Cosy atmosphere. Nice location, walking distance from the city center. The room was very modern and clean. Positive thing also is, that all the hotel inside premises are no smoking.

Otel sahibi ve personel cok cana yakin ve yardimsever. Ust kattaki odalar yeterince konforlu. Uskupe gidecek herkese gonul rahatligi ile tavsiye edebilirim.

Leonardo ligt in een rustig gedeelte van de stad. Het centrum is voor iets meer dan een euro met de taxi te bereiken. Omdat het hotel niet is gelegen midden in het stadscentrum is het muisstil rondom het hotel en een stuk minder benauwd in vergelijk met het centrum. De luxe kamer is bijzonder netjes en schoon. De badkamer is brandschoon. De kamer is compleet en in nieuwstaat en wordt dagelijks opgeruimd. Verder is de kamer van alle gemakken voorzien zoals een Flatscreen, Airco, Verwarming, voldoende led verlichting in de kamer en verlichte garderobekasten. Hotel Leonardo is een absolute aanrader!!!

Personnel parfait, il fera tout pour vous satisfaire. L'hôtel n'est pas dans le centre mais y aller en taxi coûte environ 1€ ! Petit dej bien.

Un seul et gros défaut : la climatisation fait du bruit!!!!

Ruime, schone, nieuwe kamer met zeer goede bedden. Benedenkamers hebben zitje in tuintje. Zeer behulpzaam personeel dat goed Engels spreekt.

Af en toe last van tikkende aircobuis.

Vriendelijk onthaal met veel tips voor de omgeving te verkennen. Nette kamer en goed ontbijt goede parkeermogelijkheden en uitstekende ligging

Hotel is aan de dure kant - zeker voor Macedonische normen

The hotel is very quiet - situated in a wooded residential area above Skopje (but only a 15 minute walk to the center). Staff spoke good English and were very helpful with directions and taxis. Nice breakfast buffet, excellent wi-fi connection in room. The air conditioner worked great! We would stay again if in Skopje.

Returning from the center of Skopje to the hotel is all uphill! But it costs only 1 euro to take a taxi. The location suited us because it was so quiet.
